From the authors of the international bestseller The Babylon Code comes an explosive exposé of the chilling truth about the fierce opposition to the Trump presidency, and why the globalist elite and Deep State will stop at nothing-assassination, military coup, staged economic collapse, or worse-to overthrow him."Trumpocalypse!" It's the media-coined meme inciting panic and fear that America has elected an unstable man who will barge into delicate international affairs like a bull in a china shop and incite nations bent on America's destruction to trigger World War III-an unprecedented nuclear apocalypse ending the world as we know it. But is the media telling us the truth? No, say internationally-recognized prophecy expert and Fox News and History Channel commentator Paul McGuire and Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist Troy Anderson. America's most insidious enemies are not hostile nations; they are elite globalists-the "Establishment" that is making the "1 percent" even richer while working- and middle-class people watch their incomes and net worth's flatline or plummet. The authors fearlessly expose the globalist elite's secret plan for humanity and campaign of mass deception. Using documentation gleaned from years of journalistic investigation and extensive interviews with over fifty of the world's most respected geopolitical, economic and military affairs experts, faith leaders, and biblical scholars, McGuire and Anderson unmask these elites as members of secret societies with deep occult connections who have gained control of America's dominant institutions-government, education, entertainment, international banking, and even the media.Trumpocalypse explores the enigmatic prophecies and "biblical codes" involving Trump, and asks whether God raised up President Trump as a fearless leader to guide America and the free world through a series of major crises as the biblical end-time narrative unfolds, as many people with prophetic gifts are predicting, and shows why everyday Americans and evangelicals have rallied around Trump as their last hope of saving America and averting the horrors of the Apocalypse. It further reveals why Trump and millions of "deplorables" are fighting to stop the hidden agenda of the Establishment, and how the perplexing chaos enveloping the planet could paradoxically signal the beginning of the great end-times awakening that millions are praying for. Here is an invitation to join the anti-Establishment surge-what evangelist Franklin Graham calls "the Christian revolution"-and discover how to fulfill your own destiny in the run-up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
PAUL MCGUIRE is an internationally recognized Bible prophecy expert and regular commentator on Fox News, CNN, and the History Channel. He is the host of the GOD TV international prophecy television show, Apocalypse and the End Times. He is an eschatology professor and each year speaks to tens of thousands of people at Bible prophecy conferences.
I read this book as part of my ongoing quest to understand the 2016 U.S. presidential election. This book deals with the possible prophetic significance of the Trump presidency. The authors look at a number of predictions, from Nostradamus (who the authors admit used occult methods, Loc 826/5959) to contemporary Christian pastors and prophetic teachers.
It's been a long time since I've read a book highlighting conspiracy theories. I had devoured them as a teen, having been a sophomore when President Kennedy was assassinated. Over the decades, I had forgotten about the Illuminati and other groups accused of running the world. Reading this book brought it all back. I was reminded of supposed secret concentration camps in the U.S., subtle mind control, a CERN conspiracy, and much more.
