"SUPREME" REACHES ITS TURNING POINT! MATT MURDOCK's gambit reaches its endgame…but will this be the victory he was looking for, or the start of something far worse?
Charles Soule is a #1 New York Times-bestselling novelist, comics author, screenwriter, musician, and lapsed attorney. He has written some of the most prominent stories of the last decade for Marvel, DC and Lucasfilm in addition to his own work, such as his comics Curse Words, Letter 44 and Undiscovered Country, and his original novels Light of the Jedi, The Endless Vessel, The Oracle Year and Anyone. He lives in New York.
Interesting to read just one issue in an arc like this. I saw a headline that the supreme court scene was worth the price of admission and it was. I REALLY like the sentiment that the "powered" are people too. It's a reminder to the privileged to use that privilege to empower the less privileged.
The balancing act between vigilante and lawyer reminds us that there is such a thing as a bad law. Issues surrounding immigration come to mind. If you can point at someone and say that they are breaking the law by existing, it's the law that's wrong, not the person.
Solid ending to what was essentially a 25 issue arc when I really think about it. Wish there was more insight into why Matt chose a black and red costume after his secret identity was restored so that it meant more when he finally goes back to the classic red but the moment still works well without that info.
Also seeing RBG kick Matt’s ass was funny as hell
