Traveling to other places in time, Ally is able to witness Edmund and Helene’s young love and uncovers how widespread the curse has become. No longer fearing the unknown, she willingly learns as much as she can, until one day a very real and unexpected danger reveals itself. Adding to her fear, she’s told Edmund has a proposal for her.

If you’ve read my author bio on my website or wherever my books are sold, you’re aware I began asking, “Why?” as a child. It drove my dad crazy, so he started asking me, “Are you writing a book?” Well, decades later I’m still asking, “Why?” and yes, I do write books. I really wish my dad had lived long enough to see me become a writer.
As an adult, I now realize it’s because my mind wants, or needs, to know why something works, doesn’t work, where it originated and so much more. My brain is always searching for answers, which makes enjoying a movie or TV show a bit of a challenge. I have learned to keep my mouth shut when watching television with others. Mentioning what’s coming next only ruins movies/shows for family and friends.
I have realized what is obvious to me isn’t for those around me. In no way am I trying to be a know-it-all, but I can plainly see the plot unfolding, leaving me disappointed I figured out the ending. I’ve been right more times than I’ve been wrong. I’m actually thrilled when I’m wrong. I thoroughly appreciate the writer(s) surprising me.
Combining my inquisitive mind with my love of writing is a joy for me. I love writing, from letters to actual stories. When it comes to my book writing I’ll admit I try my darnedest to surprise my readers. During my writing process, I find myself asking “Why?” which is a little strange, but if I’m wondering about something surely my readers will too. Not all questions are answered of course. I want to leave room for readers to ponder, “What happened next?” “Why did so and so do….” “What would I have done?” and anything else that spurs a conversation.
