Pretty good book but I felt like the author could have made the characters a little more colorful. I absolutely loved Nyx. Read it in one day.

Where do I begin...The deep soul connection these two shared was unbelievable! I felt the chemistry dripping off the pages and felt as if I had a court side seat watching them. I loved that Rocco was so protective of Nyx and showed her what love with a real king looked like as for Nyx she was very in tune with her chakra and the energy that surrounded her and Rocco was more than heart felt. I'm in love with love and when a happy ending occurs after a slightly bumpy ride I'm always happy. The ending was decent and of course I still have questions surrounding Cassie and how her situation came to be but I'm sure Mrs. Love won't disappoint us..

I enjoyed this story, but some things are just a repeat of what was said a few pages back. I guess it was to make the story longer. All in all it was good

My my my!
I loved almost everything about this book. From the beginning with their nicknames for each other, to the passion they had for life. The whole "I lead and you follow" thing was everything. Because if we keep it real that was God plan for man and women. I am now a fan.
Really hope Cassie open her eyes and see Matt ready to love her crazy self.

I love a cute coffee shop romance and Coffee With a Side of You did not disappoint. I loved me some Nyx and Rocco. They complemented each other so well mentally and emotionally. Rocco just warmed my heart. I'd take a large cup of him any day! He was the whole package wrapped in a cute bow ready to be opened any day of the week. I love how matter of fact and honest Rocco was with Nyx from the very beginning. There were never any ulterior motives with him. I loved how in tune Rocco was with his feelings and emotions. He definitely was not afraid to express them. I loved the excerpts from Nyx's manifestation journal conveying her excitement when she realized Rocco was the man she prayed for and I loved Rocco's determination and Nyx's passion. I just love when black love is celebrated and when we can be the best version of ourselves with the right person. Coffee With a Side of You was a cute and sweet read. It makes me want to get started on my own manifestation journal ASAP.

I loved Rocco and Nyx story. I was glad that both of them were able to move from there pass and pursue the future with the love they could provide for one another. I love the man in Rocco for taking the responsibilities that Nyx had just to show her that he was the man that she needed in her life. On another note I would LOVE a spinoff with Cassie and Matt because I know its going to be good and interesting. Of course B. Love did a great job and can't wait for the next.

It was easy to visualize this story as I read page to page. The depth of each character was felt. I liked that it flowed just right as well. As for Cassie, i want to see a spinoff, and I hope that Matt is her hero.

A nice , calm love story...I love how Nyx and Rocco love each other. It is refreshing to read about a man who knows what he wants and plays no games about the woman he loves. I have also downloaded the spin-off from this book called "If He Loves Me (Entertainment District 2)". Looking forward to reading many more B. Love books after these!

Hmmmm...
This kept popping up in my recommendations, so I decided to go ahead and read it. It wasn't bad, but something was off for me. The storyline was good and the characters likable, but I didn't really connect with either. Cassie was the only character who really got a strong reaction from me: I alternated between feeling bad for her and wanting to shake her. Wish we could have met Rocco's grandparents to get a better feel for him.

An empowering and uplifiting book that reminds u that true love does exist and to listen to ur spirit when determining who u share ur heart with.. Follow ur passion and ur true heart, it will lead u in the right direction. Being vulnerable is scary but so worth it with the right man!

Great read
Watching Nyx go from guarded and closed off to open, trusting and in love was everything. I was glad she trusted Rocco enough to know her role and to allow him to lead her. They truly were the best part of each other.

Finding Love Through Walking in Purpose
This story is amazing! Rocco and Nyx personify how even after being off course from your purpose, that when you get back on course, good things happen. They were both able to heal and find love all by walking in their purpose. The purity of their souls was something that also aided in this. Another amazing story by B. Love!

