3.5☆ Review:

This is a psychological webtoon that revolves around some pretty terrible bullying that happens towards Hyeongoh, a boy confined to a wheelchair & the revenge plot that another boy, Namsoo, creates in retaliation.

Namsoo was my favorite character. His backstory was sad. His personality was interesting. I wish we’d gotten to see even further into his future!

Where do I begin with this?

First off, the bullying in here is an absolute parallel to real life; no exaggeration, just an exact copy of real life. It opened my eyes to a lot of bullying incidents I never considered would occur, but unfortunately occur all the time. It is portrayed so accurately and realistically that it was genuinely difficult to read because I knew a victim probably did have to endure the same things Hyeongoh had to endure. That realization was really sad for me. The author clearly showed the bad sides of bullying and did not sugar coat anything and though it was hard to read it really teaches a lot.

*spoilers ahead*

I was glad to see Hyeongoh's character growth. Seeing him never defend himself at first was understandable - it's definitely not easy to stand up towards the sort of people that were bullying him. I was hoping he would eventually gain courage and learn to fight for himself as he went on. He didn't end up being able to change his circumstances very much I guess, but he did learn to talk back, fend for himself and do something rather than stay silent and accept the way things are. I was really glad to see his development and how the author showed you can bring yourself up.

With Namsoo.. well, I loved him at first. He seemed like a very sincere and just generally sweet soul and he was the only person who cared to befriend Hyeongoh. I was rooting for him to gain that friendship at first so much. But as the story progressed and he changed, I kind of lost all support for him. Firstly when he decided to fight bullying with bullying. That is not a solution. He should know that he cannot stop violence with violence. Every time I saw him hurt somebody that part in my heart that supported him just slowly kept dying down. I mean I understand what the author was trying to say. If you bully someone, you deserve the same to happen to you and certainly do not deserve to go on without ever seeing the consequences of your actions or facing the same thing you made your victims face. And I agree with that. But Namsoo's tactics from the very start were just messed up. Not only with his way of dealing with bullies, but also his way of dealing with Hyeongoh. He kept telling Hyeongoh he would "help him" and he could lean on him, but that was it. Now I think it's great that he's helping Hyeongoh. Hyeongoh obviously doesn't have the ability to do that so I was so glad Namsoo stepped in to help him. But he was telling Hyeongoh to do nothing but depend on him for help and while that may help now, it will not in the long run. How is Hyeongoh going to live his life if he's depending on Namsoo the whole time? Namsoo won't always be there. The guy's got to learn to slowly start looking after and supporting himself so he can live for himself. I just thought Namsoo's solution was very lacking. And maybe that was the author's intention since in the end, it is heavily implied that Namsoo is mentally unstable or insane. Maybe the author meant to show us that was the wrong solution through that and through the way he dealt with bullies. I hope so at least. It also bothered me how Namsoo cared so much to help Hyeongoh but competely ignored every other victim of bullying in the school. That's really not fair at all. And I guess it makes sense, Hyeongoh did end up being revealed as his brother so maybe that was he only reason Namsoo ever cared to help him to begin with. But I wish the author had done something about the other victims besides Hyeongoh too.

The plot twist at the end was done very well; I never would have guessed that they were brothers and more over twins. Though the back story was real sad :( They were so happy. They didn't deserve that.

The plot twist in Namsoo's character was also pretty surprising. I kind of already guessed it and had my suspicions he was mentally unstable, but I didn't think it was as bad as it ended up being. The ending wasn't satisfying at all to be honest; it didn't give us much hints at all as to what's going to happen in the future or a lot room for predictions.
The art was nice, it was pretty cute and detailed, and very beautiful at some scenes, like when focusing on Namsoo's eyes.

Overall it was a very good read and opened my eyes to a lot of ideas and topics.

