CLEAN MIND (in real life) - How to stop feeling overwhelmed with everything ~ A simple, innovative, and practical handbook to discipline your mind

Rate this book
Do you ever feel like your head is about to explode?

Or that the flow of thoughts running through your mind are so disturbing and overwhelming that you just want to go to sleep for a full week?
I used to feel like this way most of the time…

We cannot let feeling stressed rule our lives, even if everyone around us, including society itself, is trying to convince us that stress is so normal and natural. It’s not, and you can live your life without it. And truly, you can live a better life and become a better version of yourself without it. You can be more peaceful, more open, more creative, and have a deeper sense of calm. And the good news is that if I did it then you absolutely can too! That’s why I’ve written this practical handbook. It’s not your typical self-help guide because it’s a book based on experience, my experience. Consider it like a compilation of my best pieces of advice for real life and some down-to-earth tricks on how to help you become a better version of yourself, something that you may have already been striving to do.
The mind is beautiful. It helps us create, imagine, plan for the future, and yet we keep using it to judge, control, and generate thoughts that hurt us on a daily basis. It can seem difficult to stop and avoid these patterns if you’ve done them unconsciously for all of your life… until today.

Straight forward, common sense approach to decluttering the mind.

Top take a ways:
1) Proper sleep
2) Morning Routine
3) Relaxation

Filled with many beneficial tips on what is required to take back control of your mind and be able to focus on the things that bring you the most joy.

Easy to read. Easy to follow. Written from personal experience. While the author doesn't go into great detail about their personal life it does help with concept explanations.

Negatives:

- While there was nothing wrong with the book, it didn't stand out after reading, easily forgotten.

Received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is one of several books on decluttering your mind that he have just read in a row.

One annoying thing about this book is the poor editing, there's a typo or grammatical error and words in the wrong order at least every half a dozen pages. I find this terribly off putting as I see the error instead of reading the real content.

I get where this author is coming from in that it's based on her own experiences with several case studies and I assume this will resonate with many readers.

Disclosure: I was offered a free copy of this book by the author in return for an honest review.

This is a great book that helps those that live a stressful lifestyle that wish for an uncluttered way of living. The author, Hannah Hannigan, shows the reader how to live life as a minimalist in this easy step-by-step guide. These were the steps Hannah, herself, had taken ten years ago and to this day she lives an uncluttered and peaceful life doing the projects she enjoys. Not a bad way to live. Good job, Hannah!

Pero que coño? Solo se habla de 2 temas, eliminar cosas materiales y respiraciones. Una de las cosas que me gustó por parte del autor fue el lenguaje sencillo y fácil de leer (aunque un poco grosero a mi ver).

This book has potential to be helpful to you to find peace of mind. It does need a bit of editing. There were good suggestions but I was not grabbed by it. That being said, I support the author's intent and the topic itself is worthy.
