From the boardroom to the bedroom, Antonio DeRose is a man who always gets what he wants. And Antonio wants Evie.

Antonio took a risk when he purchased Bloom Tattoo. The studio is a “fixer-upper” that could pay off in spades...or cost him Thorn, the family’s studio. He knows the key lies in making Evie Stuart, the tattooed sex kitten, head artist. He can see that beyond her beauty, that the fiery girl has some serious brains too.

Evie, on the other hand, is more than happy to continue being a tattoo artist. She likes being free to follow the wild creativity of her imagination without risking the livelihoods of other artists. Because even though Evie can’t stop thinking about his scorching touch, she has no desire to share a boardroom with him.

While pride brings them together it’s their shared desire that has them entangled. At first, Evie thinks that their head banging sex will keep her career change at bay—but when their shared passion begins to bleed over into the business, can either pull away from their love without losing everything? Or will they finally realize that you really can have it all?

2.5 to 3*

This is the third and final book in this series and it features Antonio the eldest DeRose brother and the only one who doesn't work as a tattoo artist. Antonio is the business man, always in suits, professional hair and ice cold eyes.
Evie is a talented tattoo artist and as far as Antonio can see she'd make the perfect head artist but Evie strongly disagrees.
On top of the disagreement over head artist there's the matter of attraction between these two, it was instant and difficult to ignore.

This was moving along well, we discover why Evie is reluctant to take the offered position yet we understand why Antonio is convinced she's perfect.
Their attraction continues and moves along as expected, we also touch base with Gio and Luciano.
This was turning out to be what I think of as the perfect 3* read but then there's a section when it all goes crazy and I couldn't for the life of me understand what on earth was happening. It was almost as if this section had been written by someone else and I was left thinking why?
Why spoil the book by having both the main characters acting totally out of character.

I also have to take issue with the cover and yes I'm aware I'm being picky but I'm assuming it's supposed to be Antonio on the cover yet he only has a back tattoo so why pick a cover with chest/arm tattoos?

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by NetGalley and Relay Publishing.

Never has the tattoo world been portrayed quite like this. Ms. North brings sexy back with a vengeance with the bad boys of art. The DeRose brothers are building a business the brash, sassy and sensual way. One brother at a time. This time around Antonio gets to be the brother of the hour. On the hunt to expand the business, he loses his heart along the way. Evie and Antonio are keeping it hot in more ways than one. It's only fitting that a DeRose man meet his match in a bad girl. A tattooed spitfire that lives by her own rules, making them up as she goes. Taming the bad boy has never been as tempting or as entertaining.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. This was the third book in the series, the last DeRose brother Antonio. He is the owner of Thorn Tattoo Studio, and his brothers and wives work there. This story is about Evie and Antonio as get to know each other and discover how they feel for one another. I always enjoy reading about the past characters, that is always my favorite part, so my friends grab a book, and start reading, I suggest you start from the very beginning, with Rose. Enjoy!

REVIEW
After reading Rose and Thorn I couldn't possibly not go straight on to read the third and final Thorn Studio book, Bloom.

This cover once again is dominated by a hunky but more sparsely tatooed male. This time the male is clean shaven and is the final DeRose brother. This time the font is in a light blue colour. I have to say the covers of the Thorn Tattoo Studio are done in a cohesive way and fit very well together. I think they would look great together on a book shelf.

The book is once again set around the family owned Tattoo studio previously owned by the patriarch of the DeRose family, then when he passes the business is run by the three brothers. The youngest brother is Giovanni DeRose who found love in bk1 Rose. The middle brother Luciano who lived to travel around to conventions and guest tattoo at other studio's, his story was told in Thorn. This book is the centred on the oldest and possibly quietest brother who would probably be perceived as the serious or even boring brother.

