My name is Kaeleen Donovan. I’m a Theosian—a minor goddess. They call me Fury.
By day, I run the Crossroads Cleaning Company, and I also read fortunes and cast hexes at Dream Wardens, a magical consulting shop. But by night, I'm oath-bound to Hecate, goddess of the Crossroads. Hecate charged me from birth with the task of hunting down Abominations who come in off the World Tree and sending them back to Pandoriam.
We’ve settled into the Wild Wood and have begun to rebuild our home, taking what we can from the past to work toward the future. When I have a vision in which Gaia shows me how to stop the Order of the Black Mist, I realize that we must return to the fallen city of Seattle for one last stand at the World Tree. But there’s a spy in our midst, determined to stop us.
As destiny brings me face-to-face with my future, I face a terrifying decision—either I save the world from chaos and sacrifice a dear friend to the enemy, or I let Lyon win and plunge the world into a hellish nightmare from which there’s no awakening.

Wow! Just...wow! Ms. Galenorn's writing keeps getting better and better.
I didn't think I'd enjoy this series when I first started it - I'm not a huge fan of dystopian fiction - and now I'm sad to see it end. There are hints in this book of more to come, and Ms. Galenorn has said she plans to write more books in this world. I'll be waiting eagerly, and probably rereading the Fury Unbound story arc while I do.(Yes, I'm a rereader.)
Maybe one of the most special (if heartbreaking) things about reading this book was how close to reality it is. Yeah, I know it's paranormal romance, and most of us don't have pantheons of gods and goddesses living next door, but...reading this right now, at the end of August 2017 during two major natural disasters (flooding in Texas, and on the Indian subcontinent), the ongoing plot theme of weather magic causing world destruction through magically-created weather catastrophes feels painfully close to reality. Fury and her people use magic to make things better, but they can't reverse the destruction. They can't save everybody. While that makes for some sad reading, I appreciate the realness of it all.
Reading Fury Calling was an emotional rollercoaster of the best kind. I went from happy, to scared, to worried, to sobbing-level sad (lots of tears reading this one!), and finally, beautiful joy at the end. Yes, there is a (mostly) happy ending.
It's hard to talk about this book without giving away major plot points, or letting clues slip about character development. This is the final book in a four book story arc (yeah, you really should read the first three books first). The world Fury and her friends (and enemies) live in has imploded, and they (the "good guys" anyway) are working on stopping the destruction, while also rebuilding. Meanwhile, we have shape-shifting (it comes in handy to have a friend who can shift into a bird of prey), magic, lots of bread and cheese (really! They're always eating bread and cheese) and some sweet, tender love-making. So, all the ingredients of a fantastic paranormal romance novel!
Her name was Fury, an oath-bound Theosian (minor goddess) who hunted down abominations who came into our world from the World Tree and sent them back to Pandoriam. After retreating from Seattle after the Order of the Black Mist unleashed a systematic attack across the world and then a Tsunami hit Seattle afterwards, Fury and her friends and allies find themselves rebuilding in to the Wild Wood, taking what they can from the past to rebuild for the future. But Fury, while training with Hecate gets a vision from Gaia, she realizes they need to have one last stand in Seattle with the Lyon and his minions. But there is a traitor in their midst, one who will stop at nothing to stop Fury and her friends from stopping Lyon from opening the door to the Chaos realm.
FURY CALLING is a heart stopping wild ride from start to finish. The author has been leading up to this book in the first three books and we get the satisfying conclusion to this story arc in FURY CALLING. But let me warn you that you need to start from the beginning of this series, Fury Rising, to understand all the characters and events mentioned in FURY CALLING. I just fell in love with this series right from the start. Ms. Galenorn delivers a story that spans four books, includes some of the most amazing cast of characters that I have read and a storyline that just held me in thrall. Her attention to character development and storyline advancement is phenomenal. I got to admit this author’s way into world building just awes me to pieces. The story flows smoothly and keeps the reader on the edge of their seat till the very end. Hang on to y our hats, readers, it’s about to get wild.
