Oh, things are heating up now!!! Twists and turns, betrayal, unexpected visitors, unexpected gifts, more murders (gruesome by the way), and more!!
I'm going to try not to spoil anything here. If you've read books one and two, you know you were left at the edge of your seat at the end. I'm not going to ruin anything for you. You just going to have to read it.
Rest assured, you will not be disappointed in this next installment of the series! The struggle for power continues with horrific happenings, spells, ruin, old alliances tested or destroyed, and new alliances formed. A new visitor with stronger powers than they ever imagined has come and caused untold grief and tragedy to the Worthy family. Once again, a choice has to be made as to who to trust, and the line between right and wrong is blurred once more. With the Worthy family close to falling apart, will they be strong enough to withstand the evil forces against them and see this through?
I know you probably can't tell much from this review as to the happenings in the book. Good. You need to read it and experience it for yourself. It's captivating as are all of Marcus's books. You can't help but be drawn in to the story line. The characters are so amazing and complex. The murder scenes are wonderfully gruesome. At the same time, underneath the horror and magic, there's a hint of a love story brewing. I couldn't put this down and was literally up until 3am to finish it.!
This does end in a cliff-hanger, which, in this case, is a great thing! It means there is more Crockworthy Sisters to come!!

Yet another fantastic read! Right from the beginning the twists and turns begin. I was happily surprised that it did not start as I expected it to. The conflict between the three sisters continues, but they find a way beyond their disagreements as the story unfolds. Then Marcus takes another shocking turn that I will leave you to read to find out. Some questions were answered, while others were created. The ending to this book for me was filled with such a variety of emotions from shock, to sadness, to hope. I don't think we have seen the last of the Crockworthy's. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to see what Marcus Brown brings to us next.

Another gruesome and tense outing from the Crockworthy sisters, short and sweet with an edge-of-your-seat storyline and a few unexpected twists thrown it to keep it interesting.
A plot that kept me intrigued and an ending that left me wanting more.
Fast paced, flowing and exciting, the third instalment in the Crockworthy novella's leads easily into the next book.
Hope it hurries up.

Well worth waiting for, this series has been really enjoyable, lots of twists and turns and unexpected events, don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so won’t say too much, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a bit of horror, myth and magic. I thought this was the final part but no, there is yet more to come, can’t wait to see what happens next. Another hit from the pen of Marcus Brown.

Just when you finally accept what you believe to have read happened, POOF!!! you are taken by surprise again as Marcus spins his web of mayhem. Devoured this needing to know how the Crockworthy Sisters were going to control and stop the evilness and Murders created by Jerimiah and Abigail... I need book 4 now !!!!!

Another on edge read. Loved it! I love how the story continues and you can’t see what’s coming. Ready for the next book in this series. Love the way they end leaving you wanting more! XX
