After thirty-five years of peaceful marriage, Bobbi and Wilber Weston have come to a crossroads. They each want something different, and neither is willing to give in to the other. Bobbi loves her children and grandbabies more than she’d ever imagined, and she doesn’t think asking for a change in the plans she’d made with Wilber many years ago should be a difficult thing. Wilber has been waiting his entire life to get the monkey off his back so he can travel, but now his wife has other plans for their future. He doesn’t understand why they can’t continue with their goals as they were doing before the children married and procreated. Will the two of them be able to make a compromise that will please them both? Or will their marriage end up being just another ugly statistic?
This is a wonderful story of remember love and renewing love when sometimes we forget how important that person is to us but it's also about redeeming and forgiving love.
This time it's not a new love, but an old one, it's the story of the Weston's parents and how they met and fell in love. There were a couple of things that bothered me, first, the way it was written, it was difficult to follow, because it kept jumping from past to present and sometimes it wasn't easy to see when they were back in the present. Another thing that bothered me was that the Bobbi we read about in this book is not the same overbearing, controlling mother we saw from previous books, the one that tried to force her daughter to marry a guy she couldn't stand, or the one who tried to ruin her other daughter's wedding trying to impose her ideas, it turns out everything we knew about her was wrong. It's hard to keep track of a character when there are many writers involved, but even comparing her with books written by the same author, it feels like a different character.
This was a really good story but a bit different I think than the others in this series that I have read. It's one I have to try to get my husband to read. Bobbie and Wilber Weston, the parents of the Weston siblings running the ranch are heading toward their 35th wedding anniversary and planned on celebrating their 35th anniversary by renewing their vows but one of them is having doubts because there is a feeling that after all this time they have drifted apart. There are other major things going on that they aren't sure what to do about the big problem facing them they hadn't counted on. It's a wonderful story that was a bit more serious but filled in how the parents met and thinking back on the last where their love story began. You have to read this one to know if they get their second happily ever after. Kirsten Osbourne really knows all the things that make a good story great. She creates really interesting characters and often complex stories as a good author should. I loved this story as an eye opener for anyone in a long term marriage or even those thinking about it but it's a fun story and great back filling of a story we didn't know about or at least I didn't so a lot of fun facts come out in this story. If you are already a fan of the multi author River's End Ranch series I know you will read this one. If you haven't started reading this series I highly recommend the whole series. All the books I have read so far are really good and fun to read. I admit I am doing a catch up and skilled over some but all these books are available on Kindle Unlimited if you read the electronic way. Get this one and the rest of them. You will love this series.
We’ve encountered the Weston parents long distance for most of the series, lately a bit closer as they headed home for the birth of their first grandchild (which turned into twins). In Forever Family we’ll get a look at Bobbi and Wilber Weston in the present as they face an unexpected development in their long term travel plans. And we’ll reminisce as Bobbi remembers how they met and the beginnings of all these lives they’ve created and touched.
I could give you all the reasons that Bobbi is my least favorite Weston… and why this story only proved that annoyance. But I won’t. I’m simply going to leave this review as another well written tale by Kirsten Osbourne that added to the ongoing series. Simply because I could not connect with or even like these main characters doesn’t take away from my enjoyment of this entire series. I’ll just keep my eye out for the next story and wish Bobbi and Wilber well.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

It's taken 26 books and a group of fabulous authors, but here we are at the beginning. Bobbi and Wilbur have been traveling the country in their RV while directing their children about all the projects they wanted finished at River's End. Oh yeah, they threw in a little match making along the way. It's been 35 years and all of their plotting has led up to a vow renewal and plans for their future.
Delightful story about how love began at River's End Ranch. You can see from the love in the parents relationship how the children were able to meet and fall in love so quickly. I can identify with the story because my husband and I only went on two dates and married after four months. We're on our 47th year.
Way to contrived. Like a top big bite of cotton candy. Characters read flat, with no reality to them. And I hate books where (spoiler alert) all marital problems are the woman's fault. My least favorite of the series, and I hope the next one is back to the standard i have come to love and expect.
Love the storyline and wouldn't mind a visiting a place like Rivers End. What a wonderful place to grow up. Can't wait to read the next one. Please keep them coming!
Loved the storyline and have read all of them up till now. Hope you keep them coming. Would've loved to have grown up in a low e like Rivers End.
Loved this story. To be so in love after 35 years is an awesome feat. My husband and I have been married 42 years and have faced the same issues as Bobbi and Wilber. We both love our 2 children and 5 grandchildren with all our hearts but still find the special times for ourselves. Great read and I do love the Rivers End Ranch series. Thank you Kristen Osbourne.
I absolutely loved this story!!! Bobbi has got to be one of my favorite characters thank you so much for continuing this series and now that we have cousins this could never end, it's the series that never ends!!!!!
This was one of my favorites in this series. This back story explained a lot about the beginnings of the ranch and also was a sweet story of maturing love. Another great addition to the series.
Now we know how it all began. How Jaclyn talked to fairies. Where Gorgeous George came from. Kelsey's love of Bigfoot. Thank you Kristen for another heartfelt read.
Really wonderful book in the River's End Ranch series. Told the story of Wilbur and Bobbie Weston. Really sweet and was great to get to know them. Also explains how Jaclyn started talking to the fairies.
I cannot say these are GREAT litterture but they are great little stories to read , and I have read all 26 of them. I do'nt know if their be any more, but if more do come up I will be sure to get them also.
Find out all about true love or at least a good portion. Heart wrenching, heart warming, love surrendered willingly. Bobbie gets her forever family... What more could you want???
Another fantastic River's End story!!! I've fallen in love with the entire Weston family. Kirsten Osbourne does it again with another gem. If you haven't read the series, you are missing out! Everyone needs fairies & gnomes in their lives.
There are not enough words that can express how wonderful and beautiful this book is written. Just read it, it is this good of a book. Excellent writing and reading. Enjoy!!!!!
I enjoyed this yarn more than any of the others in the series simply because it pulled together the earlier story lines in a wonderful way. Well done! WARNING: Do not read before reading the earlier books!
This was a very good read. The story had a very well written plot and the characters seemed like every day life. Please take time to read this book as I think everyone will enjoy this story.
Oh my goodness! I loved this whole series but this one is my favorite. Knowing how Bobbie and Wilber meet each other was the best. I cried so much while reading this story. So on to the next one. Great job Kristen Osbourne
Bobbi & Wilber HEY! Bobbi and Wilbur back off your kids and quit making so many demands and quit setting goals for them! They are all adults and married and you trusted them with the ranch when you left to go running around the country!

Bobbi and Wilber's love story needed to be told! It was refreshing to go alongside Bobbi in memory land. I loved her grandparent trip with Vivian! If I had a compliant, it would be that the story ended too quickly.
Just what everyone needs unconditional love! Bobbie and Wilbur the ranch patriarchs are having a mid life crisis. Remember ing their blessings help to unite their love. Good for all ages. - Babs
These people have been a long time family for me, having read almost all of the series. Fun times with good people and great scenes of mountains and lakes.
Awesome amazing story of love and family and even forgiveness. This one tied a lot of the other stories together. The rivers end ranch is a dream place filled with Love!
