She’s the only girl in this year’s class.
Every guy in here wants a piece of the action.
But there’s a reason they call me the Dream Machine.
She’ll slide down my pole and discover why.

The story was a quick read with a interesting set up. Lacey is the only female in this class of firemen. She wants to be the best of the bet. She is focused and ready to go. However, there are obstacles in here way. She has to wade her way through a bunch of immature idiots. The first one she meets is Payton. He come off as a immature jerk, but you quickly realize there is more to him. What is originally a forced partnership, quickly escalates into a hot romance. Good story with characters that grow on you. Great epilogue at the end.

Payton was hot, well atleast how he is described. At first he was an arrogant jerk, but Lacey put him in his place repeatedly. Finally she gives into their attraction after he tones down his come-on, knowing that she is special and not one of the easy girls. It had its sad moment, the part with Hernandez, the loyalty moments, and suspense. And of course our HEA.

Blaze by Teagan Kade a hot and fiery five-star read. I have read a few Teagan Kade novels in my time, and I am sure I will read many, many more. Once again, she has done what it says on the tin, given us a really good read that is hot and fiery in the best way as its set in Pemberton Fire Academy or as its sometimes known the ‘Hot House’ a place filled with hot trainee fire fighters. (I am planning research on the real places as I type). The writing is great, the people are planned out and have real character to them, Payton is and tasty and has a hose of his own that had my mouth watering. Lacey is someone that you care about from the first page, she is facing a major challenge but is determined to rise to the challenge and not allow the fact that she’s a girl keep her down. I loved how they could have made more about her past, but allowed her to not be overshadowed by a hero, instead she became her own. The guys from the Hot house gave us several very funny situations that had me giggling like a loon, and also a couple that had me holding my chest like my heart was gonna pop out. A great read, and if you like a man in uniform this book will be it for you.

Quick and smokey read by Teagan. Lacey is out to prove she can do it and she is the only female recruit at the Fire Academy. Payton has his eyes on her right off the mark as well as other parts of his anatomy! He's not at all shy and greats her in the dorm bare naked.

Lots of laugh out loud moments and a happy ending. The ride in between is a bit bumpy and of course there's some strife with fellow recruits.

BLAZE IS SMOKIN' HOT!!!
Title: Blaze
Author: Teagan Kade
Designation: Full-Length Standalone Bad Boy Firefighter Romance, NO Cliffhanger
Reading Platform: Kindle Edition
My Rating: Five Devilishly Delicious Stars*****
Oh my! I loved, loved, loved Blaze! This is my first time reading Teagan Kade, but it certainly won't be my last! Blaze is an exciting, action-packed, fast-paced, fun-filled, well-crafted standalone contemporary bad boy firefighter romance filled to the brim with heart-wrenching drama, agonizing angst, dreamy love, and steamy sex. Though not technically categorized as a thriller, adventure, or comedy, Bait is liberally seasoned with pulse pounding danger, spine-tingling suspense, and laugh-out-loud humor. I know - sounds like a strange combination, right? But it's all in there and it works! The narrative is beautifully written in the first person with clearly defined his and her perspectives. My favorite! The dialogue is smart, snappy, well executed, at times hilarious, and flows effortlessly. Once I read the second sentence of the very first chapter, I was hooked! That's not a typo, folks. I was hopelessly addicted after reading only two sentences and by the end of the second chapter, I knew I'd never be able to stop until I finished the entire book. I fell head over heels in love with both protagonists! Cocky, arrogant, sometimes crude but always sexy, former football player but now bad boy firefighter-in-training Payton Cox is just the cat's meow! Purrr-fectly adorable! And OMG - beautiful former homecoming queen and now firefighter-in-training Lacey Nelson is my hero, or I should say heroine! She's strong, tough, sassy, brave, and determined to succeed. Her dad was a New York City firefighter who perished on 9-11 and she wants nothing more than to become a firefighter and make a difference by saving lives. These two characters literally explode from the pages and set your Kindle on fire! The interaction between Payton and Lacey is nothing short of hilarious and is filled with laugh-out-loud one-liners, brazen innuendos, and sexy banter. But oh my heavens, Payton and Lacey are a perfect pairing, playing off each other brilliantly. When they meet, their connection immediately sparks to life and quickly erupts into a fiery blaze - literally! Their sexual chemistry is so hot it sizzles, their passion explosive, their love undeniable, and their fate inescapable. I laughed, I cried and shook my fists in anger, but by the end, I was happy, satisfied and well entertained. No spoilers from me but I will say this... Handsome, cocky and wealthy womanizing bad boy firefighter-in-training with an ego even larger than his trust fund who has just met his match-check! A beautiful, determined young woman desperately in need of money for tuition so she can become a firefighter and follow in her deceased father's footsteps-check! Danger, drama, action, suspense, and an enemy who isn't afraid to kill in order to take what he wants-check! Steamy sex and heartwarming romance-you bet! That and a whole lot more!

Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Was it perfect? No, the plot was a little transparent and by that I mean, I knew the identity of the bad guy before it was actually revealed. It was kinda obvious but Kade still kept me on my toes throughout the entire book, and it didn't stop me from enjoying the story. There were a few minor boo-boos but nothing that distracted me from the story. Would I recommend it? You bet and I am, but only for adult readers since it does contain steamy dreamy sex and a trash-talking alpha hero with a dirty mind and even dirtier mouth. Payton's vocabulary is littered with an encyclopedia of sexual innuendos and four letter words. And I loved every single minute! If you love strong heroes and kickbutt heroines, then this book is definitely for you. Will I read this author again? Abso-freakin-lutely! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! This story probably won't win a literary award but it did win my heart! Deliciously cute, fabulously funny, exhilaratingly suspenseful, sinfully sexy, and delightfully entertaining!

Caution: the need for cold showers ahead!! 🔥🔥

Holy smokes, this book is on fire! This sizzling story follows the class of Pemberton Fire Academy as they learn the ins and outs of firefighting; on and off of the training grounds. Competition is fierce and not everyone can hack it as we learn first hand that tge old adage is true: "if you cant stand the heat, stay outta the kitchen."

Lacey was the female protagonist and I loved her fiesty, take-no-crap ways. She is the lone woman in the class and is determined to prove she has what it takes to succeed and thrive in her chosen profession; both for herself and the memory of her firefighter father who died a hero. Its not all smooth sailing despite her incredible aptitude, but she is made of grit and powers through.

Payton, the male lead, starts out as a grade-A wanker, but we soon learn that beneath his incredible muscles and "gypsy eyes" tattoo beats a heart thats true. He, too, had determination and drive even when he suffered a few set-backs. He starts out as fairly insufferable man candy, but quickly becomes a protagonist worth reading, and swooning, about.

The chemistry between Lacey and Payton is indeed blazing and the sizzle burns so good. The background characters were all fun and quirky in their own way and I really enjoyed the interplay between them all. Tragedy, followed by mystery, did strike, but it only pulled the class closer and brought home in a personal way just how important a firefighters job is.

This was a FAST paced, well written, extremely hot read and I looooved every moment of it! I will read this again, and again, and again.

Teagan Kade does it again with another scorcher read that will set you heart ablaze and melt you. Payton is the insufferable cocky jock that likes to run his dirty mouth when he wants someone and that someone is the only female in the academy, Lacey, and he has his sights on her. Lacey doesn't let him fluster her, she gives as good as she gets and stands up to all the men there, proving she belongs earning respect amongst them. Payton doesn't back down even when she puts him in his place which makes it all the more fun to read the banter and innuendos between them. As luck would have it they are partnered together and soon they are partnered in more ways than one but even with all that they help each other out working as a team so both can succeed.
That is why I loved this book, the two of them working together to solve their problems and not letting anyone get between them. They are open and honest from the start not letting secrets come between them or trying to avoid the truth when one of them catches the other in a situation. Just when you think it's going to go one way with how the other will react, the author surprises you in the best way possible, making this read AMAZING, along with some suspense, the attraction and scorching heat jumping out from the pages, the steamy scenes and an ending that melted my heart....LOVED IT !!!

