A Real Miami Love Story: Lyric and Payne

As Payne’s star rises in the music industry, the envy and hatred that his brother, Andre, has for him reaches a boiling point. When the lyricist and the MC cross paths, magic happens. They seem to find in each other what they are missing in their lives. First I must say this book had me all in my emotions and had my heart hurting for Lyric and Ben. The so called Mother and Step-Father had me ready to kill and then some. ready for their demise and fast. This book had some of everything from beginning to end drama, action, lies, betrayal and deceit and was very well written. Loved how it flowed and held my attention and before I knew it I was finish and wanted so much more.Loved the chemistry between Lyric & Payne and can't wait to see how it develops. Definitely feeling this book and can't wait to see what unfolds in PT.2 and that cliffhanger ending ....OMG. Awesome job Tasha Nashay.

Omg I can not take that ending at. My jaw is literally on the floor. Kevin and daisy gotta go asap. What type of mother would let a man treat her kids like that. I feel so bad for lyric. I knew from jump Chelsea wasn't a real friend to her. I'm glad Payne came into lyric life because I know he about to shake things. I can't wait for the secret Maya holding to blow up in her face. Tasha did a great job with this story and I look forward to reading book 2

Good book
I like the book over all but my problem is with the main character Lyric why not speak up. When you seen your brother being treated like a dog and I making him suck his penis. Why not help him because at this point and where is better then the hell whole they call a home. Please next book give her a backbone because I hated how scary she was. Now her brother is gone because no saved him.

Bravo 👏🏾
Amazing job Tasha. Every character played out very well. Payne seems like a really decent guy. Page after page is captivating, thrilling and intense. The ending of course was unexpected, definitely threw me off to which is a good thing. Can't wait for part 2 my goodness I'm anxious 😩!!!!

Woooooow!!!
This book had you from the beginning and poor Lyric and Ben. This is the first book I've read in a long time that mad me want to slap fire out of someone. I don't want to give to much away but I hope Andre, Maya and Lyric's so called best friend get everything they deserve. Trust me reading this book you won't be disappointed.

I feel like this ended too fast. I needed more lol
I really feel for Lyric and Ben. Their momma is a piece of crap. You never choose a man over your kids. I like Payne but his brother Andre is tripping hard. That ending had me in tears. I hope Ben made it and didn't pass away. I hope part 2 isn't too far away

Excellent book
This book was really good. Lyric went through so much. I can't believe her mother could be so cruel and mean. And to take up for a man that not only abuse her kids but her too. Payne seems to be a really nice guy. I hope him and Lyric do end up together. His brother Andre makes me sick. That ending crushed me. I can't wait for part two.

I can't stand Andre, Kevin, Maya or Lyric sorry mammy! I really hope Ben isn't really dead, I have a feel the Maya son really is Andre son ummm just trifling. I hope Gleek remain loyal to Payne and hopefully Payne find out exactly what he grimy brother is trying to do to him.

WOW.. the ending was unexpected!,
Lyric went through so much and persevered. There are no words for Kevin and Daisy🤯🤯. Payne has no idea of the chaos that going on around him. So disappointed in Chels, Maya, Tammy and Andre. The situation with Payne and Andre is classic.On to Part 2

I hate the fact that lyric is goin thru all that but y didn't she say anything to the people that's trying to help... Chelsea is a fraud lil bihhh Andre tryna destroy his brother because he wanted out of the family drug empire... now lyric brother has died... It was sad life for Lyric and her brother and the saddest part about it, is there are really so call moms that put their men before their kids and know about the abuse. Gotta get part 2 gotta get better for Lyric.

Couldn’t stomach…
For the most part I couldn’t stomach the things going on in this one especially with Ben and the whole victim mind frame when you’re given every opportunity to speak up. The ending was messed up and I’d read the next one.

Good book and I could not put it down!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and it kept me engrossed!! The ending in this book was absolutely fantastic and incredible. I can not wait to read the next new book in this series.

I actually skimmed a couple of pages to get to Lyric and Payne's parts of this book.

I feel so bad for the things lyric and Ben going thru that damn mama and Kevin need their tails beat..and that damn suppose to be best friend need to get it too...and Andre..smdh....I love Payne..and when Payne finds out the truth...boy oh boy....nooooo to that ending ...don't hurt her more than she is hurting now...poor lyric....
