Hopeless romantic. Never did two words describe anyone more than Quinn Jacobs…or at least in her mind. Quinn refuses to believe that her fun-loving idealist ways and sentimental dreamer mentality can be mistaken for a creepy class A clinger. When she makes a bet with her best friends from high school that she’ll be married within a year, her delusional skewed view makes her think the task seems simple enough. After, repeatedly misinterpreting her romantic partner’s affection for her, Quinn begins to think that maybe it isn’t ‘them’ after all. Maybe she’s the problem. And never has a person agreed with her more than the edgy and mysterious Paxton. They may be oil and water but if he can help her find a guy and accomplish her year-end goal, then who cares. But she slowly realizes that her whimsical ways may have agreed her to a world with Pax that she hadn’t bargain for! Paxton Wolfe prides himself on “keeping it real.” Growing up in Orange Mound, Tennessee, taught him that if you want anything in life you had to work for it. When he starts his own flooring business, he kindly kissed away his thuggish lifestyle and entered the world of entrepreneurship. Women, money and full control are the perfect combination. Romance is just an unnecessary distraction and the last thing Pax is looking for. However; he hadn’t planned for the bubbly, outgoing and clueless Quinn Jacobs to walk into his life. He’s prepared to put in the work to help her land her dream man, but the one thing he didn’t count on is the slow burning affection he starts to feel for the neurotic – yet mesmerizing – woman. Her uncontrollable honesty, endearing cuteness and inability to not wear her heart on her sleeve, makes her the most dangerous woman to fall for. But he’s not in danger of that… right? Once Upon a Bridesmaid Yours Forever by Sherelle Green (Book 1) Beyond Forever by Elle Wright (Book 2) Embracing Forever by Sheryl Lister (Book 3) Hopelessly Forever by Angela Seals (Book 4)
Quinn was a trust fund baby that was a hopeless romantic. She ran men off because she came across as needy and desperate despite being talented and beautiful. Pax was a former drug dealer turned into a businessman. Their upbringing caused them to clash, but despite their differences their chemistry was off the charts. This book was pacing well, but then it accelerated quicker than I expected. I wanted more character development of Pax. He was extremely venerable and I wanted to understand his feelings during their time apart. I think there was an opportunity to avoid excelling the relationship and allowing for a real courtship.
As the series come to a close, I had high hopes for Quinn as the originator of the pact. I am not sure what I anticipated but somehow, something about this felt rushed. What started as a nice build up of character development and plot, turned into a fizzle. Quinn and Paxton definitely were and opposite attract couple. It begged to reason that more who have happened as they battled to accept their love for one another.
Quinn being plagued with insecurities was needed to be fleshed out. Paxton's past and road to redemption needed to be fleshed out.
After a string of failed relationships, and with three months left on the marriage pact she foolishly agreed to, Raven Holloway has just about given up on love. To take the sting out of her latest heartbreaker Darren, who wants her to quit her career working with athletes and work at a nursing home, she does what she’s always done—seek consolation in the arms of her best friend, Bryson Montgomery. Only this time, comfort turns to white-hot pleasure and a night she can’t seem to forget. But the strong-willed (physical therapist) doesn’t want to ruin a 12-year friendship and isn’t ready to trust her heart again. Marriage is definitely not on Bryson’s radar. He has his hands full running his (teen community center). Yet, he isn’t prepared for the passion Raven unleashes in him and now he wants more. Raven is determined to keep him in the friend zone, but he’s just as driven to show her how good they can be together. So, Bryson devises a seductive campaign to persuade Raven to embrace what he is offering…a love that will last forever.
Quinn, the hopeless romantic among her friends, thought she had this Best Friend Challenge in the bag only to find out that she was lagging behind. Everything she believed about love was not working for her and then along comes her unexpected surprise in the form of Paxton Wolfe.
Paxton was instantly drawn to Quinn and her plight. What he thought he was doing to help Quinn find a husband, actually turned into him falling hopeless in love with her. Even with their differences and what they thought would hinder a relationship with one another, they were the person they needed in their life.
This series was really good. I'm now looking forward to the next phase of these BFFs and their gorgeous husbands.
