They say that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
So, I didn’t; he did.
My walls shattered, leaving me
Exposed,
Naked
and Vulnerable.
Now I’m blinded by the lights reflecting off the shards of glass.
He sweeps in and sweeps me up,
rebuilding my walls with his
tattooed arms,
hungry eyes
and powerful lips that whisper,

She still considers herself a new author. So, if you are just learning about her, she writes stories about heroes and heroines that are quirky and will may make you giggle while reading. Her characters are much like her and frequently break out in song or bad jokes. Okay, you can Snicker at that, she doesn’t mind.
When she’s not writing she’s sitting in front of the television eating frosting straight out of the can. While she’s the mother to two Junior Mints, she also adds proud wife to one Hot Tamale of a husband to her resume.
Sonnie’s ultimate goal in life, besides writing the great American novel, is to one day find out who Mike & Ike really are.

4.5 stars! Unexpected intrigue and suspense!
Sometimes you never know what you’re getting yourself into when reading a new author. Fortunately, BREATHE was an enjoyable read and I can’t believe it’s the author’s debut.
The heroine, Grace Stratton, is not your typical NYC socialite. She’s fiercely loyal, unspoiled, and more importantly, family is her priority. Even with all of the luxuries available to her, she’s down to earth. After being engaged to her high school sweetheart for several years, she suddenly finds herself newly single. With her best friend and her family’s support, she moves on. And she moves on with a hot, bar owner, Lincoln Prescott. Their relationship progresses quickly.
I’m all about book boyfriends. You can never have too many. Linc is both an alpha and a beta if that makes sense. I love mysterious book boyfriends and this one definitely has a big secret. One that will make you swoon. Linc is also fiercely protective and so enamored by Grace that sometimes you’d like to be her. I write sometimes because not all is rosy Grace Stratton’s world. Something sinister shrouds her. The suspense and intrigue was a welcome surprise.
This is the book you will want to read on a day when you can lounge around and enjoy the company of new book friends. Grace has some swoon-worthy brothers and I wonder if one will be a hero in a separate novel. Hint. Hint.

I was so surprise that Breath was Sonnie Wolf’s debut novel. I can’t wait to see where she goes from here and now she grows. As it is, her debut novel was written so perfectly. The storyline was great! I was a huge fan of Grace! I also loved the secondary characters… Grace’s brothers! Give us more from this family! They’re great!
I loved Grace. For a spoiled, gorgeous socialite… she wasn’t petty and horrible! Does horrible make sense? Yeah, I think it does since you know some horrible rich girls… right? Right! Anyway, Grace is so kind and giving… she loves her family and is close to them. Link is totally the dominating alpha male we all love in our stories! While things are hot and moving quickly… someone is keeping secrets!
Wolf writes a super original and interesting story. Her characters are likable. The secondary characters make you hope that we’re gonna get more from this group of people… perhaps a series is on the agenda? Or at least some standalones that are interconnected… I just want more from these people! I loved the bit of suspense and intrigue that was added in… it made the book super easy to read and totally enthralling! I can’t wait to see where else this new author takes us!

Sonnie Wolf has a great debut novel!
This debut novel has it all: great characters, great story line, and awesome new book boyfriend! Linc is just too much of everything! And you can never get too much of a good thing!

This was a great debut novel! Grace and Linc have fantastic chemistry. If you enjoy an Alpha Male then you will instantly fall in love with Linc. His sense of protectiveness is palpable. 💕
I also loved the closeness of Grace’s family. Her brothers were maybe a tad over protective but what else would you expect for the only girl in the family?
I’m looking forward to more from Sonnie Wolf in the future.

Breathe is a great start for a new author. I love a book that grabs me and makes me feel things, that gets a reaction from me and Sonnie Wolf does this with Breathe. The story itself is great, well paced and kept me reading despite how I felt about the characters.
Ahh the characters, so real - not at all the perfect man and woman team that often comes in a romance book.
Grace is a simpering sook who spends a lot of time complaining that the men in her life run her life and treat her like a child and yet does nothing to remedy the situation and continues to play the child. "Nothing is going to happen to you Gracie.....All you need to worry about is keeping yourself happy." "I'll try." OMG woman grow up and get a life that doesn't just revolve around you and your happieness.
Now Linc, at first glance Linc is the hot alpha male that every woman craves... untill you realise he's a large muscle bound tattood bundle of insecurity and need. Despite claiming to be all about Grace every second word from his mouth is I. I want you. I need you. You are my reason for breathing. She belongs to me. Again, it's not all about you.
These two are perfect for each other, she's all about being managed by a man and he's all about what is his. The most likeable character by far is Rafe - the obligatory gay bestie who is known to go all alpha male every now and then but still steps back and ensures Grace makes an occasional decision of her own.
What can I say, Sonnie has created a group of friends and family that are very real, you love them, you hate them, they are just like your own. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Sonnie Wolf hit it out of the park with her debut novel. I couldn't put this book down. I loved how protective Lincoln was from the moment him and Grace met. He is everything you would want in a book boyfriend (good looking, strong, family oriented and protective)! However, Lincoln is mysterious and harbours a lot of secrets that unravel throughout the novel that leave you on the edge of your seat. Grace is one heck of a strong-willed woman who can hold her own throughout the novel. She is struggling to get over her broken engagement and her ex is bound and determined to cause as much grief for her as he can. The added suspense in this novel, will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I never expected the twists and turns of this novel but I loved every minute of it. The romance in this book is top notch and the love between Lincoln and Grace's family is beautiful. Everyone has each other's backs! Don't miss out on this incredible novel!

What debut book for a new author. I fell in love Grace the rich daddy's girl and her brothers. Miles is o protective over her. As her life pins out of control her brothers get her go out and enter Linc into life. Always there for her to help protect her. There are twist and turns that I didn't see ccoming. Grace's BBF Rafe every girl should have one like him. Very excited to see where Ms, Wolf will go next, I hope she will make a series about Grace's brothers and Dad. On your way Ms. Wolf. Enjoyed reading this very much

Very Good Read
This book has lots of twists & turns, till you don't know whose the good guy & whose the bad ones! Grace is sometimes so childish that you want to smack her, other than that it's well written with engaging characters & A storyline that keeps you guessing till the end!

Really enjoyed reading Breathe, there was at times when I had to take a deep breath too. This book was full of heartbreak, danger, mystery, and love. Couldn't put this book down. Loved it. Recommend.

Great story!
Overprotective family and friends and true love all in one story. Linc and Grace just go together. Happily ever after takes some work to get to but it's a great read to get there.

My Favorite Book
I read this book when it first came out and absolutely adored it. I read it at least once a year when I need to feel all the love. The fact that the hero is hot, sexy, and whispers words of love in Italian are a big bonus! a girl can dream, can't she?

For a debut book, it was awesome! Congrats, Sonnie!! I really enjoyed it! I just loved Lincoln and how he swooped right in to take care of Grace. Swoon! I highly recommend this book!
