Apparently GI Joe are now anime teenagers. I give up, I’m quitting this continuity. The Dire Wraiths are all over this story arc and other monsters. It’s not even GI Joe anymore.
Typical GI Joe assignments with the exception of Skywarp (transformer) joining up with Joe’s. The character you know from Saturday morning cartoons with this alien robot addition to the team, fight alien zombie like creatures and some robot ninjas.
It’s no Larry Hama when it comes to the writing and the art is way too much manga influenced. It de-ages all the Joes so it looks like a bunch of teenagers. Stick with the real thing.
