Cass Chronicles #6

Raspberry Mousse

Rate this book
Cass has settled into an easy rhythm with the love of her life, Killian Nelson. The food blogger/TV presenter has tried to adjust to ravenous bears, amorous moose, and a mother-in-law who is determined to become a grandmother.
Killian knows exactly what is needed to keep Cass fulfilled and on track. The generous use of passion, laughter, and a certain Lexan paddle ensure that their marriage is a constant adventure.

I write about romances that leave a mark- body and soul. A good laugh can bind two people as tightly as sublime sex can, and I love a happy ending.

I loved this book! Susannah Shannon wrote a wonderful addition to this already great series, although this can also be read as a standalone. I started laughing from the beginning and didn't stop until the end. The godchildren were such a sweet addition and brought loads of laughs. There interactions with Cass and Killian are adorable, heartfelt, and humorous. I would loved to have seen more of the camping trip with Killian's friends Jason and Theresa. Now there is one woman who could have used a little over the knee time. However, if that is not enough, I found my heart jump when a family emergency came into play. As a reader, I have grown to care about each character and what they bring to the storyline within the series. Susannah Shannon has a way of making you feel as though you are there and a part of the family. Throughout the book, the author included a lot of laughs, tears, cooking, kids, camping, Alaska area fun, family, friendships, and love. What more could the reader ask for? Oh yes, she also included some wonderful recipes for the reader to try at the end of her book. Overall this author never disappoints and wrote another wonderful hit! I highly recommend this to your reading list! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

More... More cooking, more adventures, more spankings.

Welcome back to Slick Trench! In the 6th installment of the Cass Chronicles, we find that Cass has once again taken on a  myriad of adventures.  From planning Torsten & Libby's "simple" wedding, Alaskan camping with old friends of Killian's, to the challenging task of babysitting two toddlers, Cass is determined to make the best of all of it, and Killian is there to "help" her.  Killian always seems to know just how to bring Cass back when she gets a little out of sorts, and even prepare her for situations that he knows will be stressful.  The dynamic of their relationship and the spanking that occurs isn't for everyone, but it works incredibly well for them, and Cass knows it.

Babysitting Jen's children seems like such a great idea, how hard could it be? But when the children take to Killian immediately but not so much to her, Cass begins to question her ability to be a mother. She doesn't question her cooking skills though, the kitchen is her haven. When Killian surprises her with a camping trip in the Alaskan wilderness, Cass takes her expertise outdoors.  Food, she is prepared for. Bears and snotty female campers... not so much. Thankfully Killian is there to reel her back in with his personal touch.  But when an accident occurs, their trip is cut short and they race home. Thankfully, everyone is okay, but with so much going on, Cass truly needs some time to sit down and relax.  She finally gets a little bit of that during the wedding.  What Cass doesn't expect though, is the powerful pictures that stir feelings deep within her and help make some big decisions for her future.

I have truly enjoyed the Cass Chronicles, getting to know the different characters and seeing their lives evolve and transform.  Each book is an easy read and incredibly entertaining. Susannah Shannon writes with such humor that realism that it is easy to insert oneself into the story and relate to the characters. As with the entire series, submission and spanking is a large part of the book, thus not appropriate for younger readers. I highly recommend Raspberry Mouse as well as entire Cass Chronicles series.  Happy Reading.

YOU ARE A KALEIDOSCOPE OF FACETS, AND THEY ARE ALL WORTH EXPLORING

I love this series with the characters and their interactions. Welcome to Slick Trench, Alaska where native, Killian Nelson and his Chicagoan wife, Cass, live and work. As with each of these stories, it is an ongoing saga that includes other family members, friends, guest at the lodge, and even some amorous wildlife. Each book has blogs that Cass writes called CassCooks and a huge bonus at the end of each book with the recipes Cass features on her blog. I always find myself laughing out loud at the antics, comments, and behavior of Cass.

Cass and Killian will babysit Jen’s two toddlers where Killian is a natural, and Cass feels the kids hate her. Then a camping trip with friends of Killian’s has some intense heart-stopping moments. Several scenes with wildlife add flair to the tale.

The D/s relationship between Killian and Cass is a large part of these tales. Killian knows what his girl needs, how to bring her back when she loses control, and how to ground her ahead of time when he knows she will be facing difficult situations. A family crisis will offer a scare, but in the end, work itself out. Seeing old family photos during the wedding of Torsten and Libby will become a deciding factor for the future. The story has several spanking and sex scenes. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Slick Trench,Alaska.Cass has to deal with a worm eating toddler,a mini
feminist,a love sick moose and a persistent mother in law.Killian has his
own way of helping Cass manage her stress.Cass still manages to write
her food blog despite the chaos she finds herself in.I look forward to the

The Cass Chronicles continue with Raspberry Mousse, which is book six in the series. The author does a good job at providing background information, so I think you will not feel you miss anything if you start the series with reading this book first.
I love sassy and feisty Cass and sexy and strong Killian. In fact, all the characters are well developed. Killian knows exactly how to handle his wife and does not hesitate to paddle her bottom. Raspberry Mousse is a lighthearted read with lots of humor. I enjoyed the book from start to finish.

I love this series! Even though each book is a quick read it's well written. You don't have to be completely up to date with all the previous books & the characters (especially Cass) make me laugh out loud every single time. In this book I found myself thinking that Cass has the patience of a saint to tolerate Hazel. What other book in this genre would you expect to get cooking tips & recipes?! Please keep them coming.

Absolutely love this series. Each book just gets better and better. This can though be read as a stand alone. This is a hilarious story about a couple that practices domestic discipline and what happens in their daily lives. What is great about this book is that all the characters, secondary included are fully integrated and fully developed. Great fun read with a little kink thrown in for sensuality and fun. Highly recommend you read this book as well as the entire series.

The Cass Chronichles continues- chock full of love, recipes, spankings, frustrations, and sexiness. It's a quick read, but it's fun to catch up on Cass, Killian, and the rest of the gang. And it's funny, too! You won't regret getting this book- or the whole series!! 5 stars!

Raspberry Mousse dishes up more fun with Cass and her husband Killian, who has a way with stroppy females (does he ever!). Add a couple of small children to their daily lives and voila – a novel full of ups and downs and lots of spankings, of both the discipline and erotic variety. If you like a story full of love and laughter, don’t wait – one click this now.

I read the first book of this series and loved it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to afford the next four in it. But here the sixth and I love it too. The only complaint I have is it's short, but not so I'd mark it down.
This book was given to me for free at my request from the publisher or author and I provided this voluntary review.
