I enjoyed reading the poetry but you know, it was fast and interesting but I didn’t felt that I’ll like to reread it

Powerful

Words of truth. Who knew we see things differently. Reading this book has given empowerment. Learn to know what’s good for you, how to react to things and how to embrace life itself. Love this book.

The book was literally, word for word, the same as For the Broken II with maybe some slight changes & the addition of a few additional poems.

I kept waiting for new poems, but none came as far as I could tell. If you read this before For the Broken II, it’s great! But considering For the Broken II came out first, I’m not sure why this one is exactly the same being that it was published 2 weeks later...

Edit: Prior to reading this book, I was unaware (obviously) that this was a republication of For the Broken II under a different name. It was free on Kindle Unlimited so I missed that fact, but if you haven’t read FTB II then you’ll love this book. Reading both however is pretty pointless.

I liked this book, but because I tended to align politically with it, and less for the literary value of the work. I find that the "For the _______" series tends to be simple, but relatable for those who need to read them. In the end, its a quick simple read you can download for free via kindleunlimited.

So much truth in this beautiful masterpiece. Fearlessly written to give every word you read true feeling. Lucas has won me over. 🍀💖

This was alright. Perhaps my least favorite of hers since I swear a lot of these pieces were in previous works.

I really connected to the words.

Feelings of the same! I was drawn into this book almost immediately after I began to read it. It touched down to home.

do not cry over a man whose masculinity is so fragile that he would not cry over you too -the minimum

I saved a ton of quotes from this. I couldn’t agree more with this book or relate to it more. Missing a star because I felt like it needed something more. Something was missing, but I don’t know what. I also don’t like repeat words, but other than that, I appreciate this poetry collection a lot for what it is.
