This book had every opportunity to be the cliche good girl meets bad boy story, but the author writes this story so cleverly it is anything but. The characters could infuriate me but at the same time I was rooting for everyone to be happy and I was excited to see how they would end up. I can't even get into the twists in this book but if you decide to read it know you have some surprises ahead of you. Overall this book was funny, sweet, and very cleverly written I can't wait to read another book by Soliman.

Pretty good...different

The storyline is definitely not a cliche. It's about a good girl and the rich bad boy. It was sweet how they met at 10 years old but didn't became friends until at 17. Aiden was definitely a manwhore but he was sweet to Summer. Didn't like her boyfriend though. He was a douche. I liked how the writer focus on the relationship development between the two main. At 90%, something tragic happened that totally changed everything for Summer. This threw me off a little with the amnesia. The ending was a bit rushed. Overall, the author did a good job in making the characters relatable and showed their emotions instead of telling. If you want to read about two opposite couple and can overlooked the main heroine sexcapades before they got together, you might like this book. Not bad for a first book from this author.

Aiden Black doesn't know the meaning of rejection. He doesn't care either; it's never stopped him from getting what he wants. While owning a strip club at the age of fifteen may have its perks; it's hardened the boy in more ways than one. Neglected and almost always alone in his parent's mansion, Aiden finds his entertainment in other ways. Ways a preacher certainly would never approve of.

Conversely, to help out her mom with the piling bills, Summer Gray applied to as many jobs as she could. A hard-working girl with the personality of a bulldozer doesn't seem like the maid type, until she gets to work as a maid. Unknowingly, she's met with the biggest challenge of her life. The most arrogant, self-absorbed imbecile there ever was was now her new boss. And he would relish in that as much as he could. Well, as much as she would allow.

A girl in a committed relationship, strong-willed and working for the bombshell of a boss. But is Aiden really what he makes himself out to be? Is his repulsive reputation just a reputation?
