Zack "Attack" Leoni is a wild and free nomad biker who spends most of his time on the road. Each stop there's another woman to satisfy his needs. He's not one to be tied down to anyone or anything and certainly not a woman with a child. Nicole Swafford fears for her life as she tries to escape Spider, her violent ex-husband and the father of her child...the same man Zack is meeting for a club business deal. Will the smiling Zack Attack jeopardize club business for a woman he doesn't know, with a child he doesn't want? Will Spider let anyone stand in the way of what he wants? His child and Nicole. Two men, one woman, and a child. That's trouble. Big trouble.
This is the 4th book in the Southside Skulls MC Series. It is a Standalone Romance Novel but characters from the previous novels, DAX, CODY & GUNNER, are main players in this story too. HEA and No cliffhanger. Intended for Mature Readers.
I was a little iffy going into Zack with the way his character was in Gunner but from the very beginning he is very charming and the way he treats the heroine and her little boy is amazing . He does every thing he can to keep Nicole safe and while doing so falling for her and her adorable little boy loved when he would have conversations with him and how close they bonded . Nicole is a wonderful mom all she does is put her son first and she doesn't need a savior she could kick some serious butt but the hero wants to save her can't fight the pool the draws them to one another . I highly suggest that you read the southside skulls motorcycle club in order you will be a little lost with some chapters but Zack can be read as a standalone if you don;t mind that . We get a tease on whats to come and I'm freaking out I can't wait . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero = 10 heroine = 10 secondary characters = 10 Chemistry = 10 steam = 9 romance = 8 humor = 4 darkness level = 6 enjoyment = 10 angst = 4 action = 6 story line = 10 mystery = 4 character development = 10 pacing = 10 Plot = 10 cover = 10 stars = 5 author = 10 would I recommend this book = yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
Yet Another great read in this ongoing MC series. So far I am thinking this one is my top favorites.
I love it when the men in the story always protest so much about what they want and what they need.As always they think they just want sex and nothing more but, there is always that one that isn't so easily forgotten and when that happens I love seeing these Dark Dangerous Dominate men fall....
Zack's current women he lusts after has a complication as she has a baby and her ex is a current abusive biker from hell from a rival club and still thinks she's his old lady. What man wants all that complication?Zack that is who! He's been in deep since the minute he rescued her.
I loved this story so much from the onset and cover to cover. This story was filled with so much emotion. Some if it happy, scared, hopeful, fearful, love, regret and longing.
I always pick a favorite character in a story and mine is going to be Zack.I just loved him from the onset.Yes ,he wanted sex from from her but, it was so much more and more about protecting herself and child from harm.He always put her needs first. We saw him grow emotionally himself. He let those walls he had built around himself come down long enough to put his trust in someone he loved and cared about.I though he was smart, sexy, kind protective, loving and caring and an all around super guy.I loved how protective her was of Nicole and her child from the start.I found myself falling in love with him myself. I loved as we saw him fall in love with the child as well as Nicole.I loved all the things a dad does for their child and Zack never realized that he was playing that part throughout their courtship .Smiles...
Nicole on the other hand I found to be determined, loving, caring, fearful and had a bit of a backbone.Nicole was determined to make a life for herself and that of her child.I will say that she annoyed me at times as she was just so stubborn and disregarded her safety even knowing her ex would keep trying to harm her.I hated how her stubbornness made It so hard for them to protect her.I just wanted to smack her so many times for being so stupid knowing all the time what her ex Spider was already capable of.
I loved the chemistry, the passion and the emotion that this couples sexual situations wrought. They made a really cute couple and the perfect family this is something Zack secretly longed for.I so wanted to to finally find some peace and happiness and someone to love him and I am glad he did I was rooting for him.
