My dad said the boy was trouble and I didn't listen. Now, years after Aiden broke my heart, he suddenly reappears--everywhere. He shows up in the strangest places. I can't seem to escape him. Worse still, I don't want to. Even if I still hate what the boy did. I'm afraid I'm falling all over again for the man he's become.
Ten years ago, I waited for my boyfriend all night at our usual place. He never showed up, not even when the diner closed and they shooed me outside to wait in the rain. Trying to get over Aiden was more painful than a root canal and more difficult than my med school classes. But somehow I managed to put the shattered pieces of myself back together. One thing I still haven't done? Fall completely in love with another guy, the way I fell for Aiden. I'm sure I will, though... eventually. Then, without any warning, Aiden starts showing up everywhere: at the mall parking lot, by the slot machines in the casino, and even at my sister's wedding rehearsal. Oh, we also happen to be new medical interns at the same hospital. Seriously, what is happening? I mean, a part of me is still fuming over what happened in the past. But I can't deny I've always wanted to see Aiden again. He's looking good. Real good. He used to be a tall, lanky kid. Now, he's a solid wall of muscles, with a smile that could melt hearts (and panties). Despite his humble beginnings, he's also a young doctor with a bright future ahead of him. As our worlds collide, secrets come tumbling out. We learn the chilling truth: with every secret kiss we share, we're risking everything--our careers and our families. I know I should stay away from Aiden. The stakes are too high. But what do I do when love keeps leading us back to each other, again and again?
Again is a standalone, full-length novel of approximately 54,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happily ever after. Includes bonus content!
3,8. O enredo é uma gracinha, a autora soube desenvolver a história, mas..... A personagem principal é insuportável, insegura, dependente.... Não gostei!

Short second chance at romance between Aiden and Aubrey. At sixteen, Aubrey's dad put up major roadblocks between her and Aiden -- and he disappeared without a single word. Twelve years later, by accident they meet again in front of slot machines in Vegas. Their story is a little sad and both are once again struck by how much they've missed each other. Coincidentally, they are both starting internships at the same hospital. But renewing their relationship still faces unknown interferences and may always keep them apart.
I liked the concept and the characters (except for Aubrey's dad who was off-the-charts possessive). But this one just didn't have enough depth or foundation for me. Too rushed and one of those coulda, shoulda, woulda stories that needed some additional attention.
The story line was pretty good, but honestly the dialogue was so basic it was borderline cringe. It definitely needed improvement there, as well as with the pacing.
It is not always the meddling kids! Ooo I was all sorts of frustrated with this second chance, sexy hit you right in the heart romance!
When Aubrey and Aiden see each other for the first time in 10 years, the conversation is not one you would expect! Separated all those years ago by forces of nature beyond their control- Aiden knows he some things to explain about the past, they may be older and a bit different now, but one thing remains the same, the underlying connection is still there. Maybe it was fate that brought them together at this wedding between her sister and his best friend, but whatever it is, now that he has seen her, he knows she is the only one for him. Will it be enough to ward off the forces that be still lingering the background?
Nikki Chase did again! I love a second chance romance and OH! This one is fantastic! Had me on the train to emotional town and back with its angsty, messy situations. Sweet hotness and all alpha with a side of obsessive crazy and a bit neurotic this book about covers it all! One I would suggest reading!
I loved this second chance romance. Aiden and Aubrey met at 16. They grew inseparable fast. Problem with that is she grew up with a very overbearing father that believes Aiden isn't good enough for his daughter. Aiden grew up with both parents but his father was a drunk and a gambler. When his father died he and his mom moved away. She said it was bad luck. Aubrey was waiting for him to run away with her but he never showed up. Ten years later life throws them back together. Her sister is marrying Aiden's close friend. of course the feelings they had never died and now they don't want anything to get between them . One problem still remains, her dad is still controlling her life. I have to say I was not a fan of either side if parents. They both tried to remain in control instead of letting them grow and learn from their mistakes. That usually just adds to their rebellion. Such a sweet read and I love how they came to stand on their. Great read! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.