Once again continuing the theme of for every hunky tattooed DeRose brother there is a feisty yet secretive woman on hand to tame them and fall in love with them. This time the feisty female is Evie who herself is a rather talented tattooist. Antonio DeRose presents a serious all business attitude but can't help looking over the cute tatooist he thinks should be made head tattooist of Bloom. However Evie has her own secret reason in her past that is the reason she will do anything to avoid the job. Evie ends up being the spokesperson for the rest of the tattooists that worked together when the studio was called Richochet, which makes Antonio all the more determined that she is the right person for the head artist job. Evie has noticed how Antonio's gaze lingers on her and her figure even though she wears clothes that cover her up and tend to hide her shape. Evie decides to use this to her advantage as if she and Antonio are in a relationship or having a fling it would be perceived as favouritism if she were head artist. So things certainly don't run very smoothly for Evie and Antonio.

I loved Evie in this book. When you find out her secret that is preventing her committing to being the head tattooist your heart really does sink for her and it makes her refusal completely understandable. I think Evie and Antonio have quite a few reservations about their prospective relationship, both are a little afraid to commit, and have a fear of being hurt. So its totally believable that their relationship has lots of hills and troughs to go through before they come to any sort of understanding of each other.
I feel I should also admit that during the other two books I honestly didn't like Antonio much, he seemed like the stuck up brother who was only interested in the profit margins for the tattoo studios. Though he shows he has a softer, more creative side too. He can also tattoo but as he is more business minded and has a knack for investing he chooses to be the "brains behind the brawn".

Again I have read reviews that have complained about these books being very similar. I readily admit that I found that this book does have similarities with Rose and Thorn but once again I would put this down to the main characters being three brothers. It also has a very similar romantic theme throughout the series that some could say is made up of the same formula. I would say that is also true but as a series there need to be certain similarities running through each book to keep the books as a cohesive set. The only negatives I had were the cover could have depicted Antonio as the least tattooed brother a little better as at the beginning of Bloom he only has an unfinished tattoo on his back where the cover model has tattoos on his chest and arms. The other negative is its a shame its the last book so not a bad negative! I would love more of the DeRose family (not just the brothers), perhaps we could have the other artists stories, and/or a continuation of the DeRose brothers relationships set a few years in the future.'

My immediate thoughts upon finishing this book were that this was another great installment in the Thorn Tattoo Series. It's a shame to see the series end. I'm not usually into contemporary romance but I have really enjoyed reading about the DeRose brothers.

Bloom is the third and final book in the exciting Thorn Tattoo Studio series by Leslie North. With a great storyline, complex characters, hilarious banter, and some surprise twists, this emotional roller-coaster of a story will pull you in right from the start. A great ending to this series.

There was a lot about this book that I really liked, especially all of the different characters. There was one thing that stood out to me more than anything, maybe because it's something that I rarely see happen in other books. Because I refuse to give away spoilers, this may be difficult to explain, but I'll try. Usually when either one or both main characters do something wrong, even when they know they're at fault, their first reaction is to blame the other character, or come up with excuses for what they did. In this book, both Antonio and Evie have their moments when they do/say something stupid, but instead of the whole blaming everyone else thing, they both take responsibility for what they've done, as well as actually show remorse for their actions/words. It was surprising and refreshing, and made me like them even more.

There was a part of the story where Antonio and Evie were doing things that were completely out of character for them, and it just didn't seem to fit the rest of the story. At least in my opinion. The first part of their romance was great, there was strong chemistry between them, but that all seemed to change with the above mentioned section of the story. After that started, it was like one minute they're together, the next they're not, and back and forth again. The romantic aspect seemed to disappear, and it was more like being told about it than actually seeing it. It was difficult to get that connection back after it was broken.

This was a great story, and aside from the issues above, I really enjoyed it. If you haven't read this series, I would suggest you start from the beginning. You'll get to read fantastic stories, learn about each couple, and the dynamics between the brothers, and the tattoo shops. I think you'll really enjoy them!

I highly recommend this book, series, and terrific author.

After Giovanni (Rose) and Luciano (Thorn) of course Antonio was also entitled to a story. And here it is: the business man of the trio, the man of the money and the brains meets his match with the feisty little Evie.

