The Slave Series

Rate this book
This box set includes all FIVE books in the Slave Series.

Book 1: The Accidental Slave (Aya's Story)
Aya Johansen is a young nurse working with refugees in a war zone, when she's captured by fanatical religious warriors. She's determined to break free, even if it means compromising her own values and starting a relationship with one of her kidnappers, but can she trust him?

Book 2: The Healing Slave (Sybina's story)
Aston, a cynical British ex-soldier, is taken hostage and almost beaten to death before Sybina brings him back to life. Can two radically different people find a way out of the hell-hole they're in and if they do, what then? Can Aston leave Sybina to fend for herself in a war-torn country where women without protection are easy prey, or is he obligated to take her back to London, an overwhelming place for a woman who has lived in a basement for years?

Book 3: Never a Slave (Sofia's story)
When Aya's friend, Sofia, moves to London, she lives out one night of wild and uninhibited sex with a stranger, thinking she's playing it safe by insisting on no personal information shared between them..
Unfortunately her weekend hottie turns out to be her new VIP client, a man who hurt her friends in the past. Sofia is pissed - and it doesn't help that Oliver, with his insufferable ego, won't accept that Sofia isn't interested in repeating their night together.
How is Sofia supposed to be professional and polite to London's biggest a-hole when she's known to be direct and without a filter?

Book 4: The Feisty Slave (Uma's story)
Can you be too broken for love?

Uma was born a slave and grew up in a war zone. With a good head on her shoulders and a feisty personality, she has fought off grown men more than once. Brutality, violence, and dirty tricks are her world. But when Uma is rescued from slavery a new world opens up to her, challenging her to reconsider the simplistic worldview her loving mother and the other female slaves have drilled into her brain: All men are swine!

Aidan sees Uma as a spoiled brat with an attitude problem. Still, she's new in London and he feels obligated to step up and "babysit" her until she finds her own friends.
Problem is, she's the most difficult girl he has ever met. And with her constant need to provoke and challenge him she's quickly driving him insane.

Will Aidan give up on Uma and prove her right, or will he be the one guy that makes her take a chance on love?

Book 5: King of Slaves (Jenna's story)
Award-winning architect Jenna Davis is not happy when she's asked to take on a last-minute job and move to Spirima to help rebuild the country after a five-year-long civil war.
It's a culture clash when the king refuses to work with a woman and Jenna in return calls him a chauvinistic a-hole, which lands her in a small cell for insulting His Royal Highness.
Jenna wants out of the small, dirty cell, and the next time she sees the King of Spirima he'd better be prepared for one strong modern Western woman who won't take any of his men-are-better-than-women crap.

With this box set you'll be on an emotional roller coaster and the pages will turn themselves. It's a steal and all you have to do is click the button to get started.

(All five books in the Slave series are intended for mature readers only as they contain graphic language and sexual scenes of a violent nature.)

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the books in The Slave Series, however if you prefer to read books in a series and have them in one place instead of having to keep buying the book then you can go and grab the boxset which includes all of the books. I seriously loved reading this collection and I can honestly say that it’s well worth the read. I know for a fact that I will continue to support Elin Peer as her writing has managed to captivate me in a way which I didn’t think was possible.

This series starts off with a bang and goes from there. This is a set of stories each a standalone but all intertwined. These strong women and the men they love deal with many facets of human nature, torture, murder, war, pain, and suffering beyond what you can imagine and they survive. What they do to survive may surprise you, it may even disgust you but the struggle is real. Their love, pain, understanding, sacrifices, lives, it's all real and this author breaks it down and feeds it to you one book at a time. Accidental Slave stretched me to my core but each book had it's impact. There is no way you can read this author's work and not be touched in some way or another. She writes books that touches you and draws you into the struggle of her characters, into the world she creates. You may not like one of her characters or what is going on but by the end she has converted you and nothing will be the same.

A must read

I admit when I began reading this series, I almost didn't finish the first book. The events written about were emotionally disturbing for me. Reading this series will stir up all emotions. It will be a rollercoaster of anger, pain, heartbreak, perseverance, hope, love, and laughter.

Intimate relationship bantering between characters is endearing. The stories told are heart wrenching and difficult to imagine. Elin Peer does a fantastic job in writing this series.

This is a great way to get all of these books at a fantastic price. These books are a great read that really satisfies. Each book draws you in and really connects you to the characters. Elin Peer does a wonderful job telling these stories and doesn't skimp. Be warned though...my life was put on hold while I did a bit of binge reading...it's almost impossible to put down!

My favorite part of these stories is how realistic the characters are. They are not ideal models of what romance novel characters are supposed to be. The characters deal with real issues in real ways regardless of the fact that the whole series revolves around a fake country. It could be any country, which I believe is the author's intent.

Warning: Make some time because you will not be able to put these books down and you won't be able to read just one!!!
