Fury has made a name for himself in club life as a member and officer who calls things like he sees ‘em, and not a man to put up with lies and deceit. When he takes time to think about it, he finds the reputation amusing considering the kind of guy he used to be.
As soon as he could, Gabe Ledbetter fled his family’s home in the mountains of Kentucky. Those hills and valleys were undeniably beautiful, but they masked a painful legacy of loss and betrayal. Gabe counted himself fortunate to have gotten out, his scream-filled nightmares a reminder that not everyone had been as lucky.
Gabe, now called Fury, has built a family for himself with the men he calls brothers. Over time, he worked his way from club to club, managing to climb the ladder of responsibility until in his small world he was the top dog. Big man, but one with an empty bed.
Bethany Mason-Taylor has lived her whole life in survival mode. From her first memories of a traumatic childhood, it always felt as if she were skating a mere stone’s throw ahead of disaster. Everything finally seems to be on track for success, and now that she’s put her most embarrassing fiasco behind her, managing the come-back tour for a band signed by her brother’s record label should be a breeze.
That is until one gloriously handsome redhead slipped into her hotel room and derailed all of Bethy’s carefully laid plans. She’s the forbidden fruit, sister of his MC President. He’s her ultimate weakness. Oh yeah, this is gonna be fun.

*Please note this book is part of the Rebel Wayfarers MC book series, featuring characters from additional books in the series. If the books are read out of order, you’ll twig to spoilers for the other books, so going back to read the skipped titles won’t have the same angsty reveals. I strongly recommend you read them in order. Available Mica (book #1), Slate (book #2), Bear (book #3), Jase (book #4), Gunny (book #5), Mason (book #6), Hoss (book #7), and Duck (book #8), Watcher (book #9), Bones (book #10), and Fury (book #11). Upcoming titles in the series Cassie (book #12).
Raised in the south, Wall Street Journal & USA TODAY bestselling author MariaLisa deMora learned about the magic of books at an early age. Every summer, she would spend hours in the local library, devouring books of every genre. Self-described as a book-a-holic, she says "I've always loved to read, but then I discovered writing, and found I adored that, too. For reading...if nothing else is available, I've been known to read the back of the cereal box."
A member of Romance Writers of America, deMora has penned a variety of stories, with five established series that include motorcycle romance, veteran repatriation, and time travel, as well as a romantic standalone, dark suspense, and a legal thriller. Her website is filled with links and information, as well as extras like character interviews, playlists, poetry, and trailer videos!
Her short bio reads, "Plate-spinner / cat herder at work; totally geeked author; single mom in the thick of autism at home; hockey freak; wanna-be hiker; usta-be/on-again EQ gamer."
OMG! You really need to be a devoted fan and reader to understand everything that happened in this book! I mean we're going way back to when Bethany, Willa, Mica and Sosa were all kidnapped! Yeah..that fiasco! If you haven't read any of the previous books, you will be confused because this book ties so much together! Luckily for me I love the Rebels and am super loyal to these ferocious but lovely men, so I knew exactly what was going on! Yay me!!
I have to say that I've been looking forward to Fury's story since he was first introduced, even though he started off as a member of Diamante, but I won't hold that against since he made the greatest decision ever to patch into the Rebels! Gotta say I was so disappointed in what he did to Bethany! She did not deserve that betrayal, not after everything she went through in her life! I will say that I'm so glad MdM wrote Bethany the way she did, strong, tough, courageous, full of love and forgiveness. Which means instead of us reading how she used his betrayal to keep him at arms length and played back and forth games, we get a woman who learns from her mistakes, forgives and moves on! At the end of the day it was either be happy with the man she loves or be miserable and alone. Her decision allowed the story to move on flawlessly! Must be all that red hair he has, yummy!!!!!
While there was so much going on, it was nice getting the POV from Bethany's standpoint. We never really got to see what happened to her during her three week captivity or how she dealt with the aftermath and while she didn't suffer like poor Willa did, it was safe to assume she was damaged if only mentally, I was right. Think she dealt with it as best as possible considering the one who received the worst of it was Willa.
Bethany has been through so much in her life, much more than any adolescent should go through, most of which I will not mention so as to not ruin the story for any readers. Just know her, along with every female in this series...strongest women ever! They always come out on top.
Unfortunately because MdM goes back so far in order to give us the full effect of Fury and Bethy's story, we also have to deal with Watchers news again and Hope's, Hoss's wife. It was special getting to see how their son, Sammy, has grown and is coming into his own, but I did not like reading about the two characters that made me cry the most! Seriously!