And yet again Leslie North is able to write about the Thorn Tattoo shop and it's owners, from a new point of view. Whereas Gio is the temperamental one and Luciano the emotional broken one, Antonio is the cold-hearted business one. Or so it seems, because below the surface, Antonio also is a real DeRose. But being burdened with the financial part of the business and taking charge, because neither Gio or Luciano were able to do so, left Antonio to be the responsible one.

And by taking over Bloom Tattoo he is taking an even greater financial risk. But he is determined to make this a success. And he needs Evie, one of the employees of Bloom Tattoo, to become the Head Artist to make this happen. What he didn't foresee was that Evie wasn't willing to step up to this position. And what he also didn't foresee was the chemistry between them.

Evie knows it is not a good idea to shack up with your boss. But when he is as hot and yummie as Antonio, and when he asks her to finish the tattoo on his back, how can she refuse? But what she will refuse is the position as Head Artist. Due to her past, she is not willing to take this step. Not even when Antonio tries to convince her with various different tactics.

So, what do you do, when your heart and your head are in disagreement? Find out if Antonio and Evie get their happily ever after, or will Bloom never grow into a full-grown tattoo shop?

Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I didn't like this book as much as the rest of the series. The writing is still excellent and there is plenty happening but the lead female character Evie drove me nuts for the second half of the book. She made so many stupid decisions, things that just didn't make any sense, and yet she was supposed to be fairly intelligent. Her behavior just seemed so extreme that I just kept thinking 'seriously? OMG grow a brain!', and I hate feeling that way about a lead character.

The set-up was really well done and the romance was building and then it all changed, it kind of pulled together at the end, but for me it was already ruined.

I can't say I really liked Antonio either, he really pushes for Evie to become head artist when she doesn't want to. I thought it crossed over into workplace bullying a few times because he pushed so hard, then when she made bad decisions he acted like it was really disappointing when he put her in that situation.

Honestly, it's just not what I've come to expect from a Leslie North book and I was really disappointed.

The narrator did a good job, the character voices were well done and the delivery matched the tone of the book.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

This is the first DeRose brother's book. I'm not sure how this series got by me as I'm a big fan of Leslie North. I did enjoy this story. I realize that there are 2 other books that are full of history that I don't know about yet so the straight laced and all business Antonio was an interesting character. I fully enjoyed getting to know Evie and Antonio and meeting his brothers. The writing was descriptive and I could visualize the shops. About the time I was really getting into their story some things happen between them and some weird choices that were made that changed their dynamic. I'm not really sure but this made me disconnect from the story. It was a good story and a great ending which made the story come together well. There wasn't much depth covered between them to draw me into their relationship. The first part of their story was great. It seems like the last of the book was written by someone else or after a break. It was a good book and worth the read. I did enjoy it.

I received this in exchange for my honest review from NetGalley.

I love me some Leslie North steamy romance and with this Tattoo series she delivered. Having read the second book, Thorn, just this week, I was thrilled to get started on Bloom because it focused on Antonio and in the previous book he'd come off as all business and one to never mince his words.
I received an arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review and this was more fierce than I expected because there was a different dynamic to the characters. Antonio and Evie are both stubborn. Each of them wants to have their own way, and they both want the new venture to succeed while trying not to mess up their relationship.
I loved the chemistry between Antonio and Evie, especially Evie's ability not to back down from an argument with Antonio. I was intrigued by the essence of a tattoo parlor and something about the description of Bloom had me seriously considering visiting the place, even though it's fictional. It was quite a thrill reading this book.

II thought this novella was going to be another entirely erotica novel however, I was surprised by the character depth Leslie North actually employed. This third and final novella in the Thorn Tattoo series can be read as a standalone. Within the first couple of chapters we are introduced to our main protagonists Antonio and Evie, who not only share the leading roles, but also share splitting their point of view for the entire novella. But these stubborn lovers, ensure that no matter what happens between them, their careers are also on the forefront of their minds as they try to be taken seriously in the business world and the tattoo world, respectively. After having read this novella, I am now intrigued to find out how the other two DeRose brothers ended up with their significant others were they as reluctant and troubled as Antonio and Evie?