The authors write, “...we believe the evidence is overwhelming that an occult network has infiltrated the highest levels of government, business, religion, and academia to create a global government, cashless society, and universal religion.” (Loc 1653/5959) They also quote Kiyosaki, a co-author with Trump, as claiming the Illuminati “are revealed to have total and complete control over all the mainstream media of the modern world, all the information, all the food, all the money, most of the world's military forces...” (Loc 1648/5959) And, “The wealthy corporate elite rule the world through their vast fortunes...” (Loc 1679/5959)
“We believe God has raised up Trump to fight the globalist elites and their plan to unleash the New World Order on humanity,” the authors write. (Loc 405/5959) They write of how people see Trump as brave, compassionate, wise, and that he has spurred a revolution for Christians to stand up for their rights. Many Christians, the authors claim, believe God has anointed Trump to release the prophetic role of America. (Loc 3847/5959)
I felt the authors were indiscriminate is their sources, quoting some people that I would not recommend at all. While there are many footnotes, statements are made without providing verification. When writing about Jews returning to the land, for example, “In fact, numerous Old Testament prophets predicted that the Jews would return to the land in unbelief and not necessarily in obedience to law.” (Loc 4010/5959) No footnote or other verification is provided. The authors also intimidate readers who might disagree with them. For example, writing about Trump being willing to stand for a sovereign America and that he is under assault from elite globalists, “Most born-again Christians who renew their minds regularly with the Word of God and seek God through prayer can see this quite clearly.” (Loc 4027/5959)
I recommend this book to readers who want to understand the thinking of those who voted for Trump. You'll find good insights into the hatred toward the media and the existing U.S. political realm. You'll be introduced to a number of conspiracy theories about powerful people secretly running the world. You'll also find that many Christians voted for Trump because they firmly believed “Trump was the man God had raised up for this particular hour.” (Loc 2280/5959)
I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
This is a ridiculous, conspiracy-theory laden book that argues that Donald Trump, while not an ideal president, is American Christianity's best hope against the left-wing, globalist, Illuminati cabal and the one who will protect American religious exceptionalism as a "covenant people" of God. It is full of sentences that begin with "Many people agree" or "many scholars argue" without backing this up with creditable sources. It's entertaining as a farcical fantasy, though points are endlessly being repeated. It's basically "The Late, Great, Planet Earth" for our times. I would not recommend this book at all, though it does help one to perhaps better understand the Trump voter.
In celebration of Trump’s 2016 election victory, described as “the greatest miracle in the history of U.S. politics,” McGuire and Anderson present a book of far-reaching speculation on what it may mean for America. For example, “Curiously, the number seven—the most significant biblical number, infused with prophetic mysteries by the universe’s infinite mathematician—envelops Trump’s life and may point toward some type of destiny involving Israel.” Possibly, the author of The Art of the Deal will broker a peace deal between Israel and Palestine, which would fulfill the prophesy of Thessalonians 5:3, leading to “unparalleled global disasters, famine, and war that would wipe out three-quarters of all life on earth—culminating in the Battle of Armageddon and the second coming of Christ.”
As the book’s title suggests, there’s a lot of speculation about a coming apocalypse. But this is always discussed as a step necessary for the return of Christ, so it seems to be ultimately a good thing.
Furthermore, “Although the Bible is not definitive here, one must ask whether occult societies and modern technologies are used by the False Prophet. During the counterfeit resurrection of the Antichrist, it appears that an image of the beast is resurrected. Could that image come from highly advanced virtual reality technologies, a lifelike robot, clone, cyborg, android. Or a combination of the Antichrist’s biological being integrated with a cyborg or robotic body—a transhuman Antichrist?”
Over the course of the book, the authors present a broad range of conspiracy theories regarding threats they expect Trump will overcome. For example, they quote an MI6 intelligence agent who reveals that “The phenomenon of the Beatles was not a spontaneous rebellion by youth against the old social system. Instead it was a carefully crafted plot to introduce, by a conspiratorial body which could not be identified, a highly destructive and divisive element into a large population group targeted for change against its will.”
The authors also explain that world leaders who discuss the need for limiting population growth are actually plotting to exterminate most of humanity. Medical experts who propose precautions against future epidemics are actually scheming to cultivate new strains of disease, so they can profit from global catastrophe. In summary, “The reality is that a powerful fallen angel named Lucifer is the temporary god of this world.” Trump, it is hoped, is the man to change all that.
Despite all predictions of the world’s immanent end, the authors remain confident that God will support Israel and the USA against the rest of humanity, as they claim these nations are the only ones in history to ever have covenants with God. McGuire and Anderson are optimistic that under Trump’s strong leadership, “America is to become the base for spreading biblical revival around the world.”
I won this in a Goodreads giveaway. Trump was appointed by God and the Illuminati are fighting against him. About all you need to know in this book. What a load of BS.