My heart broke for Zack and the up bringing he had.I have to say that I detested his mother from the onset of their meeting.I felt relieved that justice was served when It came to her.I so wanted to smack that bitch every-time she opened her mouth and I am so not a violent person. LOL
I loved it.Loved the plot the characters and the twists and turns the story took.We even got the chance to have some of our other favorite MC members grace our pages in this current story and I loved seeing them again with all the quirky personalities their love and loyalty toward one another.
Well Done!
Recommend read to all and of course the rest of this series we are loving it!
5 stars from us Arc copy provided for honest review Full review @ angelswithattitudebookreviews
So this was a surprise and a good read. Not that the other two I have read in this series weren't but the writing seems to be more developed and the characters are more believable. Great job.
Nicole is trying to escape the hands of her abusive ex Spider. Getting out of her marriage was a blessing but the man wont let her go. He is still threatening her, still coming around and still controlling her life. Needing to escape with her son is on the top of her list. Zack overhears Nicoles situation while meeting over club business and decides he needs to help this woman no matter what the price.
Zack has a decision to make. A woman over club business ... he cant seem to get the story out of his head. Making a choice might prove easier than he thinks.
There are characters from the previous releases in this release so that's good. There is a ton going on but the story flows well. Spider is bat shit crazy so be prepared for that. Loved the characters and the plot in this one -- good easy read for a lazy day inside or at the beach!
Thank you for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets!
Loved it!! Book 4 of the Southside Skulls. This is Zack and Nicole's story. We met Zack in the last book. A big smiling, sarcastic and too hot for his own good. We also met Nicole. A beautiful young woman who was the punching bag of Spider. Also the mother of a sweet baby boy. Zack grew up in a different MC in a different town. His father was the president of that club and he hated what they stood for. He hated both his parents with good reason so he went nomad. While working on some for the club he met with Spider and he seen what he was doing to Nicole and tried to stop it. He kept an eye out on her and tried to stay away but there was just something about her. Nicole was raised in a extremely religious household where her parents were overbearing. She had met Spider and he was good to her until after she had the baby and you know what drugs can do to a person. When she met Zack she had broken up with Spider but he didn't want to let her go. This is mostly about what Spider put them through and a whole lot of other club stuff. A good bit of a suspense, a little bit of mystery, a lot of family and a lot of hot, hot naughty goodies.
A good addition to this series. I really liked Zack's character, especially his relationship with the h's baby. He's hot, alpha, protective with a sweet side for the woman he loves and her baby. This series really should be read in order to grasp all of the characters who flow from book to book. Available on KU.
I liked this book well enough, but I didn’t fall in love with it. It grew on me, though, as I got deeper into it, if for no other reason than Zack is hot as f*ck, the sex is titillating and scintillating, and there are a lot of twists and turns. It’s not a typical MC romance; that is, if you define typical as revolving around the MC and their business as much as the characters.
I never felt or sensed the chemistry and attraction that Nicole held for Zack. It was conveyed in print and in the story, but it didn’t sizzle off the page. Zack’s conveyance was a little more palpable and believable (about Nicole), though it was more believable when it came to his ever-growing affection for Liam. That said, as the story builds, their relationship is the real deal, and it’s not difficult to believe they’ll make it and have a solid relationship and (hopefully) marriage and family.
Nicole is a strong person, even though she had a conservative upbringing and made some questionable choices, the biggest among them her relationship with Spider, or Michael Lee Johnson III. It’s obvious she is a hard worker, a good mother, and a decent person. Her best friend Stacey always has her back, but takes a beating in more ways than one for her BFF. Zack is the product of the devil and an equally wicked mother, but there’s a lot more to him than his DNA might imply. Spider, on the other hand, was born and raised as a trust fund kid, but those advantages didn’t seem to have the desired effect when all was said and done.
The writing is pretty good, although a thorough proofreading would have made it better. The sex scenes were riveting, hot, and refreshingly written (not the same old words and phrases). The storyline had many branches, and they were all brought to fruition and conclusion. Some seemed a bit like watching a soap opera to me (Gunner and Tammy), but the scenes were woven in to add another twist or turn. For those who have read the previous books in the series and know the background of some characters, such as Dax and Cody, the book will be even more satisfying.
