When she’s not writing she spends her time in graphic design, homeschooling, and homesteading.
Unique and vibrant retelling! The detail is satisfying, and the characters believable- especially love Master Wilbur. The only thing that I would ask for is that the balls through denouement had slowed down and had more content. I felt rushed very reluctantly to that happy ending. Lovely book overall!
I really enjoyed this unique twist on Cinderella and the intricate mythology woven threw the storyline. I also love the way it blends in with Amaranth's story Cassandra is a complex character and the villian is a bit of a surprise or at least was toe great book can be read as a stand alone though growing amaranth adds to it a nice clean sweet fairy tale retelling.
I liked this book better than the first book in the series (Growing Amaranth). The main character has a lot to overcome and it is fun to watch her grow as the book progresses.
