"Hmm..." is the first thought that comes to my mind when I think about this book. Forever is a Lie is a masterpiece in itself. Be it suspense, fear, romance, sex or murder... this book has it all.

The story revolves around Prisha and Saveer - both names are pretty attractive - and it pretty simple yet weird. Author has written the book from both perspectives, which makes it even better. The innocence of Prisha, her heartbreak, her falling in love is typical teenage stuff. But the entry of Saveer - his maturity and his 'mean monster' persona makes it more mature. At times you feel irritated with Prisha and her persistence, but I guess that's the beauty of the story. It brings that originality. The character of Saveer is dark and full of suspense. However for me, honestly it was pretty predictable but I still enjoyed it.

The characters are well defined and narrated. Shy and weird Diggy and flimsy Gauri are good value addition to the story.

This is first book in this series. Second and final book in this series is "Forever is True". The book has built up suspense and curiosity and keep the reader engaged. It is great for people starting out reading and have an interest in Thriller genre. For seasoned readers, it might be underwhelming and naive. It is an easy read and I finished the book in one sitting.

This was the first book I read by Novoneel Chakraborty and also first book by an Indian author and I can't explain the grip this book had on me. Novoneel became my favourite author after I read this and the second part. It had everything, love, passion, romance, mystery, thrill, everything a perfect book needs to have. I ordered the second part the same day I started this one and finished it.

Honestly speaking, As the author mentions in a Prologue that THE STORY WILL NOT LET YOU PUT THE BOOK DOWN ! Its really a fact and was really desperate to go with the concluding part of the FOREVER series. Currently reading the concluding one itself as having many questions in my mind about SAVEER ! One must read it.

1 star only for the last 15 pages which seemed interesting. The entire book was very boring with narration which I felt is inspired by Durjoy Dutta books. Why do you authors feel it is cool for an 18-year-old girl to do drugs, alcohol & other meaningless stuff? Deeply disappointed with this book. I hope the sequel turns out good.

Awesome

I liked everything. Every word, every emotion, every feeling expressed. It was a total love. And it was as thrilling as the cliff hanger is chilling.

An Average Read

The book is a great read for first-time mystery lovers but not for those who already are a fan of mystery. It was a roller coaster ride with great twists. Mystery prevailed on every page but the cliffhanger at the end was a bit weird.

This is the story of Prisha, who falls in love with Saveer, a man twice her age who has a secret of his own- to which even he remains oblivious. He is surrounded by ill- fate whereby whoever he loves dies.
The story is an average one, where Prisha goes on an endeavor to win over Saveer. The thrilling essence is highly lacking, with exception to a few episodes where a lady is seen lurking in the background. The book is just a conduit to the second part and is filled with exaggerated incidents. As a thriller it is quite disappointing.
