The heroine is awestruck by hero immediatly. I did not feel the connection. The hero and heroine meet when the hero is in bed with three women and she crushes on him?!?

This is book one of the Avowed Brothers Series and features Adelaide and Kyle. Kyle has been god on wheels to women as the famous lead guitarist for the Avowed Brothers Band. But he's a one and done kinda guy. No attachments and no second nights. He's at a low point and at odds with his brothers since the band was forced to break up due to his addiction. He's always been a wild guy who finds himself attracted to his chef Adelaide. She's sweet and innocent and not like his usual one night stands. He has an upcoming movie spot and Adelaide to look forward to. No spoiler here, but this is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining plot. Lots of chemistry to heat up your kindle. If you like rock star books, you'll love this one. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

More like a 3.5 stars but maybe review will clear up why not a full four...
Well, it seems gratitious to have Adaline find Kyle with three naked women on first day of her job as personal chef and yet he's clean and sober from years of drug abuse and partying. It seems still skeezy for a guy to commit to this level of debauchery sober. Still Adaline wants to sleep with him the first day of meeting him. GROSS. And unacceptable.
The story after that gets a bit better but I still feel like a fly landed in my soup.
I did like how she remained focused on her career goals and maybe Kyle did have adjustments to make once the band got touring again. I didn't blame Kyle or Adaline for that breakup.
Ending was straightforward and set up the next in series...which brother??? must read to find out.

Oh my goodness this is a good story! The story is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Kyle is a down and out former rock star who is trying to make a comeback. Adelaide is a broke and alone girl who just wants to be a chef. Together they are pure magic. Their chemistry in amazing and their romance is beautiful. I enjoyed his bad boy attitude against her innocence, and the fact that even though they are total opposites they can find joy together. This story is beautifully written with wonderful characters who you want to get all they dream of. I'm not usually a fan of the rock star trope, but this one is a lot more than that and I loved it.

This is an enjoyable, exciting, fun and heartwarming book. Well written plot, funny moments, endearing characters, makes this an irresistible story you won't want to put down. It was a good book to sit and relax with and enjoy. I like this author and thought the book was well written. I recommend it.

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I'm not normally one for rockstar romances but this one was so good. First book I read from the author and highly recommend it. Kyle and Adelaide were so easy too root for. And the fact that she was a cook he hired made it interesting to see where it would lead. If you like rockstar romances definitely check this one out.

This quick read about three brothers, Kyle being the youngest and focus of this story was an OK read for me. His infatuation with his new personal chef Adelaide & hers with him happened in warp speed without much to go on IMO, but Kyle's feeling do come off sincere eventually. I just wished for a little more depth to the relationship in the beginning.

Beautifully written!
I recived a free Advanced Readers Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. And I enjoyed both the storyline and the characters immensely.
The plot is heartfelt, heart-breaking and exceptional. The chemestry between Kyle and Adelaide is sizzling and captivating and their emotions and struggles feel real. This steamy romance makes you fall in love with the characters and root for a beautiful HEA all the way through.
I look forward to reading the next book written by Kat Tobin. And I secretly hope the next one is about Jack.

first time I read this author. it's a good easy read. addy is trying to pay her bills, trying to get a job in a kitchen. her friend gets her to work with her in preparing food for the rich and she gets Kyle sargent as a client. connection is instant. he is working on a movie but he is tired of his life, he wants to make music again, he wants to reconnect with his brothers. now that he is living a clean life. she calms him, and with her by his side he reconnects with his brothers. cute book
