A harmless looking old man sits smiling at the Defendant's table.

He's been accused of kidnapping, torturing and murdering women.

There are no bodies and only two witnesses left alive.

But this isn't his story. It's a story about the women: the victims and the survivors.

This is a very interesting book. It details a serial killer's victim's, from his last to his first in that order. Love how it went from the end to the beginning in the story. The victims were all women, and were tortured as well. The only thing I wasn't that fond of was the timeline lists before each chapter. I would have enjoyed the lest more either before or after the story, it seemed to chop it up, and since it was pages and pages long in places it just slewed it way down and while interesting, it was also boring. Also, the timeline lists could have used punctuation to make it easier to read. Anyway, the story was interesting and I quite enjoyed it.

I was sent a copy from the author. I was not paid in any way and all opinions are my own.