FURY CALLING is a story about new beginnings and endings, happy and sad. With a breakneck speed, the story winds its way around you as you flip the pages and race alongside these intriguing characters. The twists and turns this author gives the readers kept me glued to the pages. You will laugh, cry, smile and cheer even as some sadness as these beloved characters find themselves at war with Lyon and the Order of the Black Mist. Can they stop this manic from unleashing even more horrors upon the world? Will Gaia unleash another storm to corral the people here on earth? This author does an amazing job in keeping the reader glued to the pages and I for one am eager for more. So even as this story ARC is done, I am hopeful the author comes back to Fury, Tam and the gang in the future because I would love to see what they are up to and what storm awaits them in the shadows.
This is an objective review and not an endorsement
**I received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review*** According to the author herself, this is just one part of the story arch and NOT the end for Fury and her beloved friends. With that in mind, I want to point out that this series is somewhat similar to Cicily and Rhiannon of the Night Court series. For those that hated to see that story line end, you will find comfort in this new series. Call me weird, but in this book, I enjoyed the heck out of some characters getting their just deserts. Gaia has given Fury, their only chance at survival, a way to close the portal to the realm of Chaos. If she doesn't succeed, it is made clear, mankind will be wiped out from the Mother of the Earth herself. The people of WildWood are beginning to learn to live with each other again, as most of the known cities are truly gone. This reminds me of homesteaders back in the early to mid 19th century. Learning how to live without cell towers, how to grow food, how to SURVIVE all over again. Fury is grappling with her whole world crashing around her and this time, the lesson's are even harsher from the one's learned in childhood. I felt this book was much faster paced than all the others, but I knew going in, this was to tie up some loose ends and close one piece of the arch. The emotions that dredged up while reading it was complete desperation, isolation, fear and complete loss and sorrow. I bawled by chapter 11. You may get teary eyed too. War has come and it is now or never, the sacrifices people make to get the job done should never go unnoticed. As always, by the end, this book brought hope. I believe that is the most important element to take away from this...war is terrible and there are steep prices to pay. But their can be beauty, love and hope after, if you know how to look for it. Even after betrayal. So think twice before you try to make Kaeleen pissed off and brokenhearted...for she is the Queen of Fury and you better proceed with caution.
****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and entirely my review****
So this is book four of the fury unbound series from Yasmine. Now I will admit I was a little iffy about the series the first time it came out but once I read it. It completely took me by surprise and I enjoyed every minute of these books. This book was intense a slow build at first but once it got to the dangers it barely stopped.
One of the things I have felt most in this series is the intense emotion of the characters. And a personal weeping for what they had to withstand. Also the disaster that happened on earth in this world.
In this book fury was shown a way to finally keep Lyon and the order of the black myst from summoning the Elder Gods of Chaos. The led up to the main event was a slow bubbling stream, it made me feel anxious as all hell too. The book will also make you cry just enough, and it was full of enough action too.
Overall this was the best book of the series a lot went on and a lot was left to be answered. I had a great time reading it from page one to the very end. If you are unsure of this series trust me it is worth it, it's something new and possibly exciting for you.