All in all, now that I look back on the book, I liked this couple (Nicole and Zack), and though throwing a kid into the mix can be a negative, Liam really added to this story, especially when it came to showing a fun and paternal side to Zack. It also served as the way to bring out Nicole’s true qualities. Regardless, Zack is easy to fall in love with.
Zach (KU) 361 pgs *** Zach & Nicole 3 stars because only half of the book was about an actual story. Well, at 28% there’s been more pages of sex than of actual story. Not sure if I will continue on with this series if this is how all the books are going to be. The story is great but after the first sex scene, which lasts pages and pages and most of it is oral, I have been skipping the rest. There really wasn’t much MC action to speak of but at about 80% there was some action, not really MC though. I’ve come to think the rest of this series will be the same, mostly sex with a great story mixed in. To me it like having a 200-page story with the other 160 pages of copy and paste sex scenes. The stories in these books could very well be 4-5-star worthy but only half of the books are the story. Not sure if I will continue on but since the stories are pretty good, and the series is a KU and I don’t have to pay for each book, I may read the next one about Levi.
Story: Very good story line, easy to read and kept me interested. Could have well been a 4-5 star story.
Sex: way too much sex, pages and pages of sex (like 10+ pages worth in every chapter) instead of story; became monotonous and I skipped them all except the first few and then they became like a copy and paste sort of scene.
Romance: Zack was surprisingly a romantic at heart but you could only tell by some of his thoughts and words that he said to Nicole. There were a few romantic scenes though.
Characters: I loved Zack, Nicole and Stacy. I grew to like some of Nicole’s family by the end and the few MC characters that made an appearance.
Chemistry: There was a lot of chemistry between Zach and Nicole but there wasn’t any anticipation in the story, it just went straight to sex scenes, no build up.
MC action: Rare, just a few club house meetings and a few of the guys showed up now and then but no real MC action which was so disappointing.
Violence: A few violent scenes but not really MC book worthy.
Oh boy... Oh boy... Another book from this amazing woman and I'm so happy. If you had read my previous reviews you will find out why I'm this way. I love MC books and this lady nail them... Jessie Cooke as a dark, intense and hot writing that will make you blush and want more by the sec. I should warn you that you need to read the first three books from this series in order first because despite they are all standalones you need to know the characters better. Zack is a wild and freed biker that loved to ride his bike and to ride as much womans as he can. He can be a complete jerk when he wants to be but don't let that fool you because behind that facade hides a man with so much to give. He hates commitment because he wants to be wild and free forever until the day he meets Nicole. Things will change but for better or worse? Can he jeopardize his life and his brothers? Nicole wants to get away with her son from the man who abuses her not only physical but mentally as well. She just wants to raise her son in peace. When she meets Zack she really wishes that he can help her get away from Spider but... Jesus... If I was in love with this MC now I'm even more. If I thought that Gunner had stolen my heart I totally take that back because Zack is becoming my favorite. The plot is amazing and the interaction between the characters is beautiful, intense and scary sometimes. The story progressed in a way that I was scared for the characters safety but there were parts they I was in need of a cold shower... The crime, punishment, craziness and abuse are very present in this book as well as love family, loyalty and trust. The chemistry between the characters is beautiful and they didn't saw that coming. I know that I'm being dramatic but I really don't care about it because I don't want this series to end. I'm so in love with this MC that I want to keep knowing more about them. Will we have more Jessie? Please say yes!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Holy hell, but have I fallen in love with Zack. I admit to thinking of him as being a massive tool in GUNNER. But like an onion, he has so many different layers and you peel them away to find out what is underneath. He can be a complete jerk, and makes not one bone about it, but he has moments of softness that are so out of tune with the persona of her character that is melted my heart. He is definitely dangerous and passionate when it comes to Nicole Swafford and Liam, her son.
