Four weeks to find a wife. No obligations. No naughty business. Just six months of marriage and I’m gone. And then I find out she's never been f*cked. Challenge accepted. Holly and Tara always give you a Happy Ever After, they hate cheating with a passion, and cliffhangers just as much as you do!
Could you marry on a dare? Lucas is handsome, arrogant prince and has never backed down from a dare. After royally screwing up at the last Olympics (pun intended) and messing around with his competitors wife, he has a lot to prove. The family agrees its high time he settled down and when his cousin dares him to find a wife in 30 days or give up his beautiful villa in France, its something just can't back down from. And in walks Alexis, a woman that his mother, the queen, has hired to value some antiques countries antiques. An American, with a respectable reputation, she never thought that she would be caught up in a marriage, let alone to royalty, but since she signed a contact, there isn't much of a choice. Can this scam not only last through the scrutiny of the press, but will they make it until the agreed time? When I first began reading this, I was not thrilled. The storyline sounded cheesy and not even remotely possible! But I absolutely loved this book! You can't ask for more than romance, a prince, antiques, jealousy and of a pretty good chance of a happily ever after! Alexis with her silly jokes gave me such a little giggle and I loved her quirky fun personality mixed with a little seriousness. And of course her determination to soften up a prince. A light romance story with a bit of a twist made this a nice and very enjoyable read. I would most definitely recommend this book, a five star read!
The story of Lucas and Alexis...Lucas is a prince and makes a bet to marry within 30 days or he has to share his villa. Alexis is there to appraise the antiques I the castle and there first encounter is quite humorous and Alexis tends to tell bad jokes when she's anxious. Next thing you know he's proposing to her on the last day of his bet. Of course Alexis knows all about the bet as does his family which I found enjoyable as it wasn't the secret hanging over them. As they get to know each other and shared moments, she falls deeper for him. Unfortunately there are some people who want to see her fail and set her up. Will Lucas believe her or what the evidence suggests? A great read with steamy scenes and I really did enjoy these two, Lucas may have been a playboy but it wasn't flaunted and has real reason as to why he doesn't trust or fall in love. Alexis was hilarious with her childish jokes but blossomed when she was with Lucas. I also enjoyed his family, they weren't pretentious or snobby, accepted everyone, they all truly got along, he respected his parents and sister (very refreshing) and the Queen had no qualms of smacking her son upside the head when necessary. Loved it !! *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*

Well the story was interesting. I struggled through it though. There was a disclaimer in the beginning that it wasn't the final version. All errors were be corrected before publication. Well there were so many errors that it was crazy and it did distract from the story. It was hilarious the run on sentences, the incomplete sentences, wrong words like color instead of collar, camera's (belong to) instead of cameras (meaning multiple) and quotation marks in the wrong spot. Now I'm not the grammar police, but if you want people to read and review your book at least make the semi-ready to be read.
I would give this a 2 star review as it was difficult to read. This short story should have been read in a couple of hours but I had to put it down as I was disappointed and disgusted with all of it's errors. Plus trying to figure out what the author really meant to say was exhausting. The plot of the story was a good one though so I increased to a third star. I really hope all the errors were corrected and readers can actually understand the plot.
What are you going to do when the idea of appraising the valuable pieces, means you have the opportunity of appraising the Prince too? Why not go for it? When Alexis takes her friend and partners place to appraise antique items for the Queen, her wacky/ awkwardness does not go unnoticed by the Playboy heir to the throne Lucus. What she went for ended up becoming something else entirely. We are talking museums here! Now, she is stuck working with the Prince- one who made a foolish bet he could marry and stay married for a certain amount of time, his time frame to find such a women was running out- he had his sights set on Alexis! Bet or not this whirl wind adventure brings out the best in them eventually.. will they want to stay in together in the end? I love me some royaled up tales! This suspenseful, hotness, with sweet and humorous twists, was just the right amount of everything to satisfy my guilty reading pleasures! This Duo did a fantastic job with this one! I cannot wait for more! I voluntarily read an advance readers copy of this book

This book was co-written by two great romance writers, Holly Hart and Tara Wylde. They didn't disappoint with this book. A royal romance that was fun and entertaining to read. Prince Lucas is an independent man who is gorgeous but not married. He hasn't found anyone that he wants to be around more than a few days. Enter Alexis, an American antiques expert hired by his mother, the Queen. Alexis has no interest in Lucas and is not familiar with Royal protocol. There's a dare from his cousin and he has to find a bride with 30 days. Lots of drama, suspense, stolen rare items, chemistry and a wedding. Cute book to read with lots of humor. I absolutely LOVED this book! Alexis was so adorable with her cheesy jokes and awkwardness. You can't help but love her. Lucas, while hot, kind of ticked me off with his callous attitude toward marriage. Trust me, he definitely grows on you. I loved how the more Alexis and Lucas spent time together, the more they wanted/needed each other's company. It felt like they needed each other to finally find themselves. There were some LOL moments, some that made me angry, others that made me tear up, and definitely some sexy scenes. This was a very enjoyable, entertaining read. 4* Lucas is royalty & has just been dared by his cousin rodderick to be married before the Olympic Games fencing competition. Not one to back down he accepts the dare! Alexis has been sent to appraise some valuables for the royals her first impression of the prince Lucas is he's hot but so rude! Can their mutual attraction overcome the personality clash? He finds it hard to trust & she trusts to easily. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Dare accepted!
Sweet royal romance between Lucas and Alexis. He has been dared by his cousin to marry before his next tournament, she is being hired by his mother the Queen to help build a museum. She's convenient, beautiful, he's sexy, rich and cocky. Can two people who are so different come together as one? It's a well written story with characters that are likable. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
This was such a fun book to read, it was fast paced with an enjoyable story line. Alexis was a very likable character the type you want to find that happy ending. I didn't find Prince Lucas nearly as likable or lovable, that made this a good love story. A mystery is woven through the book that brings a dramatic ending. I would recommend this book if you like a HOT romance with a touch of humor and mystery.
While I enjoyed the story itself i found myself distracted by frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that had me reading a sentence several times over or skipping past. Most probably won't notice but it have me a first impression of rushed writing and lack of attention that didn't get changed until the later chapters . I did enjoy it as a whole, just found the errors frustrating
Dare Me was such a great, fun read! Alexis and Lucas have great chemistry, the storyline was interesting and I did not want to put this book down. I received an ARC copy for an honest review. Great story. And time a hot prince is involved you know it's going to be good. Bad jokes, drama and love make an interesting story line. I really liked the end. Two thumbs up.