Troy and Paul out did themselves. Good review of end times, deep state politics and how to prepare for the battle ahead. Read it on kindle, need to order hardcover for library.
Why contemporary Christians think Mr. Trump is in any way Godly is proof of The Great Delusion ramping up under the power of Lucifer and his Fallen Angels.
Do not buy this book. Modern Christianity is blinded by deceptions from The Enemy.
This book only received one star because giving zero stars is not an option on Goodreads, otherwise I absolutely loathe this waste of a perfectly good tree. How anyone could honestly believe the fiction Paul McGuire has written and Trump has played out like the actor he is, I'll never know. I keep asking myself how the United States got here and reading this novel, reading the reviews on here, and researching the news gives a few clues. Rome wasn't built in a day (as they say) but it sure didn't take long for it to crumble.
Ostensibly about Trump's role in biblical prophecy and PMD endtimes, it quickly reveals itself as mostly a bait-and-switch vehicle for the authors' paranoid, anti-Semetic blather about (((globalists))) and (((international bankers))). So, fairly emblematic of the Trump-branded experience.
Has President Donald Trump been raised up to stave off the apocalypse or is he going to bring it about? This question and more are explored in Trumpocalypse: The End-Times President, A Battle Against the Globalist Elite, and the Countdown to Armageddon. Authors Paul McGuire and Troy Anderson discuss End-Times prophecy, from Nostradamus to the Book of Revelation, and theorize how Trump could fit in, prevent, or trigger the coming apocalypse of Christian theology. They also examine conspiracy theories about how secret societies and globalist organizations (such as the Illuminati, the Bilderberg Group, and the Trilateral Commission) are manipulating events to advance a one world government. It’s a little paranoid and extremist at times, but that kind of goes with the territory given the nature of the subjects being discussed. Also, it’s a little difficult to separate where the thought experiments and hypothesizing ends and the authors’ true beliefs begin. Still, Trumpocalypse: The End-Times President, A Battle Against the Globalist Elite, and the Countdown to Armageddon is a fascinating (and entertaining) look at how the end of days may come.
A FOLLOW-UP TO THE AUTHORS’ EARLIER ‘BABYLON CODE’ BOOK
Authors Paul McGuire and Troy Anderson wrote in the Introduction to this 2018 book, “Many are now asking: Will President Trump guide America and the free world through a series of major crises as the biblical end-time narrative unfolds, as many people with prophetic gifts are predicting, or will he trigger the ‘Trumpocalypse’---the media meme for concerns that Trump’s presidency will result in World War III and nuclear Armageddon?... The months leading up to the historic election were marked by a proliferation of prophecies about the ‘end-times president’… Throughout the 2016 presidential race, the world became intensely fascinated with the prophecies involving Trump and … Hillary Clinton and how a series of seemingly unrelated events---the populist uprising against the globalist elite and an explosion in occult phenomena---align with what prophecy scholars believe is a convergence in end-time markers.” (Pg. 1-2) They add, “The question is this: Is President Trump really this budding right-wing dictator who is dangerously impulsive and would press the button in a fit of rage and launch World War III?... [Or] is Trump… a strategic thinker who … is highly pragmatic versus ideological? In this book, we’ll delve into little-known and previously unrevealed details about Trump’s life that will give us an indication of what we can expect: Trumpocalypse or ‘Reprieve.’” (Pg. 10-11)
They state, “In recent decades, and largely during the Obama administration, many Americans watched with dismay as their nation… underwent a radical and malevolent transformation. Many trace the beginning of this downward slide to the 1962 U.S. Supreme Court decision removing prayer from schools, followed by the 1973 decision legalizing abortion… Christians… experienced soft persecution while American spiraled downward toward darkness. Then, near the end of Obama’s second term, the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage… While some faith leaders view Trump’s election as a ‘reprieve’---perhaps a temporary pause in God’s prophetic time clock---the Washington Post observed that conservatives see it as new ‘golden age for Republicans on Capitol Hill.’” (Pg. 7-8)