And poor Nicole. She cannot get away from the hell that Liam’s father Spider is putting her through. Her did things that no man should do to a woman, but she survived and she thrived. She put aside her past with Zack’s help, which was not an easy thing for her character to do. She was also able to take her life by the hands and move on from the danger that Spider constantly brought into her and her son’s life. And she totally found herself towards the end of the book in a way that I don’t think even she thought she could.
Zack was such a different character in this story than in the previous one and it was such a good difference! The interactions between him and Nicole, as well as Liam, are so sweet at times. I especially love how his characters talks with Liam. I could clearly see the bond forming between the two. I also liked the fact that Jessie Cooke included other characters from the previous book in this one, as well as exposed the evilness that is his mother. Lord was she a piece of work! All in all, I really enjoyed this book. It has twists and turns and plots within plots.
After Gunner's book, I wasn't so sure about reading Zack. However, I decided to give this series another try in hopes of liking it. I definitely can say I found it better than Gunner, though I'm still not completely convinced this series is for me.
Zack—who we are told and we've seen in the previous book, is a hot headed Biker that loves exploring all the varieties of women the world has to offer—is determined to help Nicole and her infant son get away from Spider. He can't help but feel something for Nicole and her son but he wants to deny it both to himself but her as well. But it's quite obvious to everyone that he would never let anything happen to either of them even if it becomes a problem for him and his club. I loved that he protected Nicole so fiercely.
I liked Nicole, even if I wanted to strangle her sometimes because of Spider. She was definitely a good girl at heart and a wonderful mother and friend. Her attraction to Spider is very questionable but she made up for it with Zack.
I have to tell you, what really sold this book for me was Zack with Liam. There are some very sweet and funny scenes where Zack is interacting with Liam just talking to him and they are adorable and sweet. I loved it! Zack may be a badass but he's definitely a great man when it comes to those he deeply cares for.
Overall, this was a pretty good read and I liked the characters. I'll probably give it one more try to see if I can really get into the series. Having said that though, I'd recommend Zack.

Holy Hell it's hard for me to fathom as I have LOVED EVERY MINUTE of the previous books, but each new book in this series gets better & better, and Zack is absolutely NO EXCEPTION! Anyway, let me get to it! Zack "Attack" Leoni is a wild & free nomad, who spends most of his life on the road, with lots of different women. He wants nothing to tie him down, especially a woman with a baby, but when he meets Nicole Swafford, his life starts to go in a different direction. She needed help, he became her white knight in leather, and now he can't seem to stay away from her. Her ex-husband is a member of a different club, and Spider wants his wife back, and is willing to go to any lengths to achieve that goal. Will Zack be able to keep them safe? As much as I love the previous books, this one has become my favorite, although, I'm starting to believe that each new one will gain that title. Zack and Nicole are simply TNT together, in between all of the insane chaos around them. Zack is a drool worthy alpha, while Nicole is bad a**! I've become highly addicted to Jessie Cooke's uber talented writing style, and I can't get enough! Just her twists and turns are a 5 star, as she kept me dropping the loud f-bombs throughout! I'm super excited to read the next book, as the preview has me all kinds of impatiently crazy, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
So I have to say after being a little bit let down by Cody's and Gunner's book I was a bit weary about reading this book. In fact I wasn't even sure I wanted to read this book. But I thought what the heck I'll give it another go. And I'm so glad I did. I thought this book was so much better than the others.
I really liked Zack. Even though he is a man-who*e, player. And even though Zack is the way he is, I've thought since meeting him in Gunner's book, that he is probably one of the smarter ones. Or maybe not smarter, but seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I liked that he was willing to protect Nicole and her son Liam, no matter the cost.
I really liked Nicole in this book. I thought she was a young woman who had gotten herself stuck in a situation and was trying to figure a way out of it. I thought she was sweet, kind, and caring. And I could understand her hesitation with Zack.