I love a good second chance romance, and this one doesn't disappoint. Aiden and Aubrey dated 10 years ago and are two young kids from opposite sides of the tracks. Expecting to spend the rest of their lives together, they make plans, but due to circumstances over which neither had control, they end up breaking each other's hearts. Fast forward 10 years, and they have a chance meeting at her sister's wedding, followed by several more chance meetings that teach them how much they still feel for each other. However, there are forces in play that still wish to come between them, and we are left wondering if they will be able to overcome the odds and find the life together they should have had so many years ago.
I have watched this Ms Chase continue to improve in her writing skills and the development of her characters along with the story lines with each new book she writes. This story is erotic, exciting, poignant and sweet, and it show just how far her characters are willing to go to have their happily-ever-after. I look forward to seeing what she has for us next.

Nikki Chase has written another awesome book. She does not disappointment. I couldn't imagine having a parent that is that controlling. I think I would have kept running away just to get away from them. And then to find out ten years later that they put a tracking device in your phone to track your every move would have been the last straw. I think I would have cut off all contact with them completely.
This story is fill with sexual tension and feelings of love that have lasted for ten years even though there has been no contact in that time. And then there are the feelings between her and her dad with him being so controlling all her life and not letting her live the life she wants with who she wants. Will they be able to get away from her dad and live their lives together or does her dad's controlling keep them apart permanently?
This is a great love story between Aubrey and Aiden. They meet when they are 16 and mean the world to one another. Aubrey comes from a family with money and power and Aiden has had a hard family life. He is a great young man and works to help support him and his mom. While working he meets Aubrey at his job. One day Aiden disappeared and Aubrey's not sure what happened. After 10 years they meet not once but twice not realizing it. They seem to pick up where they left off and their connection and love for one another is pure. Lets say that her dad is a very controlling and powerful man who makes decisions for those around him without caring how it affects them. He is a mean controlling dad. I enjoyed how Hannah and Aubrey make him see what he's done. They love and passion between Aiden and Aubrey is genuine and you feel as it it's alive around you. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Again is a sweet and steamy second chance love story. Aubrey is from a wealthy family. She is smothered by her over protective and controlling father, at 16 she starts to rebel. She meets Aiden at her part time job. He is handsome and kind, and in love. When her father finds out he forces them a part. 10 years later they are reunited at her sisters wedding. Aiden is determined to get Aubrey back. No women has ever filled his heart like she has. When they find they are interning at the same hospital, things seem to fall into place, until secrets from the past and Aubrey's father tries to pull them a part. Loved Aiden and Aubrey's story. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I purchased a copy because I loved the story, will be reading again and I wanted to support the Author.
There is not that much to say about this story. IT IS AN AMAZING READ. That should be enough. Nikki Chase did not disappoint me with this story. It has a great flow and lots of chemistry and hot scenes. I like the main characters Aubrey and Aiden are described so well that you almost feel you know them. They were high school sweethearts but Aiden left and now 10 years later he has come back to town. Will they be back together? Why did Aiden leave? Can Aubrey take a chance with her heart? This story has a lot in it; passion, chemistry, drama, emotional rollercoaster, laughs, sighs, heartbreaks, second chances, alpha male and steamy hot scenes. Both characters develop throughout the book and has to struggle with their past and to let go. I can only recommend this if you like to read a hot romance.

Again by Nikki Chase was an awesome story about a second chance for love between Aubrey and Aiden. First love for both at the age of 16, then Aiden just disappears leaving Aubrey devastated and unable to forge a connection with anyone else for 10 long years. Fate or coincidence, they find each other again, unknowingly of the circumstances that forced them apart in the first place and still manipulating circumstances that could force them apart once more. Is their love strong enough to survive this second chance? Only by reading the book will find out. Congratulations Nikki Chase for an enormously engaging & intriguing romance 🔥😍🔥. I received the advance review copy for an honest review. Loved it ❤️
Just finished this amazing story about a past love that is so strong even years couldn't stop them from meeting and reconnecting. So much heart in the story of Aiden and Aubrey. I loved the back story and how real it felt. In the book Aiden touches Aubrey cheek and I felt it. That is definitely a powerful and well told story to do that.
Nikki writes great stories but it's something with this story is like a magnet to me. It's definitely one that will stay with me.
It's got humor, weddings, some superstitions and most important it feels REAL. Like this could really happen. It's not about a billionaire guy or a fake wedding. It's a REAL story about if you screw up and love us meant to be - it will find you.
