Fun, gamey, space travel and saving the day. Super Rabbit Boy has great fun travelling round space and saving the day! These are great graphic novels for younger children in particular.
{My thoughts} – This book is a bit different from the others as it doesn’t go along with the Animal Crossing/Mario like theme. I suppose it sort of does if you take in account the Mario Galaxy games.
Super Rabbit Boy ends up getting tricked into going to outer space to stop the bad King Viking. He chases after him in a level one ship and eventually finds his way to him, while making a couple of friends on the way.
This was a really fun book to read and was extremely fast paced. The text and the words all go together nicely. This is a wonderful book for any child that enjoys playing and or reading about video games.
So with all the bosses Super Rabbit Boy is mixing up with, I just couldn't keep track of how many times he was leveling up. When I figured out Glop Glorp was King Viking, I was just surprised beyond all reason. But how he managed to defeat him was amazing.

Ok - this was a fun installment. My absolute favorite part was the way the two journeys (the family journey to Grandma's and Super Rabbit Boy's Journey through space) played out together.
So, like I mentioned in my Super Rabbit Boy vs. Super Rabbit Boss! review these were Epiphany gifts - and I had no idea that my oldest managed to read both that book and this book before he went to school - and they are just so delightful. The story was super fun, but the illustrations are just superb. My not yet reading 5 year old feels like she can read along and know what is happening and I think that's just great. I know that we will enjoy more of these in the future.
I recommend this book because It is a space-per(Space+super =Space-per) book about Super rabbit boy vs. King viking in space. An alien lands from Space in a rocket and says King Viking has been troubling them in space. The alien gives him his level 1 rocket. He has to defeats some mega robots to upgrade his rockets to higher levels. Finally he lands in another rocket. He sees King Viking or is it some one else??
Read this book to find out.
The illustrations in this book are so PIXELIFIED,that it feels as if you are playing the real video game.
Cute early chapter book/graphic novel. My 7 year old gives it a 5/5 stars same says it's his favorite series ever. He asked me to read it. I like that the graphics are both cute and pixelated like a video game. It has full color throughout the book.
My kids and I were thinking that this book was super repetitive and highly predictable but then we got thrown a fast ball with a plot twist that we didn't see coming.
The human side got 5 stars for the realism. Super Rabbit Boy got 3 stars because it started to get a bit repetitive. I do think they worked well together in this book.
It’s like Fast and the Furious 9 they go to space just to get another one of the collection out there. NO SINGING DOG BY THE WAY! (sorry I just wanted to add that)
A is checking these books out at his school library (CCE - 2nd grade - age 7) From his teacher's library. They are good books. Easy to read. Comics He likes the pictures a lot
I thought I had read this whole series, but I guess not. My 2yo son saw this lying around and requested it. I was surprised that he was actually engaged for most of the book.