I was really excited to finally listen to Antonio's story and he doesn't disappoint, we get to see more behind the businessman. In a way I understand his more reserved attitude since he had to take care of his brothers and create a business for them to thrive in and not worry about finances. I expected a different woman for him, but what can you do? Love is blind. I really wanted to like Evie but I just couldn't connect with her, she behaves childish, some of her decisions were so wrong, then when called on them, she acted hurt. Sometimes sorry is not enough. Some of her redeeming qualities are that she really does try to help Bloom become what it can be, she is a great artist, so is an asset and seems she finally thawed out Antonio's heart. They get their HEA and I love these type of endings. - 3 stars
Mr. Carberry does a great job again, I enjoy listening to his voice. He does male voices really well. - 4 stars

Emotional and with twists that you do not expect. Great characters that are likeable and relatable. Very well written captivating story with great storyline and plot. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
I like to know what happens next, so the epilogue was very welcomed and well written.

Nice chemistry and passion. Slow paced which is not usual in these kind of stories. I like it. Can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the whole series. The previous characters are also in this story and you get a sort of update on them. I like that very much.

Somewhere along the story the writing style and chemistry changes a bit. I was sorry for that because it took some of the passion and chemistry.
But absolutely a story that I can recommend to others.

When Antonio DeRose buys a failing tattoo studio, he gets more than the bargained for. He finds Evie Stuart, the talented tattoo artist that he feels is wasting her talent. No matter how many times Antonio asks her to be the head artist, Evie will refuse.

When they mix business with pleasure, things get hot. Will Evie become the head artist? Can Antonio loosen up enough to find his HEA like his brothers?

I love the chemistry between Antonio and Evie. They are both strong characters and need to learn to compromise to have their HEA. This was an amazing series. I liked the tattoo theme and the characters in the books. All were well written and enjoyable.

Antonio De Rose decided to purchase a tattoo studio that was going out of business as a branch of the already popular tattoo shop that his brothers, Gio and Luc along with their wives had turned into a booming business. This meant Antonio had to be hands on to get Bloom up and going. He didn’t expect Evie Stuart, a tattoo artist working at the shop to get under his skin and make him want things he didn’t know he wanted, but she did.

I really enjoyed this last book in the DeRose Brothers Series. The plot was good and the characters fit right into the story very nicely. This was a great end to this series. I received an ARC for an honest review.

Antonio has always focused on the bottom line. He never strayed away from how he could make his businesses more profitable. When an opportunity comes to buy a struggling studio, he jumps at the chance to expand his empire. There he meets Evie, she is reluctant to accept the reigns of the head artist. Jaded by her past she feels like she will never have the ability to lead and will not let those who count on her down. Antonio slowly finds a way to have Evie establish her worth. Gaining the confidence necessary to let the ghosts of her past fizzle away. Will they gain more as they work together?

Leslie North did it again in my opinion! Antonio and Evie had the real relationship that most of us have in life and not the fantasy BAM happily ever after. They both do good then mess up and then make up. That is what I look for in a romance. Some realism and this book has it! Leslie did her homework about the tattoo world and it shows in the books. Seeing cameos of the other DeRose brothers as their lives become richer from their own HEA!

The only thing I personally didn't like was all the slide back it seemed that Evie took in her road to leadership in the shop, but that's also real life so I over look it. Well done Ms. North. I look forward to reading your next book.

Who doesn't love a woman that knows her own mind? In "Bloom", Evie is a woman that speaks her mind even if she puts her foot into her mouth at times. And with Antonio, we finally meet the keeper of finances for the DeRose family's 'Thorn Tattoo Studios'. The last book in the series, it was fun to see how Antonio and Evie would clash and come together for their HEA. Having read all of the books, it would be hard to pick a favorite. They each are a standalone read and just plain fun from the first page to the very last page. A recommended read, I would like to thank NetGalley and Relay Pub. for gifting me with "Bloom". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4 Stars!