I love reading books by Nikki and this was another great one! In Again, we meet Aubrey and Aiden who first find each other at 16. But suddenly, one day, Aiden disappears with Aubrey never hearing from him again...till 10 years later at her sister's wedding where Aiden is her future BIL's best friend. Together again, everything seems like they never lost touch and it's better as their now older. Both of them are interns at the same hospital. But Aiden's mom doesn't want him having anything to do with Aubrey to the point that his mom is almost hysterical. Something isn't right...this was a great read that was well-written with characters that feel real.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
This is such a bittersweet story that I was gripped from the start.
Aiden and Aubrey were sweethearts at 16, until he disappeared without a word. Fast forward 10 years and they unexpectedly meet again at her sister's wedding.
Neither has forgotten their first love, neither has found fulfillment with other people. They seize this second chance but secrets from the past threaten to rip them apart forever.
The main characters are well rounded with believable back stories and the plot moves quickly. There are some very emotional scenes as the past comes back to haunt them and the depth of their parents' machinations is revealed.
I found myself skipping paragraphs. I didn't find Aubrey a likable character, she was not very strong and allowed her parents to manipulate her even at the age of 26. She was already an intern at the hospital and she still questioned herself. I found her character very weak. The dad was a poor excuse of a human being. And the intervention with Aubrey's sister Hannah was great but it happened too fast and too easy. Their dad caved in right away. It was not believable. The only character I like is Aiden. he's a hard working, strong and smart person. He loved Aubrey and he never have up. He fought all the battles to keep their relationship. Good thing there was an HEA.
Aubrey and Aiden meet again after a decade at Aubrey’s sister Hannah’s wedding. She is the maid of honor and Aiden is Hannah’s fiancé Earl’s friend. So they are forced to spend time together although Aubrey is still hurt because of his sudden disappearance 10 years ago. At that time they dated and they were in love. Then he left and she never heard from him or saw him again. In spite of her mistrust towards him and her mixed emotions they reconnect pretty fast only to realize that their mutual feelings did not change over the past years…
This book is a very emotional read that sends one on a rollercoaster ride. It had me choked up in tears not only once!
Aiden and Aubrey were childhood sweethearts until one day he just disappeared. Flash forward ten years and they meet up at her sisters wedding and fall for each other all over again. But will the same people who kept them apart before be able to do it again or will they finally get their happily ever after? This book had my emotions on overdrive. The true passion and love that the characters had jumped from the pages. I did not want to put the book down and I was upset to see it end. This was an awesome book that I highly recommend.
Aiden & Aubrey ♡ Separated for 10 years Aiden & Aubrey each think of each other as the one that got away...and yet puzzled it ended as abruptly as it did, with more questions than answers. Second chances are a rare thing (outside of romance novels), so when they run into each other again, they both feel the heat as sparks fly. Family drama, intrigue, and smoldering passion all swirl together to make this a great read...and will have you hoping for a HEA! Received as an ARC, voluntarily reviewed.
Aubrey and Aiden find each other Again and I like what Marcus said about Uncle A and Aunt Bee having baby C. lol This is another excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance author! After growing up in dysfunction, it is quite refreshing to read about a hero that is quite sane while Aubrey's dad is the control freak. It was a pleasure watching Aiden teach her to wear her big girl panties and not let life's circumstances control her. Wish this was a true story. lol I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author!
Again is a super sweet and sexy second chance romance. I loved Aiden and Aubrey. They are just plain nice people who have never gotten over the love they had for each other as teenagers despite her interfering father. You can just feel their joy at being together again and the heartbreak when it looks like they might have to separate once more. I loved every moment of this story even the early scenes of them as teens. So cute, so sweet! This is a great read by Nikki Chase. I loved it.

A second chance romance that has so many twists and turns due to mettling families. It will make your head spin with all the drama inside. But I loved that our two main characters (Aubrey and Aiden) even with all the years separating them and family interfering. They never forgot each other. Through thick and thin they stuck ot out. Now if only they can get their parents off their backs. And let them live their lives in peace.
