After years of being trapped in an abusive relationship, the only thing I look forward to is caring for the children on my ward.
Still, I can’t help but think I deserve better. Jerry treats me like crap and his behavior is getting worse every day.
I need an opportunity to get away from him, need a chance to make a better life for myself.

He’s the hottest guy I’ve ever seen, pure dominance in a suit with the face of a prince and a smile that makes my stomach flutter.
When his daughter, Sophie is rushed into hospital they know they need the best nurse to care for her. That’s why they pick me.
It’s not long until Sophie and I are pals but Leon and I are getting closer too and I can’t help but notice the way he looks at me.
When it’s time for Sophie to go home, he struggles with the idea of returning to work while looking after her. It’s then that he comes up with an idea.
I should move in with him as Sophie’s nanny!
But things aren’t so straight forward…
I’m falling in love fast but why would he ever want me? I’m just an ordinary girl who loves to read comics and write poetry.
Meanwhile, he finds it impossible to trust women when all they want is his money.

When Kelley gets the opportunity to become the Nanny for one of her patients she takes its as the sign it is to finally change her life and leave Jerry behind where he belongs. Single Hot Daddy by Kayla White a sublime five-star read. Oh my goodness Sophie’s daddy is hot, and he’s very, very single. The problems start when she gets sick and ends up in the hospital, Sophie doesn’t like many women but she sure does like Kelley her nurse at the hospital, the problem is so does her dad. Kayla White has managed to write a will they won’t they with two amazing characters they both have their own problems and are too scared to open up about them. The problems start when they don’t open up to each other and they forget not only will they hurt each other but they will hurt a little girl called Sophie as well. Sophie was my favourite character in this book, she is a great kid with an old soul. Sophie is one of the best kids I have ever read. Kayla White you have done it again and written a great story that I wasn’t able to put down. Keep up the good work and get writing!!
Leon is a billionaire and he loves his daughter, Sophie, with all his heart. Nothing and no-one is going to get in the way of it! During a meeting, he receives a phone call to say Sophie has been rushed to hospital. He rushes to her bedside and refuses to leave, until his daughter finally kicks him out! There, he meets the lovely nurse taking care of Sophie. Sophie takes an instant liking to her and they get on well, like they've been best friends for ever. Kelley is in an abusive relationship with Jerry. She can't seem to find a way to get out. That is, until she forms a bond with Sophie, who wants her come home with her. Kelley falls in love with Sophie. She loves her like she's her own. So, naturally, Leon asks her to become Sophie's nanny. Which she turns down at first but changes her mind after Jerry rages on again at her. She takes care of Sophie but her relationship with Leon starts to change but it's filled with suspicion, fear, love, lust! Leon is afraid she's just like his ex wife and she fears she's not good enough for him. I really liked this book. It was quickly paced and filled with a lot of tension. I liked how perceptive Sophie was for a 10 year old. I loved how she trusted Kelley even after she left the 1st time. I could understand why Leon felt the way he did but I also don't think Kelley should have forgiven him as quickly as she did. She should have made him grovel a little longer. He said some really horrible things to her. I understood Kelley's reluctance to believe when Leon told her she was beautiful but underneath it all they were perfect for each other. They both helped to heal each others wounds from past experiences.
I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an advanced copy!
I just love Kayla White 's writing and once again this book rocks ... I received this ARC voluntarily for and honest review .. the dynamics between Leon and Kelley is crazy good . Yes Leon has issues but the one thing they agree on is Kelley is perfect to help Sophie get better and that is what counts most . His daughter was his life . But he never thought he would fall for Kelley after his past he keep women at bay ... look forward to reading more books
This is my first book by Kayla White and I love it. This book is filled with love and dedication that two people feel for one child and a wonderful romantic relationship blooms from there. Everyone needs to read this one, you won't be disappointed.
A sweet read that shows the difficultly in a relationship. Leon has trust issues and Kelley is freashly out of an abusive relationship. Kelley and Leon are beautiful together and once overcome their obstacles.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the 1st book I read by Kayla White. This book's story line was okay. I liked the hot & steamy scenes. I liked Sophie & the scenes with Sophie. I'm sorry Kelley & Blake got on my nerves, they acted more like kids than Sophie.
An amazing book. It got it all. It was so well written it was exciting all trough the book and it was sweet, hot and so romantic. I had a great time reading it and I couldn't put it away
A sweet billionaire second chance romance. Leon is a single dad whose daughter, Sophie, becomes attached to her nurse so he decides to make Kelly the new nanny. The story line was good but I had a hard time keeping up. I felt as if the story was rushed.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book 4stars! Kayla White had done it again! I loved Daddy Single Hot so much I couldn't put it down I loved the story loved Leon and Kelley and especially loved Sophie, both Leon and Kelley had some major mountains to climb to get over their insecurities and I think together they can conquer those better than if they dealt with them alone! Another Hit Kayla can't wait to read more!
