Harris Rules : Your No-BS Practical Step By Step Guide to Finally Become Rich and Free

Rate this book
It's the question every agent asks, but few have a truthful answer Where does business come from? In an industry constantly selling the 'easy button' and overrun with shiny widgets, agents are pulled in multiple directions at once, each promising if they "just do this" that their dreams of real estate fortune will come true. After 20 years in the business and hundreds of thousands of coaching calls, Tim & Julie tell the hard truths about what it really takes to make it in real estate.

Harris Rules outlines specific, proven rules of engagement that any agent - rookie or veteran - can count on to serve them well as they pursue their real-estate funded goals and dreams. Harris Rules lays the groundwork, beginning with how agents need to think about the business. Moving them forward with a step by step action plan, Tim & Julie show agents how to create longevity by scaling the business and then teach them how to monetize it.

In this book you'll learn...
- How to control your mindset to get more things done, even when you don't 'feel' like it.
- Why balance is a myth and how you should stop aiming for it!
- How the Scarcity mindset is affecting everything you do and the rules to break free.
- The ideal schedule of a top producing agent and how to focus it on what matters...profit!
- Why you can't rely on only one method of generating leads if you want to avoid feast or famine.
- How to find your 'Magic Number' and how knowing it is critical for success.
- How to use our proven 7 Step Listing Process to win the listing virtually every time!
- How to really achieve financial freedom (and it won't be from your real estate commissions)!

And there is so much more!

Only for the highly motivated, Harris Rules covers topics no one else in the industry is willing to talk making a profit, why having a team isn't the 'golden calf', having multiple lead sources (that you don't have to pay for!), focusing on listings and the fact that repetitious boredom does pay off!

Amazing!

This book is the best book I’ve read so far for real estate agents! Tim and Julie give a completely different perspective than most real estate coaches. The information they provide in the book really made me look at my business in a way that I actually never considered. They covered ALL aspects of the business and shed light on practical principles that every real estate professional should follow if they desire a successful and sustainable business.

Kapow!

Seriously! Just do it! I've been listening to Tim and Julie's podcast since I got my license almost a year ago,and I know it's why I came roaring into this career change as a listing agent. This book contains their best practices and advice in an easy to read (and reference!) format. Super practical without the coddling, I love these guys. These so much room for growth in my business and I'm excited to put more T&J practices into play!

Actionable Rules

This set of rules lives up to the “No-BS” in the title. Actionable, focused and challenging, these rules will help ensure success for the agent, broker or almost any sales professional - in or out of real estate. It sets up as a light pitch for their coaching services, but that’s fine. There’s a ton of great stuff in here.

This book is for real estate agents, but I found some of it helpful for consulting.

"After years of coaching agents and other businesspeople, one thing we've learned is that you must bridge the motivation gap in your thinking. You must learn to take your personal, internal motivation as seriously as if it were the external kind. This is a mindset leap. It's also a sign of mental, emotional, and financial maturity. Not making the leap is an act of ego, of resistance to structure, discipline, and accountability" (12).

"The better you are at proving the highest level of service, the more people you can help. The more you help them, the more you make. Concentrate more on how you make your prospects and clients feel and less on how the process makes you feel" (44).