How to create a banquet for the imagination.... Take one baby, one mom, and one bit of stray magic. Mix thoroughly until well mixed, and bake baby for remainder of 9 months. What comes out is a piping hot dish of minor Goddess delight. "Fury Calling", is the fourth installment of the "Fury Unbound" Series. I devoured this book, and it left me wanting even more. Lady Yasmine has done it again with wonderful character that you get to know and love. Fury is smart, funny, sexy, and has a heart of gold for her friends/family. This character has come through trial after trial, and I wonder what she will face next, but I know that she is strong enough to take care of business. This is a series I can definitely recommend, especially if you like urban fantasy, not so urban fantasy, supernatural, and the post apocalyptic. This story will really illustrate that there are indeed many paths that one can take in life depending on the choices one makes. **** I received a free copy of this book, and this is a voluntary review****
I loved this book! It was great to jump back into Fury's world, and see how the story continued. This is the 4th book, and while probably could be read as a stand alone, the events would probably be confusing without the backstory. I definitely recommend this series! Fury and the gang have fled Seattle. Underbarrow has moved, and a new home is in the works. Fury alone was given a vision by Gaia, and she must journey back to Seattle to close the portal to Chaos on the One World Tree. This is the story of her adventure as Fury works to close the portal, stop the Order of the Black Mist, and rebuild life without a city. I love reading stories of the Gods and Goddesses with character and emotions, and made into people. I was quite pleased that the end of the book left the character threads tied off into a satisfactory conclusion. This story arc has come to a close for the time being, but Ms. Galenorn says there will be more to come in the future. I will be anxiously awaiting more stories of Fury! *I received a free copy of this book, and this is a voluntary review.*
Kaeleen Donovan, Hecate, and the World Tree and more in this book. They were on a another adventure in this book. We had to stop the Order of the Black Mist! We go on this adventure and learn how Fury will fit in Tam's world when it is all said and done. It was a another good book from Yasmine. I enjoy her books very much! Thanks Yasmine!
Round up to 4.5 stars. I'm sad to say goodbye to this world and these characters. Hopefully, Ms. Galenorn will write more in this world sooner rather than later.
Everything is changing. Moving from Seattle to the woods. Seattle pretty much a ghost town literally!! Fury has to close the portal to Chaos!! What else can happen???
Fury Calling by Yasmine Galenorn is book four in her Fury Unbound series. In this book we are reunited with Fury, Tam, Jason and all of the others. Seattle has fallen. The Order of the Black Mist, by using weather magic, released a tsunami that destroyed the world order as they knew it. Fury has been training with Hecate to claim her flame. Hecate knows that more is coming and that Fury must be prepared to face the dangers ahead. Lyon is searching for the portal to the realm of Chaos to bring the old gods through. He wishes to plunge the world into further chaos and Fury must do what she can to bring that plan to a screeching halt. Fury’s life is about to change in more ways than one. Gaia visits her in a vision and shows her where she must go and what she must acquire in order to be successful in her mission. A traitor is in their midst and makes themselves known by using yet another old weapon from the weather wars. Their true identity will not be known until it is almost too late. Sacrifices will be made and not everyone will live to see the light of a new year. Fury Calling is a book that reaches up and grabs you right from the beginning. Fury and her friends are reeling from the loss of Seattle. The Order of the Black Mist wastes no time letting the residents know the truth about the government who once lorded over them. The truth comes out and the old world order is shattered and shed. So many lives have been lost, first with the zombies that were unleashed by the Order. Followed by the government’s heartlessness using the population as fodder to slow down the undead; to the tsunami that wiped out those who were less fortunate. Despite the darkness all around there are bright spots that shine and promise a bright future. Now, they must just work to survive and make it to the end. Tensions run high at times between the group of friends as they adjust to the new world order that is arising out of the ashes. Fury has some big shoes to step into but she’s more than capable of taking on the task. This is book is not the final book in this series but it is the final book in this arc. There are some questions left unanswered, but I feel that the author does a good job with this book. Fury Calling engages you from the beginning and keeps you engaged all the way to the end. There are moments of where I wish that I could just shake some of the characters. There are times when their stubbornness just drives me crazy but it adds to the storyline for me. Each character is so unique and I love the small details and little surprises. If you are a fan of Yasmine Galenorn and have read up to this book in her Fury Unbound series then I highly recommend you pick this book up. You won’t be disappointed. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. There is so much going on in this book that it never really lets up. I look forward to returning to Fury’s world when the time is right and continuing on my journey with her as the world restructures itself with the new changes that have come. I received a copy of this book for review.