Lacey is entering the elite fire academy. It has always been her dream to become a firefighter like her dad who died on 9/11 and her grandfather. She is determined to graduate top of the class. She is the only women in her class and the men in the class are acting like drunken frat boys when she arrives. When she leaves her room to get more of her things, she runs into her neighbor Payton who is totally naked and tries to put the moves on her. Annoyed with his cockiness and attitude, she storms out.
Payton is the son of a very rich family. He was a football star in college until he got kicked out for stupid choices. He spent more time sleeping with coeds than studying and he got caught with steroids. His parent want him to join the family empire but Payton wants to make a difference and become a fireman. He is very attracted to Lacey and won't give up. The instructor pairs the two together during the training forcing them to work together.
Somehow Lacey and Payton have to work as a team despite their burning hot chemistry. Both have obstacles to overcome to pass the program. Payton needs to work harder on the book work and Lacey has to overcome her fear of enclosed spaces. This is a great story about how two opposites can make a great couple. I voluntarily received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Well! What a ride that was!
Teagan Kade took pure passion added in emotional mayhem and suspenseful twists and turns to keep us on our toes giving us an actual "Blazing" Hot read to satisfy all the senses!
Lacey, Payton and the rest of class ( well most of them anyway) are an absolute treat to read about! You can feel the bond they all form, the connection between the arrogant but somehow makes it work Payton and Lacey is one that can tell right away is going to be good! Captain Jennings is one of my favorites out of this lively bunch!
This heartfelt Fire Station romance is more than the workplace getting it on falling into insta love. Sure it was a sexy- powerful- had me laughing- cringing and wanting to take out some recruits type read. However, there was also some amazing messages in there about believing in yourself- no matter what anyone tells you it is o.k to do for you, and whether you are a man or women obstacles can be overcome.
Oh yeah and the best ways to win a drinking contest. * winks*
Another amazeballs book by Teagan Kade! Her unique stylings keep amazing me!
I look forward to the next book!!

Lacey Nelson is the only woman to enroll in the fire academy, but this chick is not afraid, and is here to kick some bums. Her father was a firefighter who lost his life in 9-11, and her Mom hates the idea of her daughter doing anything dangerous, but she is going to give all she got.
I loved Lacey she was a spitfire that didn't back down from all the guys, or the heat. Payton Cox is trying to prove to his Dad that he's got what it takes to become a firefighter and not be a failure. He is so full of himself, arrogant, and really thinks he's god gift to women everywhere. He works hard at breaking down Lacey so she will go on a date. The two become partners in the field and really help one another with their weaknesses. Their is a bit of suspense and tragic event that puts all the recruits in danger. I loved these two they where definitely chemistry that couldn't be doused, and Payton really stepped up to the plate with Lacey. I received an ARC to share my thoughts on this fiery story.

Lacy and Payton meet at fire school under very unusual circumstances. (You need to read the book just to see how they met.) Payton is a jerk and Lacey can't tolerate him.

When the captain of the fire school make them partners, they start to realize first impressions can be misleading. Lacey and Payton eventually start helping each other. Lacey realizes there is more to Payton than just an ex-jock trying to get laid. Payton finally realizes Lacey is totally different from the girls he's known in the past. They start helping each other and their relationship develops into something a lot more than friendship and partnership.

But Payton and Lacey has more to worry about than their relationship and making it through fire school. There is a pyromaniac loose at the school and he's setting fires that could kill. Will they be able to solve this mystery? Will they have a future? Read the book to find out. There is mystery, surprises, laughter and hot sex. I volunteered to review for an ARC of this book.

I absolutely loved the latest from Teagan Kade! When Lacey shows up Pemberton Fire Academy her goal is to be at the top when she makes it through, knowing it will be a testosterone ocean she is swimming in. What she never counted on was meeting that would change everything wearing nothing and throwing out the cheesiest pick-up lines. Payton is at Pemberton trying to prove that he is more than just a football player who screwed up. I loved the dynamic between Payton and Lacey, there are off the charts sparks between them, but that isn't all there is to them. Lacey helps Payton be the man he can be and Payton gives Lacey the courage and help to get over her fears. This book has it all; off the charts chemistry between these two, danger and drams plus the added fact of Lacey's father being a firefighter who was one of those lost during 9/11. Teagean Kade had me hooked from the very first word until the end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Lacey Nelson is excited to be a student at the Pemberton Fire Academy ... until her hot neighbor Payton introduces himself ... naked. The arrogant jerk thinks he's God's gift to women and the icing on the cake? Getting partnered up with Payton. Payton Cox was on a football scholarship at Brown University until his life became FUBAR so he decided to become a fire fighter. When Payton meets firecracker Lacey, he knows he has to have her but fellow student Ryan wants her too. Lacey and Payton go a date and have so much fun that they start dating for real and things are going well ... until Payton and Ryan get kicked out for fighting. An obsessed Ryan creates a distraction before drugging and kidnapping Lacey. Will Payton be able to save her?