Quinn was a hopeless romantic! She and her three best girlfriends made a marriage pact after Ava’s wedding. The pact was that the remaining four friends would be married before Ava’s first anniversary. Everyone had gotten married except Quinn, and she was the one that came up with the marriage pact. She didn’t think she would ever find her mate. Finally Paxton walks into her life. He came to install her flooring, but she got more than she bargained for. Pax wasn’t the type of man she envisioned herself with. He was a little rough around the edges, due to his previous way of life. They ended up being right for each other. All of the friends ended up finding true love. I loved this series! Well done Angela Seals!! ❤️🔥
Hopelessly Forever is a good read. Quinn Jacobs is a hopeless romantic who makes a pact with three of her best friends that all will find love and marry in one year. The pact is almost up and Quinn has yet to find her forever love. Paxton Wolfe enters her life as a flooring guy but captures her attention and possibly her heart along the way. Due to his rough upbringing he feels he doesn't deserve a woman like Quinn and of course he's not the relationship type of guy. Will Pax realize that Quinn could be the one? Will Quinn allow Pax's past to define their future? Hopelessly Forever is a quick and engaging read. It's a page turner from cover to cover.
The originator of the "marry-within-the year" Best Friend challenge at their fifth friend Ava's wedding, Quinn Jacob cannot understand why she, the most romantic of the four, is still single, while her three friends are happily married! Who knew that deciding to have her floors redone would change her life! Meeting Paxton Wolfe gave a new meaning to the term "opposites attract," but also set Quinn on an unlikely journey into love! Angela Seals does a magnificent job in this book, of showing that sometimes, what you need becomes what you love!! Read the book to find out why!
Hopelessly Forever (Once Upon A Bridesmaid Book 4)
Cute & sweet Quinn Jacobs is the romantic one out of her close girlfriends. She proposed a challenge at Ava's wedding. Each woman would be married within a year. Quinn turned out to be the last lady to find love with an unlikely tough street guy named Oaxton (Pax) Wolfe.
He turmed his life around by starting his own flooring business and leaving the streets alone. . Pax & Quinn were both sprung after their first meeting and began dating. Cool characters & a cute story that ended HEA.
Excellent series (Once Upon a Bridesmaid)! Quinn was adorable, and I could sense her problem from the beginning - she wanted love so bad that she jumped before she got to know the person. Pax was the perfect man for her, he understands her.
To all involved with this series, I give kudos for a job well done. Congratulations to Sheryl Lister, Sherelle Green, Elle Wright and Angela Seals for a job well done! Keep up the good work.
I think book 4 of this series was my favorite of all. Paxton Wolfe was not the type of man that Quinn Jacobs saw herself taking for but he was exactly the type of man she needed. Quinn was from a totally different world than Paxton but after one meeting he was drawn to her. Their love story was quick and passionate. Two people from two different worlds come together to make one world TOGETHER. LOVED THIS STORY. It was not long enough.
Quinn finally gets her HEA! This was a great wrap up/final installment of this multi author series. This was a great example of opposites attract and how love can hit when you least expect it. While the main section of this installment didn’t make a lot of connections to the arc of the series, the epilogue was a perfect wrap up.
This was my first time reading a book written by Angela Seals, like the first two books in this series, I enjoyed it immensely, however I wasn't as comfortable with some of the language used! Even though I felt that Quinn was a little desperate, I was still in her corner when it came to finding true love with Paxton!
I Thought this was the best in the series. I enjoyed the other books, but I liked this author's writing style the best. I'm glad everyone got their happy ending. I hope the author does a story on Pax's brother Jackson, I think there is a story there to be told. Good work ladies, I hope we get a follow-up on them.
This is a awesome book! I love the characters and the fact that they are total opposites but complemented each other wonderfully. Pax thug exterior was nothing compared to the gentleman he was with Quinn. I really enjoyed reading this book! Well written and held my attention to the end.
For a second, I thought Quinn was a nutcase. But she proved that she was a vulnerable woman that has been rejected and wanted to be loved. 😍 Paxton wasn't relationship type of guy but Quinn was just too lovable to reject. Their story will have you going.
My second favorite story in the Once Upon A Bridesmaid series. This story is a lesson in open your eyes to see what's in front of you. Well written, Pax and Quinn were friends that we see every day went fears and dreams.
This is the 1st book I read by Angela Seals. This book's story line was okay. I liked the hot & steamy scenes. I really liked Pax's character. Quinn's character was okay. The ending was okay. This story felt rushed.
Great book can not wait for next book . I am looking forward for the next pack with the girls. I love these writer. I read other book by these writer. Can not wait(:
Quinn and Paxton's story reminds us to never judge a book by its cover. Who you think might be the one for you may not be who you actually need. I loved the way the book ended...
This was a love story about Quinn Jacobs and Paxton Wolfe who came to install new floors. They began as complete opposed to the same view of the future. Quinn won him over showing a different type of living. Their opposition led to happily ever after.
Love has a way of making everything right. It may not always come in the package that you expect, but it’s perfect for the right person at the right time.
I enjoyed reading this book I loved Pax & Quinn unexpected attraction for one another! They were good for one and I’m happy they got their happily ever after!