Bro hands down....this is one of the best psychological dark revenage reads I've ever read during this pandemic time. I also want to let the people know that Namsoo is literally best boy for kicking nearly every bullies ass who ever plans to consider touching Hyeongoh. Those red eyes man were literally yassssss whenever he was aiming for the bullies lol. His sneaky attacks bro are literally gold lol. He's such a sweet Yandere seriously, especially when he gave Hyeongoh a basket of goodies while he was off schoo!! The pair of them are just so cute together (btw this manhwa ain't BL folks)💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

Like dude it is friggin not cool to bully someone just because they are in a wheelchair! This manhwa really shows how bullying absolutely can destroy people's lives. It boils my blood when there's nothing done about it and yet in this manhwa, we see all adults in this (except Hyeongoh's parents) be absolutely useless motherfudgers when events like this occured. You honestly feel like going into the story and give the adult characters a shake to them to WAKE THE F UP WTF ARE YOU DOING?!?! YOU SHOULD BE STOPPING THIS INSTEAD OF THINKING ABOUT YOURSELVES.

I just hated the teachers, the police and even some of the bullys parents, like they were such useless motherfudgers that made me blood boil like fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Btw to end on a final note, if you see someone bullied or if you are experiencing bullying yourself, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO TELL SOMEONE AS NO ONE SHOULD GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE ALONE! ALSO DO NOT FIGHT BACK LIKE NAMSOO DID, YOU'LL GET INTO HOT WATER IF YOU DO SO AGAIN TELL SOMEONE PLEASE!

I’ve been having real bad luck with manga lately and this just didn’t do it for me. I haven’t finished it — and doubt I will — but the main character is a weak whiny asshole (I’m sorry you’re in a wheelchair brotha but I don’t want pity to be all I feel for ya) and the other characters are stupid. Every single last one of them is stupid. I hate all of them. You want a good manga with a paraplegic protagonist go read “Real” (I love “Real”) and if you want a revenge story with a good plot go read “Blade of the Immortal” or “Berserk” or “Shigurui” or WATCH “The Count of Monte Cristo” or read “Until Death do us Part” (with the added bonus of blind guy protagonist and a loli) or the Devil May Cry manga that’s about V or “Beastars” (kinda not really) or... literally anything else. Revenge isn’t some thing we really lack in anime or regular literature.

The art was pretty though and maybe it does get better, but I’m 22 chapters in and don’t care anymore.

This is my favorite webtoon ever. Everything about it is amazing. This manhwa motivated me to read more manhwas. A lot of people might not like the main characters but I love them. Especially Namsoo. He’s the cutest boy ever and only deserves love, just like with Hyeongoh. I don’t understand how people could hate him. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be independent. You just have to try and understand him. I wasn’t too fond of him in the beginning, but the more I read, the more I understood him. I would recommend this manhwa, obviously. But with trigger warnings.

Another psychological manga recommended to me by my roommate. I enjoyed the story and thought the artwork was really good; it did an excellent job at building suspense and keeping me scrolling in anticipation. It also had a fairly satisfying ending, which is difficult to accomplish in this genre.

The first half was really hard to read. But in the second I was so excited reading the psycho in action. . . not sure what that says about me.

Also, the most bittersweet ending ever.

Pretty good story, really enjoyed the first 9/10ths of it but the twist at the end really didn’t work for me. Also, for some reason the character with the twist just kinda devolves into a little kid at the end? they have been shown to be smart and able to fit in, so why does their personality do a total 180 in the last two chapters?

HOLY FUCK THIS WEBTOON WAS SO GOOD!!! The plot, the characters--it's exactly what I need. The bullying incidents were so brutal to the point where I had to stop reading some parts because it was so...like...graphic? Not to mention I loved the art style. 10000/10.

Plus I'm pressed that mangago took it off their website, I can't find it anywhere except Lezhin :(

This story was a ride!! Extremely Sad, dramatic, thrilling. Loved every moment of it. I’ve never wanted to beat up kids this much in my life. I wanted to beat up the adults even more specifically the teachers working in the school.