Leon Blake is the such a good father. I love how much he personally takes care of his daughter, Sophie. Kelley, the compassionate nurse who cares for Sophie in the hospital is a credit to her profession. The three of them just click and have a very easy relationship and Kelley becomes one of Sophie's favorite people. Kelley accepts Leon's offer to be Sophie's live-in nanny after a very difficult and abusive interaction with her live-in boyfriend Jerry.
After about a month, Leon and Kelley reveal a mutual attraction. This is the point in the story where I feel a complete disconnect and think I'm reading a romance about two different people. Kelley becomes irrational, suspicious and jealous, accusing Leon of being with random women and calling him relentlessly. Leon never gives any reason for suspicion. He admits he is too busy with work and Sophie that he hadn't been with a woman in a while. Kelley had lived in his house for several weeks and is privy to his schedule to know his hours and habits. Also, she never displayed these traits with Jerry, even when she had her doubts about their status of their relationship. Leon, in turn, becomes paranoid, starts yelling and gets drunk to the point of being mean and cruel. I didn't care for the abrupt changes in their personalities and the obvious mistrust they each exhibit. I thought Kelley's character couldn't get any worse until she calls Leon and begs to come back "just as friends" even though she loves him. She became pathetic and it was awkward.
Generally, I liked the story especially the build up to Leon and Kelley's official relationship. Sophie is a great child character that is really the glue of the story.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The overall story line is really good; I just wish the details had been a little more smoothly executed. Kelley is a nice girl, an RN in a hospital, who meets Leon when she's the nurse assigned to his daughter's care. Kelley and Sophie hit it off immediately and their relationship was nicely done. Kelley's boyfriend is a one-dimensional loser who is just steps away from becoming outright abusive. Even so, Kelley is momentarily reluctant to leave him behind and take Leon up on his offer to be Sophie's live-in nurse/nanny. But of course she does, and the story then follows her budding relationships with Leon and Sophie. There was a lot to like in this book and it held my attention throughout, but there were a few emotionally-charged scenes that seemed to border on histrionics and didn't feel true to the characters. It has a satisfying HEA and the depth of emotions was beautifully portrayed. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is the third book I've read by Kayla White. I didn't connect with the characters as much as I did in her past books. Kelley is hired to care for a billionaire's daughter. The billionaire, Leon Blake, first comes across as a doting father and brilliant businessman. I was extremely put off when both characters acted out of sorts - starting with Kelley's constant suspicions as to where Leon was and Leon's drunken rage.
You're gifted with a sweet HEA and I easily read this book in one sitting. If you want a fast-paced book with the right amount of drama and suspense, this book is for you!
*** ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
This is the third book of Kayla White's I've read and if I'm honest it's my least favourite.
The storyline just didn't ring true for me and the characters weren't as likeable as they should be meaning I found it really hard to connect to either of them. Both Kelley and Leon seemed to act completely out of character mid-way through the book and this just didn't really make sense based on what had gone before.
Having said that there were elements of the story I enjoyed and having read Kayla's previous work I would definitely read her next book in the hope that this one was a bit of a blip!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book The book began really interesting, but later it became annoying. It is sad, but this book was not for me. I didn't like it. The characters were immature, especially when they had sex for the first time. After this night Kelley started to get clingy and annoyed like they were already a couple. Their arguments were childlish and from this moment I just couldn't read. It was frustrating, because the plot was interesting, but not expanded in a good way.

I enjoyed this book of a single dad billionaire and the nurse who was looking after his sick daughter. There was misunderstanding in their love affair that made me think come on! But all in all I found myself rooting for these two and I'm looking forward to reading the next one. I read an ARC provided by the author and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.
Leon, a billionaire hires Kelley, a nurse to be his daughter's live in nanny after she has scarlet fever. Their on again, off again romance had a lot of misunderstandings and sadness. The book had time line issues and a few typos.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy provide by the author.
3.5 STARS. I have mixed feelings about this book. I did enjoy parts of this book but all the back and forth between Kelly and Leon was a bit tedious. Sophie was my favorite character.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I give Single Hot Daddy 5 stars for peeking my curiosity and keeping it peeked to the end. I hated that she had to endure her abusive ex, I loved her relationship with Sophie, I hurt for her when Leon was having his meltdown, but most of all I felt happy to see them all bond together.
Kayla White is a new author to me, but this won't be the last book I read of hers. She spins a tale with a flow that is seamless. She's very descriptive, her characters were interesting, and the plot was very good.
Leon meets Kelley when she is the nurse assigned to take care of his Sophie. She will be in to give Sophie her meds, and to take her vitals every fifteen minutes to make sure all is well. Once Sophie begins to feel a bit better, she begins to grow attached to Kelley. When she is released from the hospital, Leon offers Kelley a position as Sophie's nanny. Does she leave the hospital?