Savoring The Moment
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS THIS BOOK!!!!!! This one here touched the inner part of me....my spirit! I cried and cried and cried! I thought there would never be a book that I adored more than Rule & Camryn, oh but B! So, for each category, these 2 are my number 1's. I loved everything about Nyx. That chick made me FEEL. Maybe because out of all of her characters this one is EXACTLY me! I felt every mood, every emotion, every reaction, every feeling. I was just an emotional being reading this book lol! This read was executed well! The lessons in this book were AMAZING! I was able to recognize that by me playing both roles (man & woman/mother & father) I am more in tune with my masculine side, but the feminine side of me is really crying out. Hell, it CRIED OUT! I loved how Rocco was patient with Nyx and how they both we're upfront about their needs and wants. Their communication was everything. Both were satisfied by pleasing each other. They stimulated one another. They were one another's strength and weakness. Rocco was the moth to Nyx's flame; the cock to her tail; the heart to her beat. See, now, im about to cry again. I love how her passion for her purpose birthed. I loved the evolution of it all. B. Love ALWAYS place positive influences on BLACK LOVE; the way its SUPPOSED to be. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It encouraged me, pushed me, and motivated me to dive into my purpose, my calling, all that God has planned for me. Speechless
B. Love, God uses you to speak to your readers in ways that they otherwise wouldn't be ablr to hear him. That spiritual side of Nyx did fueled my soul in ways that I cannot explain. Everytime I read your books, I self reflect and try to become a better me, as Nyx and Rocco promised to be. The part where Nxy talks about manifesting and speaking into existence the man and love that she desired yet not being ready and prepared to accept, receive, and give that love back took me back to my own situation. Praying for a man and love and then not be ready for it when it comes to you. I loved the push and pull of their relationship because it truly brought the best out of them in all aspects. I need an update and a spinoff of Matt and Cassie. My heart goes out to Cassie. I wish she could let go of that fool but we all know how that goes at times. I cherised every moment of this love story!! Another B. Love masterpiece!!

This book pulled at the heart strings cause I swear I related with Nyx on every level. Her pain, heartache, no longer having a real bellowed in deserving love because you've given so much to the wrong man/men, smh. Her mom was a piece of work, so many times during this book I cursed her out and really wanted to choke her. Was glad when granny shut her up.
Alex and Cassie were amazing friends. That Cassie, smdh cause ain't no way.
Rocco was just an amazing man who had to learn the hard way about appreciating a woman when she's yours. When he met Nyx although business led him to her, finding her Journal and reading it caused his heart to lead when he approached her. He was so patient with her, open, honest, and vulnerable. He was a man's man in every way and knew how to lead and take direction when needed.

More coffee please
Nyx and Rico's relationship gave me whiplash, one minute they hated each other and then next minute they were soul mates. I think its safe to say maybe there could have been more development here. Rocco also was written as a alpha for example he tells NYC let him lead 😐 On page the author has Nyx talk through her feminine and masculine energy as a way to resolve this dynamic but I can't say it worked for me. But I do think there was a good conversation of how past relationships can create dating anxiety if you aren't careful. Also praise the goddess for Nyx's grandmother because her mom seemed miserable. Alex and Cassie were complicated friends but balanced each other out.
Why the change in cover? Also I couldn't get over Rocco reading Nyx's diary, it felt like a huge violation.
CN: domestic violence, parental death, cheating, heavy focus on hetero normative gender roles, financial insecurities.

As usual when I read a b love book I have to put it down, and pick it up so many times. Partly Because my feelings get invested and partly because I need it to go by slowly. I feel every word and emotion this book hit especially close to home in more ways then one. I was Cassie for so long because love or what I thought of love had such a hold on my heart mixed with not ever wanting to be alone an feel lonely ness. My ex always told me no one would ever love me after him.... because I was broken. Recently I became nyx well Nyx in the beginning of this book..... after reading I have hope that my life will turn around, I will find someone to love me for me. Thank you B for another amazing story. And thank you for helping me on my way to healthy relationships and healing. Even if you wast aware of what I needed. Thank you

Whew!!! What an exceptional read!
Two battered souls looking for love that transcends beyond this realm. What more can you ask for? I loved Nyx and Rocco. They complemented each other so well to the point that they were in sync with each other both mentally and emotionally. Rocco just made my heart sing...He is the whole package wrapped in a cute bow ready to be opened. I mean, he just did it for me. And Nyx is a goddess. I most definitely want to see a spin off of the supporting characters, Matt and Cassie as well as Alex and his wife. I believe Matt is good for Cassie. She just needs to realize her self-worth. This is recommended book for not only single people but married people as well. I love when Black Love is celebrated and when we can realize that we can be the bet version of ourselves with the right person. Kudos, B! I'm ready for the next book. 😘

It's Another Awesome Read!!!
I thoroughly love reading Author B love books. Her writing skills are awesome. She always put so many valuable gems and life lessons in her stories. This book about Rocco and Nyx is no different when it comes to the life lessons and gems that you can take away from it. The characters to me were well written. Even though Nyx stated that Rocco was a lot like her father his story turn out much more positive and I like that. I do hope to hear more about Cassie and Matt because I feel their store line was a deep one just the little time they were in this book. One thing we can count on when it come to B Love is always giving us quality 5 star books. She is always elevating her skills to new heights. I can't wait to the next one. Keep up the great work!!!

