At The End Of Forever

Rate this book
Who wants to live forever?
Apparently everyone, as archaeologist Elijah Brooks and his granddaughter April discover when they find themselves in a race against time to find the fabled “Tree of life” in order to save his dying wife.
A race that ends up spanning thousands of years and thousands of miles.
Many powerful interests are involved, including a secret militant society that goes all the way back to the time of Christ, the pastor of a mega church, the head of the now defunct German mafia, the CEO of a multinational food conglomerate, and all the thugs and mercenaries that money can buy.
But nobody is prepared for what they end up finding…at the end of forever.

About the author

Greg Wagner

10 books7 followers
Greg Wagner lives in a tree house with his wife Roberta and their dogs Abby and Olivia on the side of Wagner Mountain (more like a really big, really steep hill) in Maysel, West Virginia.

When he isn’t plotting to take over the world or in the search of spiritual enlightenment, Greg manages to find time to spin yarns of wonder and amazement. In whatever time is left, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, reading, splitting firewood, making music and playing with melted glass.

A Note From Greg:
All my novels are written in progressive active past tense (what happened as it's happening), third person privileged perspective, with "privileged" meaning all point of view (POV) character's thoughts are in italics, present tense, and first person perspective.

The book had a rather compelling story, but there were too many mistakes. For instance the term of a U.S. Senator is 6 not 4 years. Horses di not exist in North America when his Vikings went up the Arkansas River. There probably were more that I did not catch.

Wow! What a page turner. The historical locations are real too. Makes me want to read more of his books.

Love it.
I can see it as a movie in my head.

And the race is on. Exciting so far.

Love the characters and how they intertwine and meet in ways you wouldn't expect.

Have read before, but had to reread again.
