Poetas [Poets] is the fifth installment of the six-volume Inmersin [Immerse] Bible series. This volume presents the poetic books of the First Testament in two groupings, dividing the books between songs (Psalms, Lamentations, Song of Songs) and wisdom writings (Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Job). These writings all reflect the daily, down-to-earth faith of God's people as they live out their covenant relationship with him in worship and wise living.

The Inmersin series provides a new way to interact with God's Word because it delivers Scripture to the reader as it was originally created: without chapter or verse breaks. While references are available for ease of finding specific Scripture references, those references do not appear within the actual text of Scripture. This makes for uninterrupted reading of God's Word. The result is a Bible developed for being read and understood, not referred to. Created with the look and feel of a paperback book, and written using the text of the Nueva Traduccin Viviente, the most readable Spanish translation available, Poetas enables you to easily read and understand the biblical text.

I have really enjoyed reading the Immerse series. Not just because they remove verse breaks and have paragraphs like a noble but because I have enjoyed the New Living Translation of the text. Especially here in the poets. So many translations try to keep the old KJV “there” and “thous” that we all memorized that it makes it nearly unreadable at times. The NLT cuts right through that. Way enjoyable and a nice breath of fresh air to my Psalm reading. Highest recommendation

VERY RECOMMENDED FOR STUDY

Quite comprehensive and numberless (no chapter or verse numbers) study that leads the reader through the books of
Psalms, Lamentations, Song of Songs, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and concludes with the book of Job. This book is especially helpful because Before EACH book an authoritative description is given, historically speaking, about the happenings that were going on during that particular period.
Specifically, the WHAT was going on, WHY the book was written, TO WHOM the book was written to or for, as well as BY WHOM the book is believed to be written by. The FORM as well as MAJOR THEMES are also focused upon. IMMERSE: POETS is a very helpful resource for anyone who is not only just Reading but truly STUDYING the Bible. The New Living Translation of the Bible is used throughout. RECOMMENDED!!