Love me some Mason and we get a whole lot of Mason in this one! Lucky us right? Yeah, not really, not after finding out what he has planned, works out well for Fury, happy for him, but sad for Mason even though its his decision, still...
Lastly, absolutely loved the ending! It must have been the most cutest ending ever! The new generation of Rebels are starting off so fucking darling! Made me smile to see them interacting in such a telling way! Maybe MdM can be persuaded to do a new generation spinoff... ;o)
Pike...I'll light a candle for him....NOT!!!!
Overall...this was an amazing read, there was a lot going on but if you know the history then you can get along just fine! MdM totally rocked it in this one! Fury, I feel is the book to bring all past books together and MdM did a great job pulling that off!
Bethany and Fury’s story pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go! I knew this was going to happen when we got to meet them and I am so very happy for it! I got what I expected and as usual always more!
I love how well developed this series is and even though this is Fury and Bethany’s story, we get to see glimpses into all our other favorite characters and see previous joys and heartaches in a different perspective. Just adds so much more to this series as a whole!
I’m a big fan of MariaLisa and a Rebel Wayfarer for life!
There is just something magical about how MariaLisa deMora puts words to paper. With every Rebel Wayfarers MC novel, her writing style has never failed to transport me into the story. She so easily breaths life into the characters I have grown to love. With Fury, she provided a story I’ve since craved after Fury came into the picture a few stories back. He was a tough man you never wanted to cross, but there was always something inherently good about him that just left an everlasting impression on me.
As with all RWMC novels, the author doesn’t just throw out a romance with a plot line to keep your interest. No, MariaLisa deMora writes a story of the characters. Where they came from, how they’ve grown and what they’ve been through and along their life’s journey they find a soulful, needful all encompassing love that makes everything they’ve been through a path worth walking.
Fury and Bethany’s story was no different. Their story spanned over more than a decade with each having their own secrets and trials to get them where they are, but they shared a connection that was stronger than any challenge they could ever face and they were all the stronger for it. Bethany’s strength showed just how similar she and her brother, Mason, were. She endured way more than anyone could possibly fathom, but she only grew stronger in spite of it. That strength only fueled Fury’s desire for her. That and her feisty sass. They were soulmates through and through.
We have seen in previous books that Fury and Mason’s little sister, Bethy, had quite the chemistry going on. What we didn’t know though was just how far back that chemistry went. Well now we get to find out just how deep and long their relationship goes.
Lots of secrets are revealed, lots of things happening in the MC, plus of course Mason and the club’s reaction to his baby sister being with one of his men. I can’t even touch anything else plot wise because I know I’ll just start rambling about it all and totally spoiler it.
All I’m going to say, even if it does make me seem like a stuck record, is that I enjoyed this book so much I kept taking little breaks just to make it last. Yes, I know there is another book to come, and maybe there will be more shorts like MariaLisa likes to do, but I have just binge read this series from Mica to Fury and I was not ready for it to end. Each story drags you in and immerses you into this world MariaLisa deMora has created, making you as the reader feel connected to the characters in a way that you feel their emotions right along with them. Cry, laugh, gasp at the OMG moments…. You get the idea. Another page turning read, Fury gets a well deserved 5 stars from me.

While I have loved everything ever written by Ms deMora, I have a very squishy soft spot for the Rebel Wayfarers MC romance novels. Each of these has made an impact in its own way - Watcher and Hoss' stories leaving me shell shocked and weepy for days, while Bones and Duck's books gave rise to something more like hope and happiness. In the meantime, long before he got his own leading role, Fury was there either on the sidelines or in the thick of all I've loved about this series and its characters, just as Bethany featured in the tragedy of Mason's upbringing and the horror of Utah. It makes complete sense, therefore, that Fury and Bethy's love story has been told in the same way it's been woven, integral to the fabric of all the Rebels' stories that preceded this book: serving to tie up loose ends regarding events that have underpinned the "action" element of this series with the additional perspective of these easy-to-love protagonists. I know MariaLisa has hinted about bringing this series to an end with the next book, Cassie, but I'm not too proud to beg for her to keep this good stuff coming for a while yet!
I’m a huge fan of this author and have read and loved all the Rebel Wayfarer MC books. Fury is Bethany and Gabe story and this one was just as amazing as the others. This author is very talented, she meticulously and strategically connects the stories of different characters into similar time lines. These story as with Fury’s are filled with heartache, betrayals, and are painful. I always find an underlying message within the words of this authors writings. The journey is a long one, one that has so many ups and downs but I know that at the end things will work out.