Fury Calling is the fourth and unfortunately for the moment the last book in the Fury Unbound Series. First and foremost, I love this series, maybe because of all the Gods, whose history I learned in school, or maybe because I can really imagine living in this little village. This series just drew me in and I am incredibly sad that it ended. But it ended on a good note, which I really was hoping for. And the ending was so that it is left open to maybe a few more books down the road, who knows. Now, if you have not read the 3 previous Fury books it is possible to jump into this one, but you will be missing the wonderful character development that is always present in Mrs. Galenorn’s books. You come to love the characters and you live with the characters. So don’t miss out. In this last book Fury must make very tough choices while the world around her is changing. Being a minor goddess is not easy and being chosen to prevent their world from imploding is a big task. With the help of her friends and family, she avoids destruction of their world, has a vital part in rebuilding their community and prepares for her life with her lover the Fey Lord Tam. This book has all the elements I love about Mrs. Galenorn’s writing: you laugh, you cry a little, you get scared for the characters and you feel the happiness with them. So if you, like me, love a fantastic paranormal romance novel, this is the book for you. But be prepared for long night reading, as it is incredibly hard to put this book down. Trust me, I spent 3 nights reading until 2 am, telling myself just to finish this chapter and another one, and another one…….

Galenorn does not disappoint with her final installment of the Fury series!
If you're into the fantasy genre, this series has a bit of everything: romance, action, zombies, (possible) aliens, magic, gods, fae and a bad ass female super hero!
The main character, Fury, is a Theosian minor goddess who is dedicated to the Hecate, goddess of the crossroads. The series follows Fury as she and her friends escape a fallen Seattle and discover who's friend or foe with the Order of the Black Mist. Fury and her allies are fated to save the world from complete oblivion.
To understand Fury's world, imagine a world far into the future, where technology rules and the political climate is toxic. At one point in our human history, there was a world shift (cities and towns were destroyed) and as a result, mankind and members of the magical community (Fae, shifters, vampires, etc) had to rebuild their world....but only to a certain point because of the ruling political class. Now, thanks to the Order of the Black Mist, Seattle is destroyed and now Fury and her allies must rebuild the pieces that are left.
In this book, besides the action packed final showdown, we get a glimpse into how Fury and her friends will rebuild their world and claim their new roles. There's been a lot of pain and suffering but in the end, everything is as it's meant to be....
I really enjoyed the conclusion to the Fury series! It had a lot of heart as well as grit and it will be a series I go back and re read!
This series builds on the previous books to a very large extent. It’s best to start with Book 1 and continue in order for maximum understanding and enjoyment. The events leading up to Book 4, including the Weather Wars, Gaia’s angry response, Fury and Tam’s romance, Fury’s relationship with Hecate, and the allegiances of her team to various gods and goddesses, are important for understanding the events unfolding in this book. Book 4 starts about six months after Book 3 “Fury Awakened” as the Elder Gods have started joining Tam and the Bonny Fae, and Fury and her allies in the Wild Wood. The Order of the Black Mist is taking over cities all over the world and still trying to open the portal to Chaos and the Devani are apparently working with them. After sending an Abom back to Pandoriam, Fury uses her fire she’s learned to control to destroy the zombie vehicle. But now she’s been asked to be Tam’s queen and she’s agreed after getting Hecate’s blessing. Now a whole new phase of her life is beginning as the old one ends. Gaia gives Fury a mission that could mean the difference between continued life and total destruction. This leads to an unexpected betrayal and final showdown with Lyon as the Chaos portal is closed on the World Tree. Finally, Fury and Tam are married and things are peaceful for now, but Fury senses a dark storm approaching.
Fury Calling is the 4th book in the Fury Unbound Series by Yasmine Galenorn. Join Fury, the Theosian and Demi- goddess bound to Hecate, her lover Tam, Laren, Jason, Elan , Greta, Hans, and Tyrell and others as they accustom themselves to life in a post -apocalypse world. The Black Mist, with evil leader, Lyon, and the Devani, have joined forces, much to the chagrin of all. Out killing an Abom on the Crossroads, Fury has a vision of Gaia involving the World Tree. Gaia shows Fury that the only way to save the World is to destroy a portal and stop Lyon and the Black Mist from releasing the Gods of Chaos. Fury has one chance to destroy the portal, and stop Lyon and the Black Mist forever. But at what cost? And one of her team is a traitor, but whom? An incredible read, with so many twists and turns, I was truly on the edge of my seat with all the excitement and thrills. I loved this book, and Ms. Galenorn delivered yet another amazing read.