Leon Blake is a billionaire with a software firm and a young daughter, Sophie. His ex, Sophie's mother, left immediately after she was born because she wanted someone with more money. Little did she know he'd become a billionaire. He dotes on Sophie hand and foot, so when her school called to say she was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, he was on his way before the phone call ended. What is wrong with her?
Kelley is fed up of being treated like crap by her long term boyfriend. She looks forward to going to her job every day so she can take care of the kids on her ward and get away from him. He's been getting more abusive every day. She deserves better than this and needs a way out, a chance to make a better life. Will she get her chance?
Single Hot Daddy is a contemporary romance novella that is filled with passion. It speaks of abuse, abandonment, and fears. It also speaks of love; love of self, love of others, and passionate love.

There are a few misspellings, wrong words used, and grammar mistakes but not so many that it was distracting. There is quite a bit of arguing and angst in this story, and up and down emotions between Leo and Kelly but it's a Great story! Highly recommend!
A lot is going on in the worlds of Leon the very untrusting soul, his too smart for her own good with a mouth to prove it daughter Sophie and Kelley an intelligent woman with insecurities a plenty looking for love in all the wrong places. When Leon's daughter becomes seriously Ill, he won't leave her hospital bedside. Kelley brightens up the room when she walks in to take care of Sophie; he cannot help but notice everything about her. Sophie quickly becomes attached to Kelley, wanting her to come home with her to keep receiving care. Leon makes her an offer she cannot refuse, plus- he is helping to get her out of an unhealthy situation. Bonds between all 3 of them become stronger, some more intense- but those past demons keep coming back interjecting into their happy times, getting past it all maybe too much for them both.
I loved the storyline, gritty with an angsty, emotional theme, yet a sweet feel here & there. I have to say I haven't had a book in awhile that BOTH the main character's actions had me wanting to pull out my hair and smack my forehead! There is a whole lot of past demon chasing, insecurities flying high, outright anger and mistrust going on between the two, who take their sweet time getting their mess figured out. That being said- some how some way- I was sucked into this mess of reckless emotional mayhem that had me all up in arms I kept my nose in my Kindle swiping those pages, curiously wondering how in the world they were going to work themselves out and be together!
I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. At some point its frustrating, you realise that those things are just in the outside world of books to. It's not always about flowers and kisses. The caracters are quite perfect, they just struggle like us, physicaly, emotionaly... They have their own baggages, their pasts , that they have to put aside in order to move on and be happy again. So..... her goes to story and I won't spill the beans, not mutch spoiler :) Leon wants nothing more than cuddle and treat his daughter Sophie like a princess. Giving everything to his daughter to make her happy. Having trust issue and think that every women is the same like his ex wife (greedy and after his money). Kelley is sophie's nurse and they grow quite close, bonding over comic books. And when Leon asks her to be Sophie's nanny 24/7, he gives Kelley the perfect opportunity of getting out of an abusive relationship with her boyfriend Jerry, a fresh start in life. However they cross the friendship line things get messy. Kelley is the first serious relationship after his ex wife and he barely knows how to deal with it . Leon's mistrusts & paranoide side keeps him thinking that Kelley is just after his money and Kelley who also happens to be insecured & paranoid, thinking less of herself because of Jerry. So they don't no better than to push eachother away. Can she prove him wrong, make him see she only wants his love? Could really this work between them or not !!?
***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***I couldn't put it down. A very good read. Leon Blake is a billionaire whose wife has left him before he made his money, leaving him to take care of their daughter, Sophie. He now feels women only want him for what he can give them. Sophie gets ill at school and is rushed to the hospital. She has Scarlet Fever. While she there she is taken care of by nurse Kelley. For three days Leon stays with his daughter as she fights her illness. On the third day, she starts to come around and tells her dad to go home, Kelley will take care of her. When released, she wants Kelley to go home with her. When Leon goes to Kelley's home to ask her to take care of Sophie he is witness to her boyfriend, Jerry, as he curses her and pushes her around. She was frightened until Leon knocks on the door and tells her wants to talk to her outside. He offers her the job and she says no. But when she goes back in her place, Jerry starts calling her names and is threatening again. She calls Leon telling him to turn around and come back she'll take the job. Later how Leon begins to yell at her and throws her out. He has issues and so does she.
Great book couldn't wait to see these two get their HEA after some fumbles buy our hero.
Leon Blake has some major issues due to his past regarding his daughters mother. When he meets Kelly he feels a spark and she does too Kelly is his daughters nurse who quickly forms a bond with his daughter Sophie. He is will to do anything to get her to stay with them as their nanny when he sees how close they become. Kelly has ties from her past who don't want to let her go but moves on to become Sophie's nanny and a friend to Leon and when their relationship shift she is happy to head in a new direction but Leon's past holds on tightly to him. His hot and cold attitude almost put me off but he redeems himself when he accepts he has issues and they talk out their problems so they can have their HEA.