Another great story from Teagan Kade.
Lacey is the only female at the elite fire Academy. A homecoming queen who wants to be so much more than what her mother and others Twenty her to be.
Payton, a former college football star who was disgraced, and has bucked husband family business to become a firefighter and help others.
The way Payton and Lacey meet will have you smiling and maybe laughing.
Teagan again gives readers a strong female characters with conviction who wants to do something beyond what others expect and she wants to do it on her own merit.
Payton is a strong alpha character with some flaws, who realizes that when you find a woman who makes you stop and reconsider what you usually want from a woman is different than what you want from her, you may need to change a bit.
This story has a sweet, funny romance interspersed with a mystery and some lively secondary characters.
I was given this book and am leaving an honest voluntary review.

This was an awesome book! The perfect combination of romance hot sex scenes and suspense. I laughed and I cried throughout this whole book. It was a nice change.

It was no surprise how Lacey meets Payton. With only one female at the Academy of course the boys are going to run naked. It was kind of a shock to see Lacey fall so fast for Payton. I was just happily surprised that an author writes about a virgin. But for their first time you think it would be taken a little slower! With Ryan in the mix you know the outcome isn’t going to be good. It was very sad what happens to Hernandez but I am glad Ryan is going to pay. I was just a little shocked that they didn’t keep in contact with Jackson and all the others from their class.

In the epilogue I am glad to see it five years later so we finally get to see what becomes of this couple. I was so happy to see them going back to the Academy.

In my opinion Blaze was a great read. In my opinion the characters are intriguing. A lot of times I hate alpha males in this case Payton started off very badly, the more I read the more I came to like him. Payton is arrogant with a sweet side, he takes no crap and has his partners back.I loved Lacey from the start she is smart, strong and does things even when her mom doesn't want her to. When Payton and Lacey get together it's explosive and hot. Roxie Noir wrote suspenseful page turner. This is a little bit of a formula story but has a good storyline. The sex is hot and steamy. Roxie Noir did not disappoint me. When she wrote the exercises and about the fires, I could feel the heat and tension. I enjoyed Blaze and it kept me turning the pages. In my opinion it's worth taking a look at. I received an ARC edition for my honest and voluntary review.

This is another heartfelt story that sets the reader’s heart a blaze. Lacey is an alpha female thrust into a world dominated by alpha men to become a firefighter because she wants to follow in her father’s footsteps. She is working to be the top of her class but is concerned about where her tuition money will come from. Payton is the cocky, ex-football player with a trust fund expelled from his Ivy League university under the guise of a misunderstanding. From the onset Lacey and Payton seem to ignite each other’s flame to where neither one can stop thinking about the other. They fight and keep each other in check with their witty banter and throwing of the occasional insult. Ms. Kade has created an incendiary storyline that burns all the way to your core and leaves you wanting more.

This book was merely okay. There was a ton of sex, which is always interesting in a story with the title and premise, but there was very little in the way of maturity and growth. The epilogues were absolutely necessary and the reason for a 3 star instead of a 2 star rating from me. I liked that they each helped one another with their weaknesses and that their relationship wasn't just physical, it just got a little overshadowed by all the hormonal posturing of 21 year old males. I actually thought this was an unwise age to make the MC's. I would have believed their depth of feeling more if they each had a couple/few more years of life experience. The villain was predictable but not exactly in a bad way. His craziness was a bit unexpected though. Overall, this was a pretty good read, definitely quick, but not exactly inspiring depth worth revisiting.

Read and willingly reviewed this ARC for the author.