Bethany is Mason’s little sister, and there’s nothing little about this character. I usually fall in love with the men in this stories but Bethany won this one hands down. She’s gone through so much in life but came out stronger. Despite being betrayed she has a heart of gold and is loyal to those she loves. I bonded with this character instantly, just like in the real world we all make mistakes and we grow from said mistakes. Bethany’s character was just like that she never let her mistakes hold her back, well except for a sexy red headed biker that is.
Fury, I’m sorry I needed him to suffer more. Moving on in the past he was known as Gabe and his past with Bethany wasn’t pretty. It was ugly, I’m talking junk punch ugly. Over the years Fury has changed, his mistakes and his regrets led him to be a better man and a Rebel Wayfarer member. His paths takes him right back to the very woman who has occupied his heart and mind for years.
Fury and Bethany’s past, present and future was laid out perfectly in this story. It’s a story filled with pain, joy and promises. Besides winning back Bethany’s heart we are also settling some old scores. I’m not going to say much because if you haven’t read this series I’ll blow things wide open. I was so glad to that some scores were settled and to see some of my favorite Rebel Wayfarers from previous books. I love how this author has made me part of the Rebel Wayfarer family just by the use of her words. I always can count on getting lost inside her stories that I forget I’m actually not there. I’d hate to see this series end, I’m grateful that there are still more characters screaming to be heard and some unresolved matters left to be resolved . Highly Recommend!
I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, love, betrayal, secrets, healing, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Mica (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #1) A Sweet & Merry Christmas (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #1.5) Slate (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #2) Bear (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #3) Jase (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #4) Gunny (Rebel Wayfarers MC #5) Mason (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #6) Hoss (Rebel Wayfarers MC #7) Harddrive Holidays (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #7.5) Duck (Rebel Wayfarers MC #8) Watcher (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #9) Bones (Rebel Wayfarers MC #10)
This is Bethy and Fury’s story. Fury had it tough growing up, but he made it out of his past alive when others didn’t. That past keeps him locked in nightmares that he remembers on a regular occurrence. But as he tries to escape his past and build a future he met and joined a MC. He has climbed the ladder and landed at the top, but he is missing a woman at his side. Bethy had a traumatic childhood and feeling like she is always surrounded by one disaster after another. She is finally getting her life on track until one night with Fury and everything changes. They should not be looking or touching but the passion and chemistry between these two is explosive and they just can’t stay away. But is someone going to make sure they are never together? Will the past these two have both tried to overcome effect there future together?
I loved both characters. As always you get background from the characters as they grow and learn. You get the difficulties of them both. You get so much out of MariaLisa’s books. She pulls you in and then introduces you around to all the characters you knew from previous books. You get to see different sides and new prospective from them. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.
This author never fails to deliver a amazing story. I really wanted to dislike the character Fury for his past actions toward the h but I just couldn't. I found myself rooting for him all the way. The twist and turns this story takes will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. I love it when a author can pull strong emotions from readers and this author has a real talent for that. The trip down memory lane was a little painful at times but only because I really connected with the other characters in past books. This is truely one of the best MC series I have ever read. If your looking for well developed characters and story lines that grab and keep your attention then this is a series for you. A lot of things come to light and questions get answered along with people getting their just rewards in the end. What a ride Fury takes you on to get his HEA. It is well worth the read. Rated very good
This series just keeps getting better and better. All of the characters have come to mean so much to me. I feel as if they are extended family, and that reading their stories is more of a family reunion and catching up. Fury and Bethany have just been added to my "cousins" list and I couldn't be happier with the way their story turned out. I was thoroughly hooked from the start. I have been dying to know who Bethany would end up with, knowing that she couldn't not be with a RWMC brother. Hello, she is Mason's sister. DUH. Fury and Bethany have a very rocky and unconventional start to their relationship. Hurdles are overcome, forgiveness is given, and secrets are revealed. This series is my #1 MC series and the characters prove why that is with every book release. There were several hints given in this book so I am excited to see which direction we go next!
Oh wow , I could not wait for Fury and Bethany’s story and boy oh boy did Ms. DeMora deliver with a story that kept me reading until 4 am on a workday.
She has always made sure we really got to know her characters in each of her books , getting to know their childhood and what made them who they are today, but finding out just how far back Fury and Bethany’s story went was shocking and just what he did to her even more so.