This is the third book in the Thorn Tattoo Studio Series. I love this Series and really enjoyed my listening. I love the story of Antonio and Evie. Antonio is handsome and powerful and Evie is exactly the woman for him. I also like to have news about Giovanni/Riley and Luciano/Melanie in this book. The epilogue is perfect to conclude this story and this Series. I like Leslie North's writing because there is no mistake possible, you always get what you expected, or more. She never disappoints. The narration was great and easy to listen. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review. I've read/listen this story.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Antonio, the oldest of 3 boys, gives a sense of a button down businessmen.
He is much more than that.
Evie is afraid to take risk in some areas of her life.
When a promotion comes her way, she is afraid to accept it.
Antonio is baffled.
Why would Evie not take the promotion?
As they get to know each other, they also "learn" from each other.
I thought they were a perfect compliment to each other.
Another success for Leslie North!
I would love to read more about the DeRose brothers!

I love the Thorn Tattoo Studio series, every person in this series is an important part of the story. This story follows Evie and Thorn brother Antonio as they discover if they have the guts to do for what they both want. I love the chemistry between all the brothers and their women but this was by far one of the best stories. I cannot wait to read more books by Leslie North she never disappoints. Thank you NetGalley and Leslie North for allowing me to read and leave an honest review of this book.

Antonio DeRose, business man, takes over a struggling tattoo parlor and falls for one of its best artists. Evie's hesitancy to take a promotion and self-doubt lead her to make mistakes in the business that in turn threaten their relationship.

I found this boring. The cover is completely misleading. The majority of the story is business driven and I did find much chemistry between the main characters. I don't typically enjoy boss/employee relationship stories and this book didn't change my mind.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC.

I really enjoyed this book. Antiono is all business and works really hard to maintain this very professional front, but it's really good to see those walls be destroyed throughout this book. Oh Evie is so fun and carefree and then in walks Antonio and her world is turned upside down. They balance each other out over the course of this book and it's just great! The ending is perfect for them. Great characters and the DeRose boys all show up in this book and makes it feel complete.

I see a pattern now... these books started out good but then they become boring and either predictable or crazy unbelievable... no bueno.

Now... can we talk about the book covers and how none of them even remotely represent to any of the heroes? That's a huge no-no for me. My favourite writes have spoiled me with amazing book covers that represent the heroes (and how I envision them!) Perfectly so this was such a let down.

This series had a lot of potential but didn't live up to it.

Antonio is so buttoned up, that he surprises everyone with his fun side when he's around Evie. Antonio is just a background character in the first two books, so I enjoyed seeing him "bloom" in this book. For me that was what the story was about, the way that Evie and Antonio evolved into better people from being with each other. The only reason I give this book four stars, is that the guy on the front doesn't come close to the image of the Antonio in the book who only has a back tattoo.

Another awesome book by the very talented Leslie North. Like all the books in the Thorn Tattoo Studio series, I found Bloom to be well-written with a well-thought out plot that keeps you interested and turning the pages. The characters are unique and tie into the previous books in this series. From cover to the very last page, I was captivated . Looking forward to reading more.

This is the 3rd book of the Thorn Tattoo Studio series. I love a good story about ink and the men and women who wear it. This story revolves around Antonio and Evie. Antonio is not a tattoo artist and Evie is plus she is a free spirit who only wants to create and not deal with business matters. Their chemistry is explosive and fun to watch. I have loved all of this series. Great stories.

After reading the first two books in the series I was really looking forward to this one as the others were excellent. Unfortunately I didn't feel a connection with this couple as much as the couples in the earlier books. I couldn't warm to Antonio and I found Evie immature and thoughtless. The ending of the book seemed rushed also.