As I said above I did find this book much more enjoyable than the last two in this series. There's a lot, and I do mean a lot that is going on in this book that kept my attention. It was nice seeing some of the regulars making an appearance in this book.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!
***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***
I've been with this series from the beginning and I love each and every book in the series. I am forever #TeamDax but Zack ranked right up there. I absolutely loved how Zack treated Nicole and her son, Liam, from the beginning. He just wants to protect her and her son by getting them away from her abusive ex-boyfriend, who happens to be in a rival MC that Zack's MC wants to do business with. Even with the business deal still in place the situation with Nicole put Zack in a precarious position within his club trying to protect her. Spider, Nicole's ex-Old Man, doesn't want to let her go even though he sleeping with anybody and everybody. He feels like he owns her especially since she has his son, but he definitely doesn't love her. Nicole just wants to get away from Spider and she will take any form of help, even from Zack, which she doesn't want to because she feels that all men in a MC are just like Spider. Zack has an uphill battle to prove to Nicole that everyone in a MC isn't like her ex. When Spider finally gets his hands on Nicole and her son Liam will Zack be able to get to them in time to save them?
** I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review **
Amount of sex 4 / 5 How explicit 4 / 5 Story 4 / 5 Overall: 4 / 5
Zack is a standalone romance as well as the fourth book in the Southside Skulls MC series by author Jessie Cooke. This is the first that I have read in the series and I didn’t have any issues with following along. Many characters from earlier books do appear within the story, but Ms. Cooke does a great job of not making it confusing for those that have not read the earlier books.
In this story, Zack is a nomad for the Southside Skulls MC. While at a meeting with Spider, a member of a rival MC, Zack sees Spider threaten a woman, Nicole, and her child. Spider decides to step in to help them and jeopardizes the business agreement between the two MCs. Zack and Nicole are attracted to each other, but Nicole doesn’t want to get involved with another biker after what happened with Spider. Knowing she needs time, Zack continues to give it time and just be protective of them.
What will happen with Nicole and her son are in trouble? Will Zack be able to choose between his MC and his feelings for the woman?
A suspenseful and steamy novel and a definite add to your TBR list!
This book was AWESOME! Zack is a nomad in an MC. He doesn't do relationships and he certainly doesn't do kids. Except Nicole, the woman he saved from an abusive ex, and her son turn all that around.
God, Zack was everything! A badass biker, sexy as hell, hilarious at times, but what really did me in and made me turn into a puddle of goo was how much he loved Nicole and Liam. Right from the start he would do anything to keep them safe and proves that over and over again throughout the book. The sacrifices he was willing to make, the chances he was willing to take all to keep his woman and her son happy and safe had me falling hard and fast for him.
Nicole was a sweet woman who just wanted to do what was best for her baby. She was determined to save them both from her ex no matter the cost. I loved her for how strong she was through everything they went through. She never once gave up and didn't waiver for a second when it came to Zack either. He was it for her and she knew it.
With a bit of suspense and action, along with a ton of sexy heat reading Zack was my favorite way to spend an afternoon.
Zack: Southside Skulls MC #4 By Jessie Cooke *Disclaimer: I received this book for free from Enticing Journeys Book Promotions. The following review is my own with no promises, compensation, or input from the author or Enticing Journeys*. ****AVAILABLE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED**** Oh my, this is the third MC book I’ve read this month, and man have I been missing out on this addictive sub-genre. Zack is everything you want in a biker, with a couple extra kinks that just make him that much better. There is approximately 354 pages in this book, and the writing is so well done that it sucks you in and can read it in one setting. The character development is so spot on you forget for a moment that these are not real people, but an author’s fantasy world. I loved getting sucked into the MC world vicariously through this talented author’s writing. The brutal vengeance, the epic love, the unending loyalty. There is nothing else like it than the brotherhood of bikers, and Jessie Cooke delivers this feeling in spades.