They outline, “The political, military, financial, and prophetic experts interviewed for [this book] foresee a myriad of threats … This is a list of eight of the most critical and potentially dangerous ones: 1. The high probability of a military or terrorist attack, including an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) or weapon of mass destruction attack… 2. A series of high-profile attacks, including cyber attacks, against major American institutions… 3. A military conflict involving North Korea, Russia, Iran, Syria, and China… 4. A worldwide economic crisis… 5. A series of environmental crises or catastrophic disasters such as the eruption of massive earthquakes… 6. A civil war in America… 7. The rebuilding of the Jewish Temple and the possibility of an Israeli-Palestinian agreement… 8. Tensions between Israel, militant Islam, Muslim nations, and the Palestinians..” (Pg. 11-14)
They suggest, “Curiously, the number seven---the most significant biblical number, infused with prophetic mysteries… envelops Trump’s life and may point toward some type of destiny involving Israel.” (Pg. 21) They continue, “Trump, despite his imperfections, may paradoxically pave the way for this spiritual rejuvenation followed by … the second coming of Christ. We believe God has raised up Trump to fight the globalist elites and their plan to unleash the New World Order on humanity.” (Pg. 23)
They assert, “In addition to prophets of the Old Testament, history records numerous other prophets, visionaries, astrologers, and seers who claimed to have seen into the future… One of the most widely read … [is] Nostradamus… major media outlets heralded that … Nostradamus predicted Trump‘s victory…” (Pg. 46-47)
They note, “Curiously, the Bible seems strangely quiet about the fate of America… it’s perplexing that [the world’s] sole superpower isn’t mentioned in Scripture… the ‘standard scenario’ of Bible prophecy … is that America will decline as a world power, paving the way for the EU (revived Roman Empire) to dominate geopolitics… In ‘The Babylon Code,’ we argued that the Antichrist and False Prophet will oversee a world government, instigate a cashless society, and impose a universal religion during the Tribulation.” (Pg. 81)
They report “growing concerns about a ‘Deep State coup’ and an explosion in occult phenomenon in America and worldwide. ‘The Deep State… generally refers to the agencies in Washington that are permanent power factions’… They typically exercise their power in secret… and so they’re barely subject to democratic accountability… Today, the Deep State refers to the ‘entrenched networks hostile to Trump’…” (Pg. 87-88)
They assert, “a theory about ancient astronauts genetically seeding our planet---popularized by Erich von Däniken in … ‘Chariots of the Gods’… [is] known as ‘panspermia’ and is one of the theories of the origin of life on earth. This idea… goes back to ‘Mystery Babylon’ an involves secret occult teachings on accessing supernatural power. This secret knowledge was passed down from empire to empire … through a network of secret societies and occult religious movements.” (Pg. 101-102) They continue, “the Illuminati merged with Freemasonry… we believe the evidence is overwhelming that an occult network has infiltrated the highest levels of government, business, religion, and academia to create a global government, cashless society, and universal religion.” (Pg. 103-104) They add, “when you delve into the Deep State… you see a clear connection between the elite, international banking and business families, and a spectrum of occult societies such as the Illuminati. Like it or not, these are the people and groups who rule the world.” (Pg. 111)
They observe, “Though Trump may be a fledgling Christian, signs that he is now taking his faith seriously are highly encouraging. He has surrounded himself with strong Christian leaders and advisers… While only God knows for certain the state of Trump’s faith, he has committed and taken steps to enact policies, laws, and programs that permit and promote major principles of the Bible… While Trump never claimed to be an evangelical Christian… Trump began to speak out in politically incorrect ways about the spiritual decline of America…” (Pg. 146-148)
They state, “This brings us back to the Trump Revolution and what Franklin Graham called the ‘Christian Revolution’… While a simply conservative revolution can never succeed, a revolution inspired by Christianity certainly can… A true ‘Christian Revolution’ can never happen unless the church, individual Christians, and Christian leaders really believe what they are teaching and then act on it… When and only when this happens will the Christian Revolution occur and radically change the world.” (Pg. 161)
