It just came out and I read it too fast!!
Rooster just came out and I read it too fast -- so now it's over! Oh no.....because who knows how long it will be until the next book is released??
I LOVE the Babylon series. I wish I could read a constant stream of these books. Rooster is no exception. It is fabulous! Action-packed, with continued fresh situations that hold your interest. Just a great ride!

Couldn't read it fast enough!
It's hard to be objective in reviewing the Road to Babylon Series because I am such a big fan of the Purge of Babylon Series that I am definitely biased, but I'll try. I don't think the books in the Road Series are stand-alone books. By that I mean two things: 1) you need to read the Purge Series first for all the background (and enjoyment) it will provide, and 2) each book in the Road Series feels incomplete. It's not just that they're so good (which they are) you can't wait for the next book in the series to come out, you're left with a cliffhanger so if you want to know what happens next you HAVE to read the next book (which I don't mind doing since I intend to do it anyway). Now, after all that, let me say I couldn't put this book (Rooster) down, as happens with all of Sisavath's books. Sam Sisavath is absolutely one of the best writers of this genre, so, if you haven't already read the Purge of Babylon Series or the accompanying Purge of Babylon Stories, read those first. You won't regret it.

Get your Keo on again!
In this third book in the Road to Babylon series Keo returns to endure another round of pain both suffered and inflicted. It's just Keo, sounds like mayo, because everything else was taken. It was really enjoyable to follow Keo's exploits again. Since his first appearance in Purge of Babylon series, I've loved reading his quick banter and wit.
Keo is still accompanied by Horse. His enigmatic four-legged companion with a mind and will of his own carries Keo into and out of danger as they continue their struggle with the blue eyed ghoul and his mindless minions. The storyline is fast and furious with nonstop action broken only by brief periods of unconsciousness.
This latest chapter in the Babylon saga is entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable. I heartily recommend this read!

Always so Good
The writing is so good, I felt like I was there along side Keo as he faced the ghouls. I love Keo, he has always been one of my favorite characters. The addition of Horse is awesome. That animal has spunk and belongs at Keo's side. Loved seeing Lara and Keo together again and am hoping for some romance there....hint hint...still in the dark about the plans Buck has with the ghouls in Fenton, but I have a feeling the blue eye Ghoul will turn on Buck in a heartbeat. This series is just as thrilling as the first and with Keo being a major player, I have been a very happy reader. Looking forward to the next book. If you have not read this series or the first one, you are missing one of the best series out there in this genre. The writing is pure genius!

Another amazing book!
This is yet another AMAZING book in the Babylon Universe! I loved it from start to finish!
The only thing that upset me about this book was that I picked it up, started reading it and couldn’t put it down until I was done. That makes the wait for the next book almost too much to handle.
I love everything about Keo and I’m so glad he (Sam) chose to write more of Keo’s (and Horse’s) story.
Though, now I have to wait forever for the next book in the series.
I started re-reading the Purge of Babylon so the wait doesn’t kill me.
If you haven’t read The Purge of Babylon series yet, you really should!

Very interesting book adding even more action and intrigue into the series. I have an idea what is going on in Fenton with the women and children. Since I'm just speculating here don't hold me to it, but I'm thinking perhaps the ghouls are making new sun resistant ghouls. I don't know. What I do know, is I can't stop reading these books. I've already started the fourth in the Road to Babylon series. I still haven't read Mason's War to determine if my hunch that, again I'm just speculating here don't hold me to it, Mason is Jonah. I don't know. I'll keep reading just like you will if you've started this series. Keep it Mr. Sisavath.

Great read!!
Another excellent chapter in The Purge series. Ken shows why he is a great addition to the stories. He's definitely not Will, Danny or even Gaby but he brings another element to the series. He rarely makes the best of his options and survives when others don't but the is the way he does things. I would like to see more of Danny and Gaby before the series runs its course.

I usually love Sam Sisavath books and especially the Road to Babylon series and the Purge of Babylon series. But Rooster was a bit disappointing. This story centered around Keo, and while I like Keo, it read like the previous book which featured him and not much of anything new really happened. I'm not sure I will continue with Book 4 of Road to Babylon, but I am going to move on to After the Purge series and see if that provides a new perspective.

Another fine mess you have left me anticipating.
Another fine addition to the Road to Babylon series. Now I get to sit and wait for the next addition. I was afraid that Sam had run the course of this storyline but I was wrong. A small side step then all ahead full. Again I say, well done Mr. Sisavath

Madness, Mayhem, Ghouls... and Keo!
Book 3 is as good as books 1 and 2 and as far as that goes just as good if not better than the original Purge series. Lots of lost sleep with these books as they are so hard to set down. Not a real spoiler alert but Keo continues to defy all odds. Great book!

Awesome! Can't get enough...
I love this whole series, it keeps getting better and better. Then just when you think it's over, another installment is released. Keep on keeping on Sam!

Really enjoying this “after” series
I like this after the purge series even more than the first. I’m glad Sam Sisavath continued down a slightly different path with the same familiar people

Ambivalence
I hate to finish any Babylon book, but as long as I know that another will be forthcoming, I can stand the pain of loss. I just hope that I won't have to wait too long for the next one.

I just love this guy's style. Nothing to dislike, waiting for the next one.

Love these connected series and looking for to the next book. I hope the wait is not too long. This series about Leo ( who I love) has too much self conversations!

Extremely interesting and totally enjoyable.

Another great one pushing Keo to the limit!
Keo is a great character and there are a few new ones introduced in this book in the series. It might be a little long at times but it delivers in the end. Starting the next one in the series.

I never thought I'd like a book about ghouls but Sam Sisavath is the master ghoul writer. Leo is also a nut and a great character. Looking forward to the next book.