A spectacular second chance romance that I really enjoyed. Great storyline that kept me glued to my kindle all the way through. Aiden and Aubrey are wonderful characters who meet up again after 10 years. The chemistry is incredible and they are great together. But can they make it work this time with Aubrey's father trying to keep them apart again. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This book annoyed the hell out of me. Aiden's mother is pathetic and Bee's father isn't much better. I despised both of their characters and struggled to read most of this book.
Throw in the fact at 26 her father tells her she's moving back to Vegas with him and she just does - the main female character is weak. In fact, she's everything i despise in characters.
This was a book at the back of Accidentally engaged.
Second chance to overcome parental control. Well edited.
Aiden and Aubrey meet and fall into deep like when they are 16. Aubrey comes from a well-to-do family, and has a ridiculously overbearing father. Daddy doesn't like Aiden, so he makes it extremely difficult for them to date. Aiden weathers every obstacle because he wants to be with Aubrey no matter what comes. However, Aiden suddenly disappears from Aubrey's life with no goodbye and no explanation. Phone numbers are changed, email addresses are changed, and communication goes silent.
Ten years later, Aiden happens to be a groomsman in Aubrey's sister's wedding. Aiden and Aubrey reconnect, and coincidentally they are interning at the same hospital. Romance resumes and heats up. The couple finally realize that they were purposely kept apart in the past. They determine that nothing will separate them this time. Daddy finds out, and once again determines that he knows best, threatening Aiden's future if Aubrey doesn't come home. Will Aiden and Aubrey be separated forever? Will they find a way to overcome daddy's threats?
This is a pretty standard, good read. It is very easy to despise the measures that Aubrey's dad will go to to keep Aiden and Aubrey apart. Aubrey is pretty dependent on her father's financial support, and it takes quite a while for her to exert herself and claim independence. She wants her dad to relinquish control, but she sure doesn't want to give up the financial support. All in all, this is a nice afternoon read. Enjoy.
A second chance story of two people, Aiden & Aubrey, who used to be sweethearts when they were teens until one day he doesn't show up ever again, leaving her heartbroken. Ten years later they run into each other a couple of times, not recognizing the other until the pieces fall together. Once again they're inseparable and finally find out the real reason for their first separation in their teens but even through all that they remain together until she confronts her dad and he blackmails her. Will they find each other again? A story with steamy scenes and two people who were meant to be together finally make it. I enjoyed the fact that after ten years and the secrets, they are true and don't try to be anyone else, not keeping anymore secrets, fighting for their relationship and not allowing anyone to come between them. I really didn't like her family especially their dad and I think he got off too easily for all the things he did in the past and present, too controlling, a bully and he didn't suffer any consequences. But otherwise a great read and I couldn't help but fall in love with Aiden, who was smart, funny, fearless and would do anything for the one he loves. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
I give this book 4 1/2 stars...this is Aubrey and Aiden's story of young love and second chances. They meet and fall in love at age 16. Aiden suddenly disappears leaving Aubrey wondering why and if he will ever reach out to her. Fast forward 10 years and we see Aubrey again with her nephew who skateboards into a strangers car. He tells her nephew what his name is.... Is this fate or coincidence as Aubrey immediately wonders if this is her Aiden. It turns out they meet again at her sister's wedding. They still feel the connection but do they deserve a second chance at love...will they be able to resolve what ever conflict that forced them apart all those many years ago? Is (was) this true love, will their love and will they survive? Well I wish I could say but I will not spoil the book for anyone. You will have to read it to find out their fate. I loved their story, I want to thank Nikki Chase for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book in advance of it's release.
Again is a second chance story about two young lovers that find each other again at a family/friends wedding. Aiden never thought he would see Aubrey again so when his best friend gets married to her sister he can't believe his luck. Aubrey, on the other hand, can't believe this hot guy is the same lanky boy that she loved when she was younger. But both Aiden and Aubrey want to figure out how they lost each other 10 years before. I do like second chance stories and this one is really no different. An overprotective father trying to take over his daughter's life by keeping the "bad" boy out of her life. The daughter allowing or ignoring that this is going on and then acting like it is no big deal. The "bad" boy turning into a hot guy with a great future. Wanting the girl to choose him and not the family. Would I recommend this book, sure. It is a good book. I liked the characters and the book is well-written. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.