They caution, “we must ask: “is Trump on the inside or outside of the Illuminati? Or is Trump being unknowingly used by the Illuminati… Has Trump been raised up by a power greater than the power behind the Illuminati… that is the power of the living God of the universe.” (Pg. 189) Later, they add, “a kind of ‘American First’ faction … believes America has a unique role to play in the New World Order… a globalist ‘Illuminized Freemasonry’ … has been the primary driver behind a one-world government, religion, and economic system. This faction is believed to be controlled by international banking families… The Illuminati has largely controlled American politics and our financial system since the Federal Reserve Act of 1913…” (Pg. 210, 217)
They assert, “Trump is under constant attack because he represents a serious threat to the globalist elite and their plans to create a New World Order and merge our nation into the North American Union, rendering our Constitution and Bill of Rights null and void.” (Pg. 226) They summarize, “Christian leaders believe Trump has been chosen by God, not because of his outstanding morality or Christian virtues, but specifically to be a champion of God’s people in the lasts days as a totally evil and Luciferian New World Order seeks to control and dominate mankind.” (Pg. 263) They conclude, “The 2016 election was a divine act of the grace of God… Now we see openly … the deep corruption and spiritual darkness presently waging war against Trump, his family, and his administration.” (Pg, 296-297)
Some Evangelicals may approve of these authors’ merging of conspiracy theories, biblical prophecy, and right-wing ideas; but many others will view this as just TOO ‘far out.’
A great summary of all the things that the conservative/right-wing view about the socio-political world. I spent a long time following this movement since the 2016 election (I used to consider myself an agnostic liberal) and have been into conspiracy and occult subjects since 2012 so I resonate with much of their talking points. It seems both sides of the aisle feel there is a doomsday coming, whether it's climate change, economic collapse, patriarchy, nazi death camps, Illuminati, globalists, Jews, or satanic pedophiles, Reptilians - there's always an "other" that is responsible for our suffering. It's not all "fake news" - there is truth to it, but there's also an agenda behind why they are promoting it.
After spending two years in the alt-right, truther, and conspiracy worlds it seemed to frequently funnel toward the Christian/Bible/Jesus crowd. There's also a major phenomenon that tries to take all these truther narratives and tie it back to Donald Trump being the "chosen one" to rid us of evil and drain the swamp. The Q-Anon phenomenon is an example and is never critical of Trump and is very #MAGA and #TrustThePlan with a strong Christian slant. The Bible prophecy stuff is definitely real for lots of people. Satanism and pedophilia are also real things happening. But the two seem to go together as enemy/savior or villian/hero. They fight against each other and urge you to take a side.
The times we live in are fascinating. I still haven't figured it all out, but I am growing and evolving. I may come back to this review a year from now and have a totally different perspective. We'll see!
Trumpocalypse is a riveting, rocket ride of a book that takes readers on a spellbinding, eye-opening journey through the surprise election of Donald Trump as president who campaigned on a platform of "Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo," the enigmatic prophecies surrounding his presidency and the link to unfolding end-time events, the end-of-the-world predictions by Nostradamus and other seers, the Deep State and occult elite's campaign of mass public deception, the globalist elite's secret "Plan" for humanity, the role of secret societies in Bible prophecy, the coming economic "reset," Trump's mysterious link to plans to rebuild the Third Temple in Israel, and a call for a National Day of Repentance as America faces mounting dangers, including North Korea's threats of nuclear war. Trumpocalypse is an amazing book and also a powerful tool of evangelism to spread the message of Jesus — a message of hope in the last days. I encourage everyone to get a copy of this book, along with copies for your loved ones and friends, to share this urgent message. It’s especially important for your loved ones and friends because we want to see all of them in heaven. Discover your destiny in the end times and join "the Christian revolution."