Ms. Galenorn has never failed to wrap me up in one of her books. Fury Calling had me on the edge of my seat with crazed and emotional ride that unfolded. As the last book of this particular story arc, I feel this journey has just begun. But I do know there will be more to come.
I find it very hard to review Fury Calling without spoilers. Let me just say, Fury is amazing. Ms. Galenorn’s attention to detail and the character development are spot on. Unexpected twist and more emotions that I was expecting had me flying through the pages. Change has shown the true depth and complexities of characters I have grown to love. I do believe Ms. Galenorn saved the best of this story arc for the last. Fury’s crazy, wild and dystopian like world is a fantastic place to get list in.
It is highly recommended to read the Fury Unbounded series in order to truly understand the characters and events of Fury Calling.

•••NOT for the homophobic, transphobic, closedminded, or faint of heart!•••
This series must be read in order. The first book is "Fury Rising". The second book is "Fury's Magic". The third book is "Fury Awakened". This is the fourth book. I can't wait to read "Fury's Mantle"!
Living in UnderBarrow and the Willow Wood took some getting used to. Gone were the trappings of modern society. No electronics or even electricity for that matter. Hecate is training her in her new elemental magic. Living with the Elder Gods is a learning experience to be sure. Soon enough Fury will be Queen of UnderBarrow and Princess of the Winter Court. Studying and practicing seems to be all she does until a vision from Gaia spends her world again. She has been called on for a special mission of great importance. Is she strong enough to see this through? Why her of all people? How can the fate of the world rest in her hands again?
****I received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review****
Wow. I'm not even really sure where to start. This is the last of this particular story arc in Fury world. Not the last book of Fury. Thank goodness. The war between The Order of the Black Mist and Fury is coming to an end. There is a traitor in the UnderBarrow and Fury is feeling all the emotions. They must come up with a plan to destroy the portal to the land of chaos, all the while rebuilding their lives in Willow Wood. There are also some personal complications thrown in that lead to some very hard choices for some of the crew. (NO spoilers lol) Will Fury save the world or will hers be destroyed? It has come down to the final hours. who will prevail.
Readers, if you haven't given this series a try, you just don't know what youre missing. Its a fast paced, thrill filled, emotional ride.
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review* This is the 4th book is the fury series. And the last arc of this series but that doesn't mean the series is ending yall!!! :) This book is an emotional rollercoster so be prepared. Gai as has giving fury the only way for them to to survive. If fury doesn't succeed the it's very clear that mankind will be wiped out by Mother Earth herself! Lyon and the order of the black mist is still up to no good. Lives will be lost and this will answer questions. And leave u with wanting more. Of course for those new to the fury unbound series it's a must u read the 1st 3 books in order before you read this one and the order can be found on miss Galenorn website. Www.galenorn.com o Pick up a copy either ebook or paperback. Again as with any books done by Yasmine I won't be disappointed! :)
Want to read something with a strong interesting heroine? Then check out Fury Calling, the 4th installment in Yasmine Galenorn's Fury Unbound series. Fury is a minor Goddess, who is dedicated to Hecate and hunts Abominations. She and her fiancé Tam, a Bonnie Fae prince move their people and companions to the wild woods, after their Seattle home is destroyed by a corrupt magic user. Fury and her companions are still tasked with figuring out a way to defeat he and his followers, and keep them from destroying the earth. Can she make the right decisions on time? Will allies show up? I highly recommend that you read this original and imaginative story. Read all four, so you can get to know the characters.

Fury reminds me of the characters I first fell in love with in the Otherworld Series. I have found this particular series to be so much fun as the excitement I felt learning that world and each new characters I find myself falling in love all over again in this amazing series! There are some very big changes that take place in Fury Calling and it never stops you flipping those pages. There is new Royalty to install, refugees to take care of, a traitor in the midst and Gaia has given Fury a specific task to complete before Lyon and his insane clown posse finds it first. I think I have given quite enough teasers at this point to get you hooked, you are very welcome!
