He is also an innovative book designer and part of a creative design duo with his wife, Hiromi, under their company, Craft-Ebbing & Co. In 1994, the pair launched into the Japanese literary scene with an art exhibition featuring handcrafted covers for fictional books, gaining attention for their unconventional designs and thought-provoking titles. 특별한 서사가 있다기보다 잔잔하게 동네 사람들의 이야기를 보여준다. 치열하게 살고 사회적으로 높은 지위에 올라가 있는 삶이 아니어도, 누군가에겐 역행하는 거 같고, 시대에 뒤쳐진 거 같은 사람들이 나름대로 어떤 노력을 하고 어떤 정을 나누며 살아가는지 보여준다.
잔잔히 따뜻하게 읽히는 책. 한 그릇의 수프같은 책이다🙂
