USA Today™ best-selling author Elizabeth Lennox writes contemporary romance novels featuring sheiks, business tycoons, royalty, and other sexy rich men. Her male lead characters are smart, driven and determined, but can still be sensitive and vulnerable. Elizabeth’s female lead characters come from a variety of backgrounds. They are strong, intelligent and independent, while still feminine and caring.

Along the way, she received a BS in History and held different jobs in the real estate, government consulting, and financial industries. All during that time, though, she was always writing, using her personal experiences, dreams, and travels throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean as backdrops for her stories. To date, she has written over eighty books and sold over 5.1 million copies. Her free novellas have been downloaded over 8 million times since 2013.

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.

"The Russian's Dangerous Game" is the story of Brianna and Rocco.

Our heroine is a budding newspaper reporter, who decides to track down the hero, an elusive billionaire for some scoop. Instead, she finds herself struck by attraction, and the hero soon seduces her into his bed. Then there's some running away, chase, more lovemaking, kidnappings, heartfelt confessions and a super sweet ending!

Enjoyed it, especially the epilogue.

I got 75% through the book and I just couldn't finish it. I did like the story in the beginning, but I felt that it was really cliche and a little too short. I'm going to try another book by this author to see if this book was just a fluke

Excellent complex read.

Part of me understands her sense of betrayal, and part if me thinks she's an idiot. Of course, her reaction confirmed that she wasn't after HIS money, only her own and how to earn it.

Can you imagine how hard it was for Emerson to only show her his ruthless side, when he actually had a much softer side. How could she not see that he was just as much 'Jack' as he was Emerson?

He took a chance on losing what he desperately needed; her. By giving her what she thought she wanted. Intricate, multi-layered with mysterious depths. I LOVED Emerson, but then we can see the Jack in him, and she can't.

Even after she admits to herself that being powerful in his world was not making her happy, she still fought her need for 'Jack'. Intriguing challenges... A very good read.

had a hard time finishing this book. the story felt rushed - they met, had sex, she started working for emerson/jack, hated her job, went back to maine to experience quiet life, then marriage, then fast forward lots of kids. there was no meat to their relationship & definitely no chemistry. i hated rachel, she was shallow & all she ever thought about was emerson's/jack's abs. as for emerson/jack - i don't know why he lied to rachel in the first place.

The Billionaire's Masquerade...

The first book in the Friendship series. It was a delightful read. Emerson aka Jack is a filthy rich guy and Rachel needs h u s business smarts to further her career. On this crazy road to ambition is filled with sex, drama and white lies. Funny at times. And definitely angsty.

A Lesson In Disguise

This book made me believe in love and great men again.

The Hero respected the Heroine and he wants and wishes so much, but he knew better. Instead of browbeating or being overbearing he just showed her the life she that she wanted and the life she could have and really wanted and needed.

You will not be able to put this one down!!

Not the usual sexiness

The heroin wasn’t as sexy and sensuous as Ms Lennox’s usual female characters. Usually I can’t put these books down but, I just couldn’t get into it like I usually do.

Esta autora tiene mejores libros, en esta historia se unen los más populares clichés pero nada bien llevados, es una historia rápida y fugaz

Everything was clear from the beginning so no surprises. The guy was a catch though. So yeah, good enough to keep me hooked till the end.

This is my first book from the author and the primary reason why I chose to read this one is because of my reading challenge asking me to read a book that features a bilingual or that speaks with an accent. And while the title may help me select this one, I made sure that it would fit the said challenge. Sadly (and for the life of me, I still can't figure out why, after all my checking!), I am not sure if this was the right choice as I can neither see nor feel while reading if our hero, despite bearing a Russian name and even said so himself that he is one, is written as one if you know what I am saying! Even his head of security, who at one time spoke to someone over the phone in a foreign language, seems American to me, with his name and all. And while I find nothing wrong with her writing and narrating style and even how she plotted this story, I cannot feel so much the chemistry between our hero and heroine, albeit the insta-love aspect and the sexy, erotic parts. I also would like to add that like our hero, I also find the heroine to be something out of the ordinary. She has this sort of front that she displays herself to be naive somewhat but then her honesty and silent intellect makes her endearing and it is one of the redeeming points of this book. And let's also not forget the epilogue. It was cute and sweet. All in all, it was an okay read but I am just a bit disappointed to myself that it took me long to finish this short novel. I am not sure if I will continue on with the series but what I am sure of is that I will put it on my radar.

im starting to have a sense of humour abou these books. in my mind, if i imagine the author wrote the book sarcastically, it's much more palatable. im amazed by what qualifies as a smart woman in this story. the male practically spoon feeds the chick and she says 'duuuuh....', then he pats her on her head and calls her beautiful THEN smart. lol. if you read the book you can probably relate her to parents who pat their toddlers' heads and praise them if they put the shapes in correctly. it's absolutely patronizing when it's a woman. why does the heroine have to be dumb to satisfy the male's ego? and what is so damned cute about stupid?t me this is just lazy story telling. the writer doesn’t even care to think about the plot or the characters so why should we care to read? what is saddest is when you realize how many uneducated people are reading this stuff and can't tell it apart from quality writing.

The friendship series: Brianna's and Rocco's story

The friendship series: Brianna's and Rocco's story

Loved it, but find these series of stories short. Could have been further developed. The author does get her stories out quickly. Many are a little longer and I enjoy them more. I will continue looking forward to reading more of her work.
Brianna is funny, sweet and courageous. Rocco is powerful, rich, captivating and used to getting what he wants. Both have secrets. There attraction to each other is powerful and quick. As they get to spend time together, Rocco can't help but leave behind the idea of a quick affair to continue his playboy ways. He bows to keep her safe and is surprised by her quick intelligence and courage. She can keep both of them safe.
I always enjoy epilogues and truly loved this story's. Looking forward to Nikki's story.

Life in.the school of hard knocks...

Life in.the school of hard knocks...

Some people are just to focused on superfluous goals to realize what they really want when it is right in front of them. Once.they realize their true heart's desire, they are too stubborn to admit it. This is a fascinating take on the school of hard knocks and getting your heart's desire. Nicely done Elizabeth!

Great story. Our heroine accidentally met our billionaire hero while he was doing some work on a cottage he owns near his huge mansion. He is really attracted to her, but doesn't tell her who he really is. They date for a while before he shows her the truth.
I felt like we had a good understanding of why the heroine was very concerns to achieve financial success, but I loved the way the hero showed her that there are things in life even more important.

Very good story

I really liked this book a lot. The only part that was hard to get through was the part where Rachel finally gets what she wants. Her misery is a little tedious to read about but it was essential to the story. I was a little frustrated with her obstinate attitude toward her relationship with Jack and her belief that money and financial security are more important than anything else but overall it was a great story that i have read again and again.

Nice love story. Ambitious Rachel meets hot billionaire who was actually sick and tired of living in the fast lane of Wall St. I felt so sorry for Rachel and hated Emerson for awhile in the story especially for his deception and giving Rachel a hard time. But in the end, everything came together beautifully.

The Russian's Dangerous Game...

The second book in the Friendship series. A fantastic read. Definitely better than book one. This is Rocco and Bri story. It's sexy, dramatic and at times funny. The path to their love is filled with misunderstandings and sexual tension. Onto the next book.

Great book!

I loved this book. It is another great HEA story from Elizabeth Lennox. I loved the sense of danger at the end and I loved the humor she was able to inject at even the most suspenseful part of the book. I have read all of her books and this is one of my favorites.

I liked that Jack/Emerson was able to show that he was not the man that everyone made him out to be!