This was not a very long series, but I think it was just right for Fury. I am hopeful that there will be more books set in this "world" because I loved all of the characters in this series. This book has a wonderful story in it, and a wonderful ending. It shows just how strong these people are and teaches you that you really must go on, no matter what happens.
The characters are quite strong, which I come to expect from this author. The story itself is so well written, I felt like I was part of the book. Yet again, it shows you that you can depend on your loved ones, they can help you become a stronger and better person. You are not alone.
I received a free copy of this book, and am giving a voluntary review. This series as a whole is a wonderfully woven tale of adventure and love. The fourth book is full of adventure. The loss of some things that Fury faces she faces with a load of courage and hope. Her love for Tam continues to grow and show along with her friendship with her Goddess. The way that this book is written gives the reader the ability to imagine the scenery with great detail. It truly is a must read and while I am terribly sad that the series ends with this one, I am happy to have been able to read this wonderful ending to Fury's story.♥

I read most of Fury Calling during Hurricane Irma. While there was chaos outside, I found comfort in escaping in Fury's world. Something struck a cord in me when magical weather was used for destruction. I enjoyed the suspense and action in book 4. At times, I wanted to smack some of the characters, but overall it was a fantastic book. Fury, Tam, and the gang show how reliance on friends and family is important during near impossible times. Though this is the end of this story arc, Yasmine has said this is not the end of Fury and her friends. I look forward to reading more of Fury in the future.
I received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review. Reading the fourth and final book in the Fury Unbound series was bitter sweet for me. I love this series and this book was just as fantastic as all the others but I was very sad it was the end of the series. There were a few plot twists that I never saw coming. And the ending was fantastic. I found myself laughing out loud, as well as crying during this book, like I do with so many of Yasmine's books. Hopefully we get to see more of Fury, Tam and the gang in a future series.
I enjoyed the last book to this story line. Fury settles into her new life wonderfully and deals with victory and loss as a true queen. She saves the day again, and makes great strides towards her destiny with Tam. I don't feel like this segment of her story was quite as involved as the previous books, which is why I only rated it 4 stars, but over all it was a neat and entertaining way to wrap up her adventures. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves post apocalyptic stories, or even just a good action book with some romance in the mix.
The final installment of the Fury Unbound series. This was definitely an adventure. It had heart stopping moments. I shared in exciting news with these characters... I fell in love with a prince and hung out with the gods like old friends. I felt I was in this new village, lost my home in Seattle... every adventure. I am so sad to see this series come to an end, but I would jump on it again and again. Without question. Yasmine has outdone herself in Furys world. So jump in and love it as much as I do.
I received a free copy of this book and this is a voluntary review.
Welcome back to Fury's world. A world of Aboms, princes and evil monsters. With the help of her friends, Fury sets out to save the world from evil, but at what cost?
Once again Ms. Galenorn draws you into her world's of magic, mayhem and bite your nails suspense.
This is the 4th installment in this series, it will draw you in, you will fall in love with these characters, it's hard not to.
If you have not yet started this series, now is the time and if you are new to Ms. Galenorn....now is the time.
Fury Calling is book 4 in the Fury Unbound Series, it is full of excitement, adventure, magic , and of course love, Fury is settling into her new home, and along with her friends, must save the world. Is one of those friends that she relies upon and is most dear to her a traitor? Fury's character and her relationships continue to grow. I will say this book and this series has been an amazing ride! You will most definitely love it! * I received an ARC of this book for a voluntary and honest review.
Sigh. Fury manages to tap dance in ice skates. Breathless in one moment, thought provoking in the next. Life will find a way... so long as the Chaos gods don't manage to force thru.
Times change. Civilizations rise and fall, all while the little things (and the big ones) still need done. Build a future one step at a time by integrating the past and the present.