A Great MC series, I was really looking forward to Zack’s story having read Gunner. I was intrigued as to how protecting a woman and her baby from her crazy psycho ex, was going to affect the renowned bachelor biker and his freaky ways.
This story has both light and dark elements. Zack and Nicole’s story follows as they try to avoid messy situations, including his family and affiliations with the Head Hunters MC in Texas and Nicole’s ex who is a member of the Defenders MC (a club that Zack’s MC are trying to work with). Meanwhile Nicole is stuck between trusting Zack, avoiding her ex, Spider, protecting and doing what is right for her son and her growing feelings for the dirty talking biker.
We are exposed to story lines involving domestic violence, strength and will to overcome your situation in life, you should never judge a book by its cover, taking risks and following your heart, manipulation of the justice system for personal gain, the dark side of custody battles and renewed hope. All in one place you couldn’t ask for more.
Nicole really needed a knight in shinning armour, her violent ex-husband Spider, who won't face the facts that she is now free of their destructive marriage, is still threatening her, and she needs to escape with her son. Luckily Zack just happens to be meeting with Spider for some club business and hears of her plight. Now Zack's conscience is torn with the dilemma of helping a woman and child over working club business. There's a lot of happening in Zack, lots of characters from previous stories, lots of questions and a heated chemistry between Nicole and Zack that takes them both by surprise. But will Zack stand up for a woman he doesn't really know, he was a compassionate guy but still an MC brother. And Spider, yikes! He was a nasty dude, definitely the bad guy in the story. Every time I read a new Southside Skulls MC it feels like a favourite and Zack is no exception. I now eagerly await the next book in the series, Levi.
This is the 4th book in this amazing series, and in my opinion, each book just gets better and better. Zack “Attack” is a wild nomad who can have any woman he wants, and the last thing he wants is any relationship. Nicole and her son Liam have escaped from a life of hell with her dangerous ex who will do anything to get them back. Another side of Zack appears with Nicole’s entry into his life, he is softer, passionate, and sweet. All he wants to do is help and protect her in any way he can. It is great to have interaction with the characters from the previous books. No spoilers; this is a must read for all MC lovers, you will not be disappointed! This is a beautifully written storyline from an author who is one of my all time favourites, and I was hooked from the very beginning as always. I highly recommend this author’s work for all, and cannot wait to read more from her. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!

Another awesome read about MCs. Zack isn't in the Southside Skulls MC but he is with a MC that has friendly dealings with them. Each book before introduces the next character for the upcoming book. Zack is know as an egotistical, smart aleck but he does has a soft spot and that is women and children. When he sees Spider, a man from another MC Zack is meeting to set up a deal, speak rudely and hit his old lady, Zack can't handle it. After knocking out Spider, he knows he's going to be in big trouble with his MC. He give Nicole his number and tells her to call him anytime. Nicole has no plans to call Zack but when Spider, now her ex, leaves her stranded, she calls Zack. Zack is shocked to find himself liking Liam, Nicole's baby. After getting Nicole an apartment away from Spider, he gets to know her...really well ;) But Spider won't leave her alone. This was an awesome read and the best scenes were between Zack and Liam!
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
Wow, what a story. And it finally answers a lot of questions, what was left over by Gunner's story. This story follows Zack and Nicole, who we met in Gunner.
I loved Zack, he always had a bad boy personality, and was a big player. He never wanted to settle down, he loved his women too much. He has a huge heart, and won't let anyone get away with anything. He is loyal to his brotherhood, even though he is known as a nomad. He loves being on the road, and he loves being free.
I loved Nicole, she is loving and caring. She loves her son Liam with all his heart, and just wants the best for him. She is closed off to bikers, after the debacle with Spider. And I understand her reservations.
This book makes you realised, you can't judge someone by their DNA.