Oh phew...light my fire Payton. This is one hot sexy story. Pemberton Fire Academy has a whole lot of new recruits. Now the fun begins.
When only female recruit Lacey Nelson joins the Academy, she doesn't expect her new partner to be as hot as he is. So outgoing, sexy, cheeky and sooo revealing!!! Payton Cox loves to shock and now his next door room mate will be a challenge. Lacey thinks he is so full of himself even though he is sex on legs. Finding out how all the recruits get to know each other, some good ...some bad. Lots of funny moments especially the drinking scene, loved it. There is even lots of drama which you expect and are not disappointed. A truly great story and makes you appreciate our firefighters all over the world 🌎

I have to say that this book was given a good name. They was a big blaze burning between Payton and Lacey from the first time that they meant. At first I thought that Payton was a huge idiot and I could not figure out why he was the main character in the book. Once the book continued you could see that Payton had a depth to him that he kept inside. That he just acted cocky on the outside to hide the hurt he felt on the inside. Lacey was trying to live up the hero her dad was. Once the book got underway you could see that Payton and Lacey were meant to be together. You throw in a little mystery and intrigue and this is on great book. Definitely a 5 star read.

Erhmigawd! Blaze is hawt!!! Payton and Lacey enroll at the fire academy, both against the wishes of parents but for different reasons. Payton is a cocky player and Lacey is a hardworking, good girl. Of course opposites attract...
This story is fantastic! Not all about the romance/sex between the two main characters, although there are some really steamy moments. The plot explores the weaknesses of each character and how they compliment each other. We see the characters grow throughout the time at the academy, including supporting characters. There were some knee-slapping hilarious moments...that 1st date, OMG!!!! There is also a creepy guy and tragic event. The story kept me enthralled...seriously did not want to stop to take care of family!!!

Payton Cox was on his last leg after disappointing his father and enrolling in the Pemberton Fire Academy to be a firefighter. His trust fund nor his previous experience as a football player could change his reputation as a player. Lacey Nelson enrolled in the fire academy to peruse a profession her father was. She is feisty and determined not to be the weakest link in her group of male figures. Payton and Lacey sexual bantering was hilarious and cute at times displaying Payton alpha-male and extra large egos. The story was well written with great characters and the words flowed well leaving me unable to put the book down. I truly loved it!

The sparks will fly with the emotions steamy in Teagan Kade's "Blaze"! Lacey and Payton are enrolled in the fire academy and meet under a bit of naked circumstances. Two people wanting to get through the fire academy, they get more than they bargained for while trying to complete the course. With both of them wanting to be a firefighter and aware of each other, the flames will lick the edges of a hot romance. Add in intrigue and suspense, and the the flames will be fanning until the last page. The reader will need a hose on standby to put out the fire of Lacey and Payton's sexy coming together. A hot Hea for Lacey and Payton gives the reader the aha moment we all look for. I would like to thank the author for gifting me "Blaze". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.25 Stars!

There were a lot of typos and mistakes, which is always annoying. The most glaring mistake is stating that Nelson’s father, a firefighter who died on 9/11, had no life insurance so she grew up in near poverty. If the author had done her homework correctly she would know that there were two funds set up following 9/11 that would have taken care of the Nelson Family. Billions were given via the Congressionally-enacted Victims Compensation Fund and surviving family members of the fallen first responders also had access to the WTC Death Benefit Pension Fund. The is no reason for such a mistake concerning the most horrendous crime against this country in modern history. As recruit Nelson’s lack of funds is a basic premise of this story, I give it 2 stars.

Lacey and Payton have their own reasons for applying to Pemberton Fire Academy. Their first meeting is a little "racy". When they are assigned as partners, things really start to heat up between them. Guess it's a good thing they are at a school for firefighters! I really loved this story. Both Payton and Lacey were strong willed and determined to succeed. The date at the hot springs was too funny. Without giving away any spoilers, I will say that this story will make you laugh, cry and want to beat the crap out of one character.

Teagan Kade's book just keep getting better and better. This book is hands down my favorite. I know, I know, I say that about every book of hers, but it's the honest truth. Lacey and Payton are the ultimate couple. They are both driven to succeed, and both are quite taken by the other.

This is a sweet romance that had me sucked in from the very first page. I loved how it had a bit of suspense in it, and how the book ended. It was nice to see that a man didn't feel threatened to have a girl be a better leader. It was quite refreshing to see that.

As I said, this is hands down my favorite book by this author. I look forward to more books by this amazingly talented author.

Lacey’s dream is to be a Fire Fighter just like her Dad was, and when she is the only female in a class of alpha’s at the academy, she has her work cut out for her. Payton is determined to have Lacey, and they have an instant attraction. I loved the banter, which made this a fun read. This story is full of suspense, emotion, with twists, and is a passionate, sexy, and powerful storyline.
