Creative Training: A Train-the-Trainer Field Guide

Rate this book
Cut your design time in half, increase learner retention, and have more fun! It is the trainers trifecta, and it can be achieved through Instructor-Led, Participant-Centered (ILPC) creative training. By using a repeatable process and training methods that complement how the brain learns, ILPC trainers spend less time designing training but see increased learner motivation and content retention. And everybody, including the trainer, enjoys the learning process more because it is interactive. In this book, Becky Pike Pluth, CEO of The Bob Pike Group, the pioneer in Creative Training Techniques®, explains why creative training works and walks the reader through a step-by-step process so you can implement these methods, experience improved training results, and reignite your passion for training. Contributors also include industry leaders like Jennifer Hofmann, Neen James, and Sharon Bowman to make this a truly formidable resource for both face-to-face and virtual creative training.

I don’t agree with everything in here, I think some of the ideas are a little obnoxious to learns and several concepts are presented in an overly pompous manner as the author clings to the name her father built, but overall it has solid foundations.
