Escape from the Planet of the LEPS is book twenty-eight in the Beginnings Series.
After successfully rigging the time machine to capture Frank’s would-be assassin, the Slagel Brothers follow him through and end up a thousand years in the future in a world turned upside down.
Unknown to them, time runs parallel in the future to time in Beginnings and their disappearance is hard to explain. That is, until, a mysterious stranger spices things up.
Escape from the Planet of the LEPS takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions they soon will not forget.
If you think you after twenty-eight books you can’t be shocked…think again. It’s Beginnings.
I don't want to give anything away but if you follow this series then this is a must read.
If you haven't read any of these books before then you must start from the beginning. The series is 28 books long and take roughly 2 hours per book. I have read this series 3 times and absolutely adore the world and characters that Jacqueline has created. Yes they're are grammar and typo errors but don't let them get in the way of a great story.
With the ending of this book, it feels as though the series is heading towards a conclusion. If you enjoy these books, also try the author's sleepers series too.
The one star is because I will probably be dead before it's ever finished!!! Please give this book an ending, 30 is more then enough! I'm forgetting characters, what last book covered and it is taking Ms Drugs too long to write the next book, I am happy she is getting s movie deal from this, but even movies have endings! Please enough books already! But I do love your work!
Loved this book. Seems like they just keep getting better. This author just has a knack for keeping my attention from the very beginning of every book I read she grabs me and it is like I am actually there in her story with the characters. Jackie thank you and where is book 29..............
I'm waiting for the next story in the Beginnings series. In this series three brothers take a trip into the future. One that changes all their lives and those of the residents of Beginnings. One brother loses his life to a future disease but could it be contagious to everyone ?
The usual fun comedy craziness. But oh my goodness 40 weeks pregnant I'm a sobbing mess lol. Anyway true testimony to how good these books are due to my pregnancy I have no attention span at the moment but I couldn't put this down as usual.
oh gosh. The newest Beginnings book is due out and I reread this in preparation. I read it in about an hour when it came out, so i wanted to refresh my memory before I got started on the next. This book...it is fun and imaginative. I love the interactions between characters, it's part of what makes this series so fantastic.
But my god. I think I blocked this book a little, in my head. This is probably why I had to reread it. (I was confused that I didn't remember more...I read this not long ago). But the ending...heart wrenching. It's well written and tear inducing and I'm pretty sure I did my best to forget about it (
OMG just when you think Jackie has used up all her plot twists...
I love the Beginnings series. The people and Beginnings are real in my mind, and the improbable plots, tho impossible in real life, I swallow with relish. Jacqueline Drugs has woven a fantastic storyline full of twists, turns, and surprises. I actually know some of these characters for real. She has brought words to life, and you can't help caring about them. Even some of the more villainous characters you can understand why they do what they do. Start at the first book tho, or you'll be lost in the Beginnings world as Jackie doesn't waste time rehashing the past, than goodness. I can't wait to see the next chapter...I usually scream "Nooooo, it can't be the end of the book already!" And OMG don't leave me hanging. I say why isn't this lady writing for TV or movies? Beginnings would make a great tv series but Hollywood would bugger it up for sure. Besides I like them all the way I see them in my mind. I've read every book Jackie has written except "Sleepers", because zombies aren't really my thing, but I'm thinking I'll have to anyway since all her other books are so darn good, she probably can make zombies entertaining. Try just one of her books, you'll be back for more.