A mess of a book full of illogical arguments and hypocrisy. It feels like the authors are either jumping on the money train of the legion of Trump supporters, or they're desperately trying to justify their own cognitive dissonance, that a Christian would feel, if they tried to support the rhetoric and policies of Trump's presidency.
I read this with an open mind, but it's just self-serving propaganda.
I think this is a good place to quote 2 Timothy 3, 1-5: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
There are two parallel beliefs in this world, one that believes in creation and one that believes in evolution. If you believe in creation, then this book is for you, as it will fill you with all the necessary insight to what is occurring with the " Donald " as president and him being a " chosen " one from God. A lot of the information in this book deals with our current political climate, but really it stresses biblical prophesy. As I am a firm believer in evolution, thus a believer in Darwinism, I got the overall political climate stuff but got very disinterested as the authors started dealing with the words written in the bible, especially Revelation. There are thousands of books out there dealing with " end " times. Granted the world is a scary place right now, but so it was in the 1900's, the 1800's, and so on and so on.. Perhaps we are going to destroy humanity through our current actions and perhaps not. Humanity's quest for self preservation can go either way. One can only experience change if one stays around for the action.
I thought Trumpocalypse is a very informative reading. I think the book would be a great read for everyone. The book brings to light many things that I have heard about most of my adult life. The secret societies, the shadow government. It frightens me to think so few people are not aware of the evil that is going on, even some in my church family. I have always believed that Trump became President through the divine power of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the first review I have ever written so you know Trumpocalypse has touched me and pray other readers will take the book to heart.
This book was entertainingly ridiculous. It seems to intentionally mislead the reader to induce paranoia about everything and everyone including politicians, scientists, and Silicon Valley. Everyone seems to be in on the conspiracy except the reader. What's most ridiculous is that most of their claims can be disproven or corrected if you use Google. Example: they claim CERN's logo is meant to show "666" but in reality the logo simply represent the loops of the cyclotrons at CERN. Blatantly misleading and incorrect. Great book if you are looking for a collection of nonsensical, often bizzarly faith-based, conspiracy theories.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I expected a lot of Trump cheering in this book. But it's far wider in scope than I expected. Well researched and often profound. It's not anti-Trump either but takes a rational mature Christian look at him with an eye largely on prophecy and the Luciferian Great Deception being played out on those who simply refuse to see what is hidden in plain sight. And no one is blinder the those who simply will not see. As I read this profoundly informative book I struggled with the frustration that far too few will read it.
This book clarified much of what I already thought I knew and opened my eyes to the depths of how global threats are converging around us. It confirms my belief that God raised up President Trump as a champion for America and Israel before the final showdown between good and evil. Christ's return is nearer now than ever before, and believers need to be educated and alert. This book will equip and motivate you to fulfill your God-given calling to keep in step with the Ho!y Spirit in these treacherous times and lead others to the safety found only in Christ.
The authors explain clearly and in depth what is really going on in America. Their opinion why they feel Trump has been chosen by our Lord to direct this country back to sound principles and godly living makes common sense. We don’t want to fall under God’s judgements, for He hungers for righteousness and justice. It’s a message that brings hope back and gives us a purpose. I have recommended this book to my daughter.
I like this book. It was interesting and had a lot of facts that I didn’t know anything about.
For me this book might have been a little too full of facts and it lost me. But if you enjoy a lot of political stuff and facts then you might enjoy this book.
Like I said, I did like it but it was just a bit wordy for me.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.
I started this book with skepticism but ended it with a "whew". If you like Trump or not, you need to read this book! It certainly explains a lot of attitudes during the campaign. Think you are a Christian? You better start checking out the words from the pulpit. This book will make you think
This was a Goodreads win. Thank you Goodreads, Paul McGuire and Troy Anderson. This is one interpretation of Bible prophesy, there are others also which do not lean so much toward the occult as actions of Satin
Awareness escapes the majority creating complacency and a toehold for Lucifer to nestle in. Do yourself and your country a favor and fathom what you can do in your circle of influence to help turn this country turn back to God.