What I loved about this book was the fact the Rocco had an ulterior motive as all men seem to, however he turned his around. He turned it into growing Nyx, loving Nyx, encouraging and promoting Nyx. Do you know how good it feels to finally be able to relax your shoulders when the world is on your back because you know your man got you? I don't either lol but it was refreshing. I hated him in the beginning for trying to take her business away and I loved her strength for not giving in. Generational wealth, women owned small businesses, entrepreneurship, real estate in the black community! Please continue to teach us B. Love. Please continue to inspire us all and show us that we can have dreams, goals and love. We can have it all if we really want it. Nyx is a superwoman. This book woke me up! Job well done B. Love.

Nyx Fifer is a people pleaser…she lives to fulfill everybody’s dreams while her’s are on the backburner. Nyx’s boyfriend left her in a pinch with all the luxuries that he craved and she struggles with these obligations as well as the family coffee shop. Rocco Tate is a real estate developer and his company has purchased properties surrounding the coffee shop which has now become the focus of their attention.
Coffee With A Side Of You was an easy read complete with life and its’ choices. There were no ‘WOW’ moments, just a smooth flow of a strong man building up a strong woman that has been torn down with insecurities as she strives to please those she loves. I love B. Love’s signature style as she is consistently incorporating the fact that the characters are Believers. So loving her signature stamp!

So deep in my feelings
When I tell you this book is dope I mean just that. Its not often that I find myself emotionally connected to the female character but Nyx gave me life. I saw a lot of me in her. The hardest heart is also the softest when thawed. That Rocco... Let me tell you my submissive spirit was throwing itself at the beautiful dominate black man. ( talk about a monsoon) This novel gave me hope that I can't even begin to explain. Black love and self love when used properly & given so freely is AMAZING damn near intellectually orgasmic. My mind is blown by the artistry and the growth of B. Love & her works of art. B I'm not rushing you or anything but can a sister get an update lol If I could give more stars I would. #blovestanning

What a wonderful story
Nyx and Rocco found one another at what each thought was the wrong time but they were wrong. The timing turned out to be prefect. I loved how their relationship just blossomed and they let nothing come between them, not even their "businesses". As I neared the books ending I began wondering what would become of Alex, Andrea, Matt and Cassie. When I did reach the ending, I read your "Acknowledgments" and saw your inquiry to your readers about additional books on the supporting characters, that would be a yes from me. Please and Thank You. When time permits. ALL of them, especially Cassie and Matt. At the books end I didn't like wondering what would be this young woman's fate. Will be on the look out.

From a take over to a forever thang!
Rocco had one thing in mind the day he ran into Nyx and that was to buy out her business but the stars were aligned for love! I really loved this story, how he became just what she wanted and she became just what he needed! B. Love knows how to weave a story together, add, God, Love and redemption in the mix and make it all come together. Poor Samantha, she didn't realize they were not meant to be. Cassie will have to come to the realization that she's better than the way she lets men treat her and Quentin is not the man for her! Looking forward to Cassie and Matt's story. My only complaint, editing needed, a lot of grammatical errors but a great read!

A side of Rocco & Nyx
I absolutely loved this book. I loved how Nyx learned that when we don't follow God's plan it has us doing things we have no business doing. Making soul ties with those that aren't our soul mates. Our plans will have us settling instead of waiting on the one God picked just for us. Rocco was the epitome of a strong black man who had some trust issues but with the help and love of the right woman he was able to overcome those issues and find true love. I would love to see Matt and Cassie have their own story. I think theirs is a love story waiting to happen. Great job B. Love!!!

"Let me have it, Nyx"
Man that quote did something to me when I read it. First, well done, awesome read as always. Nyx (I love her name) was like a lot of us women, looking for love in the wrong places. Trying to turn someone into what you envision your perfect partner to be, I definitely can relate. Wanting to stick it out with someone who you've invested all this time in, been there done that. But having the courage to let it go, find your worth as an individual, priceless. Rocco, from that first smirk, I knew he was the one to turn Nyx's world upside down! He did not disappoint. I need to get started on this manifestation journal asap!!!
