Good Examples, Poorly Written

A decent enough primer on C# basic functionality but it is very apparent that this book was not edited. It is not professionally written. There are many grammatical errors, spelling errors, and repetitions in the book. Overall: not worth the money.

I wouldn't agree that this is a book for 'absolute beginners', although the author does mention that beginners may want to first read his introductory book. It is a very short explanation of the C++ language - a little about its syntax, it's advantages, and its disadvantages.

Very basic

The code examples in this book are very basic. I wish he elaborated more on the structure. I was a little disappointed in the examples. I wish they were more complex. This is a 3 part series but unfortunately I won't be continuing the series.

Good repetition

Very good use of repetition and breaking down what each element is showing. Will definitely check out the next books to follow

Color me impressed, inspired, and hungry for more. Everything a good book is supposed to do, this one delivers!

Starting at a blank and often feeling overwhelmed by the notion of learning programming (probably intimidated by my own characters), this book put me at ease and educated me about the basics. Well done indeed!!!