I really liked this book, and can't wait for more. wtmo
Loved it!!!! This was my favorite one of the series so far. All of them were great but this one took it to 5 stars instead of 4 for me. Firstly, I knew Zack was a great guy and this story proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt. The way he was with Nicole and especially how he was with Liam just warmed my heart. It is quite amazing how he turned out with the "parents" he had. I use the term parents very lightly in this case. Loved Nicole also. She's a great mother and a fighter. This story was once again action packed. I actually felt a little bad for Kyle but was happy to find out what we did about Cody. Love all the characters and really looking forward to Levi's story - I have a feeling its going to be a heartbreaker.
These books get better and better. Zack Attack Leoni was introduced in the last book. I like Zack he's a damn trip. Zack is a nomad, he left the club his dad was President because he didn't agree with the things he did. He was also Tammy's first love. Zack met Nicole when he was going to meet an associate of another club. The guy, Spider, was being abusive to his ex and mother of his child. Zack gave Nicole his number and told her to call him if she ever needed help. Nicole calls him and he moves her and her friend to a different apartment. There were some inconsistencies in this book like in the last book the baby's name was Chase. I'm not holding it against her because it was a good story. Looking forward to Levi's story.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Zack was introduced in the last book titled Gunner. I liked him then, I like him even more now. The only unfavorable thing I can say about this book is that Zack is not a Southside Skull, so I’m curious as to why it is part of this series. Other than that, it was a really good book. Zack is being pulled in so many different directions between his heart, his club, his family and what he feels is right.
Nicole is a likeable character. She shows her strength towards the end of the book and really steps up when it’s needed. I like these two characters together and I love how Zack loves Liam. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and give this one 4.5 stars.
Jessie Cooke's Zack has to be one of the hottest biker's around; he's enough to drive a women crazy with his love-making skills. Of course that's not all Zack is good at. Trouble finds him everywhere he goes, but he seems able to handle it all without too much effort. Southside Skulls MC series has been a solid continuous story so far and I've enjoyed each book that lead up to Kane which is a step above the previous encounters. I'm looking forward to the fifth book in the series, Liam. It's already in my to read list, so I just have to open it. Before I do that, go buy yourself book one of this series Dax and get started on this MC Series.
I have been flying through these books. I've read all the Westside and Early Years now I'm going back to the southside. On #5 of that group. I just had to stop a second and say I love the way Jessie Cooke writes. I'm sitting laughing so hard I'm crying and trying to read through the tears. Zack has his own way of talking to his son Liam that you just can't get enough of. I am going to miss that in the upcoming books. I hope we hear more about Mona too, I for one am surprised she didn't try to swap the diamond for time off. GREAT READS! All of them! (I did skim through some "alot" of the sexcapades.)
Zack is in this dump of a bar waiting for a contact with another MC for his MC to do business with when this women holding a blue baby blanket comes into the bar followed by his contact. That’s when the guy becomes mean to the women with the baby in her arms pushing her back out of the bar and yelling for her to get a cab and go home she keeps telling him she done but he’s not listening. That’s when the guy makes a mistake he slaps her and Zack steps in and beats the guy. This could jeopardize his MC deal. But thing will get worst and Zack and Nicole end up together but with a hole lot more trouble. So enjoy another good read to see if they get a HEA!!
Zack may be an egotistical, arrogant, and self centered jerk to most, but he's hiding a huge heart of gold behind the facade. Nicole and Liam appeared out of nowhere, but once he saw them, as well as the trouble that they were in, he couldn't let them go. It was a wild ride with lots of ups and downs, but they finally got their HEA. It's certainly a story that you won't want to miss! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and great author.
I have really enjoyed each story line so far in this series. What is really making me give just a 3 star review is the sex scenes. I find them boring and way to long. When it takes 10 or more pages to describe it and it happens over and over throughout the book I just get to the point that I just flip the pages until something else comes up. Otherwise it would be a great book. An occasional moment is fine but overkill is the problem in this series. " I want meat to the story not just them hopping in bed every 5 minutes.
