A very fun, enjoyable novella!

Revenge. Sweet, sweet revenge. Not the kind of revenge where you trash someone’s car with icing and glitter. The kind of revenge where you show your ex how well you’re doing without him!!! :)

As with all of Elise’s books, this novella is fun, witty, and very satisfying! It is a stand-alone novella (even though it is part of the Blackwood UK Series). No cliffhanger. Very satisfying ending (with a cherry on top)! It can be read alone, but I find it much more enjoyable to read the entire series so when other characters are mentioned it’s more fun because you recognize them! Thank you Elise! :) This romantic comedy is a quick read (it is a novella), yet still very delicious… like a cupcake! You won't be disappointed or gain weight!

Love this book that I got from the author in exchange for an honest review and I'd definitely want to read more of Cheryl and Lachlan. Cheryl got dumped by her fiancé Craig who wanted to keep things honourable but then sends out an email to his friends where they rate their exes. Cheryl only gets an 3.5 and he complained a lot, especially about her cakes with sparkly glitter. That makes her boss Olivia come up with the idea to decorate Craig's car. Hehe, great idea but unfortunately they turn the wrong car into a beautiful glittery cupcake.. That's how Cherry gets to meet Lachlan, the guy who rented her old house and he helps her to get the right kind of revenge ^^

Very sweet romantic comedy

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. When your cheating ex rates you badly on an email list, what better way to seek revenge than decorate his car like a giant cupcake including corn syrup and rainbow sprinkles? Cherry unfortunately discovers the BMW belongs to handsome Lachlan and not cheating ex Craig. What could have been a disaster ends up much more fun. The characters are well defined, the writing well paced with some great humour without overdoing it. A great novella that is very easy to read in one sitting. Highly recommended reading.

Another very readable book from Elise Noble and also very well written. I normally read thrillers and suchlike so Cherry on Top made an enjoyable change. A feel-good story with some nice little twists and turns at the start. It would have been good if it had been longer but you can't always have what you want. Realistic characters and great settings provide an excellent basis for the story. Keep up the good work, Elise!

One of my favorite series!

I especially love the Blackwood Security series, both in the U.S. and the U.K. The characters are never carbon copies, and the stories are never cookie cutter.
I really don’t want to give away the story, but...bad ex, funny revenge idea, and the nicest guy. I don’t have the quote, but I loved the part where Cherry misses a whole explanation about the stars, because she’s focused on the guy. Because, c’mon, who hasn’t done that?

I loved this book, I enjoyed the humorous writing. I really like the Blackwood Security books because of the action and little bit of romance in them. Cherry on Top was a nice, funny, relaxing read. Maybe you should kill off Craig and somehow get blackwood security involved to protect Cherry. Not a likely plot, but it would be nice for Craig to get more of what should be coming to him!

I love all of Elise Noble's books. Especially the Blackwood series. But I Really loved Cherry on top. I loved getting to know Cherry and Lachlan and seeing Olivia again. The car revenge was golden! It was so light and easy and laughed all the way through.

Cherry on top is simply brilliant. It's short and sweet and laugh out loud funny. For Cherry revenge is sweet in every way possible. A wonderful addition to the Blackwood series. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Really good

This is a sweet little novella that is about Cherry and Lachlan. It's a quick read but I like reading in order. On to the next Blackwood UK. Loving this series. Highly recommend.
