Nick had it all. He was the strongest, most brutal pack alpha known. He had respect and honor with every paranormal creature that crossed his path. Women of all species begged to warm his bed at night. But it wasn’t enough. His heart implored for the forbidden fruit that got away. His heart and soul ached for his friend. Nick wasn’t going to wait any longer. He was going to stop at nothing to get his mate. Even if he had to play dirty.
Romie wasn’t expecting a call from the pack alpha, Nick. No one had gone out of their way to speak to him since he secluded himself in his cave and refused to come out. Nick, on the other hand, wasn’t taking no for an answer. He said he had important news that Romie couldn’t ignore—he had a daughter. One call changed Romie’s fate.
With their whole world thrown upside down and out of control, Nick and Romie are called to an emergency Council meeting. A new threat had landed on the shores of the Island—a slave siren. What started out as a simple mission turned into so much more with just one look from the damaged girl.

OMG I loved this book, so many supernatural beings, sirens, dragons, wolves, you name they got it!
Nick is a very powerful alpha and he can have any female he desired, better yet which one didn't want to have a night with him....Problem is Nick didn't want any of them, yes he enjoyed the heck out of hot a female, but he more than enjoyed sharing them with his friend dragon shifter and member of the councel Romie, he enjoyed getting a feel of him here and there. He has never been with a man, but he feels such a strong and lustful desire for him that he can't keep it to himself any longer.
Romie is slowly but surely retreating and giving Romney (his dragon) more and more control and there is a reason for this, he has a secret that he has shared with no one and when Nick confesses his love for him he is overwhelmed with relief. He never imagined that his friend would feel the same. And then he finds out at the same time that he has a daughter and Nick decides to give up his position as alpha to his second and move to the Island to live with his family. But that is not all that befalls this unlikely couple, they find a female that they have the pleasure of breaking in in all ways for she has never been on land and needs to learn it all, even to walk.
There is so much intrigue, mysteries and laughs.....These aren't your ordinary stuffy counsel members, these will have you LoL!
I was beyond excited to finally have the fourth book in the Twisted Sister series, Romie and Nick's story (who was first introduced in Killer, book 3) and I absolutely loved it. I had so many questions throughout the book that I couldn’t wait to get the answers to, it was great being in their world again. I loved these characters and the story Lacy has created featuring them. There are no words to describe how much I loved them, Mirabel, Nick and Romie, in this book. I thought it was very well written with great interactions between everyone, some very hot scenes with those three, a lot of hilarious moments that had me laughing out loud (these characters were a crack up) and a rollercoaster of emotions. It annoyed and frustrated me so much (but in a good way) when a character was speaking and then got cut off mid sentence when something interesting was about to be said, when answers were about to be revealed. I was excited to finally know what they were when some were revealed later in the book. But it did leave me with some unanswered questions at the end. Family tree lines of some of the characters, I found, started to blur a bit and it was hard to keep up with who was related to who but I loved trying to figure it out. Once I thought I had it all sorted Lacy threw in something else, that had me like “YES!”. It got me excited for these characters and I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book
The gang are back and this time it's Romie's turn and I'm so pleased he got his story as I'm not gonna lie, I have a special place in my heart for this dragon along with one other. Lacy has a way of sucking you right I. And not letting you go and this time I didn't want to leave Devilice Island. This story is jam packed full of action, drama, humour and so much more. It had me on the edge of my seat all the way through and I was an emotional mess by the end and one particular scene made my heart melt. This lady has a true talent and a brilliant imagination and it's an honour to be able to read her books. I loved this book and this whole series and I can't recommend them enough ad I seriously can't wait for the next one.
I really enjoyed this book, it was paranormal and yet rather unique. Was Mirabel a mermaid or something so much more. Cast out of her home for more reasons that initially revealed. She is sold off to a shifter pack and ends up with a wolf and a dragon. They take her in but sparks are flying. The chemistry was hot and I was hoping it would all work out for them. Action, suspense, drama and sexual chemistry made for a great read.
This is the latest instalment of The Watchers series from Lacy LeRoch and it is everything you could want! Nick and Romie are strong, loveable characters and Mirabel may come across as weak and submissive at various points throughout the story but we get the opportunity to see her real inner strength when she will stop at nothing to fight for those she loves!
A brilliant book which is more than paranormal, more than mm/mfm - I would recommend reading the previous books in the series though.