If you have loved all of the Rebel Wayfarers books so far you will not be disappointed with this one and if you are a newbie to this series please go back to Mica and start there I promise you will not be disappointed.
I fell in love with this wonderful world that MariaLisa created in the Rebel Wayfarers MC stories. I was dying to read Gabriel and Bethy's story. I so loved getting to know Bethy more. My heart broke for all that she went through and gave up. She was so strong and selfless. I desperately wanted someone to take care of her as she gave so much of herself for others. Keeping a secret for so long. I absolutely LOVED Fury for her. Even knowing his background which actually showed me even more of how strong Bethy was always thinking of others and never giving up on Fury. Ready to fight for them. I loved every bit of their story.
This is my Confession: I always sit down with a new MLDM book and say, “This book can’t beat the last”. Over and over again I am happily disappointed. The story of both Fury and Bethy are a soulful mix of both sorrow and brightness. This is more than just a gritty MC romance. Its that plus a heart-wrenching second chance at love between to good hearted people that deserve it.
Well...don’t take my word for it. Find out for yourself exactly what will make FURY one of your top 2017 reads.
WoW!!! Gab and Bethy's story is a journey of Love, love lost, betrayal, determination, brotherhood, finding ones self, forgiveness and find lost love. I love MariaLisa's writing style. This series gets better with every book and I can't wait to see what she has in store for RWMC.
This was a re read and I'm not sure what happened the first time I read it but I loved it this time around. So my rating is changing from a 4 to a 5. As my rating states I really liked it but it didn't have the "Wow" factor that the others have had for me. Right from the start I didn't get "hooked" like I normally do....can't explain why I just didn't. I've always loved Fury's character and Bethany is also a great character. The way they got back together was too matter of fact after what he had done to her. Yes he beat himself up about that for many years and was still doing it. They are great together though and that was a saving grace. We got some answers to some things that had happened. I must admit that whole conversation with Justine had me whirling and it was hard to follow. It got to a point where it felt rushed and I was not expecting the end when it came...I touched my page to advance and it stated end of story and I said out loud "what????". I know its not the end of the series because it states that the next story is about Carrie and Hoss. Have we met Carrie? I can't remember. Overall though it was a great story. The ending lends itself to there being books about the kids so here's hoping.
This book has so much in it! I finished it yesterday. Let in summer in my mind, then went back and re-read parts of it again today. I have been awaiting Guru's story for a while now and there is just so much to this book that I wasn't sure what to think. It feels like the end of an era in so many ways. Many of those threads that have been left dangling and dangling throughout the rest of this series feel that they have been tied off, but there are still a few that remain. Bethy has such an inner strength to see beyond the past and focus right on the heart of a person or situation that it is refreshing. The was she buffers all Fury's hard edges makes them perfect for one another.
This is an overall review for the Rebel Wayfarers MC Series as a whole....... In the last 2 weeks I have read every book that Madam MariaLisa DeMora has written. It has without a doubt, been the most intensely crazy, sometimes funny, all times emotional, to many times gut-wrenching, literary experience I've ever had! I've always said that I don't read normal. Well, I can still say I don't, cuz nothing about anything I've read the last couple of weeks can be considered anywhere close to normal. ML...you are a friggin freak of nature! You've taken the conversations goin on in your head, and created a family that we all get to be a part of. How you do, what you do amazes me with every word you give us. You are a damn rock star, Lady. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
MariaLisa deMora has woven a story of brotherhood, love of family, and the living of life that happens along the way. She has done this over a series of books, with Fury being #11. As with all her books, she starts at the beginning for the focused characters and shows their growth, and how they weave into the main storyline. Although this could be read as a stand-alone, the richness of her story-telling comes through if you read all the previous ones first. Fury is a great book for recognizing that messing up can be forgiven, looking to the future is a must, and that the present happiness should be held "with Both. Hands."
Once again MDL has delivered an amazing story. I LOVE all these characters and this one is one that I cried more than I thought I would which is okay. There's so many parts to this story and to have them all fit together and not feel rushed while reading them is brilliant.
I love how detailed the characters are as well as the scene development. I can't wait for the next book!!!
I highly recommend this book and the series. I could not put this book down. I do feel that way with each book in the series. I love how the Rebels are tight and how each characters life is entwined from the beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend this book and series you won’t be disappointed. Now I’m waiting for Hoss’s book to come out.
Fury and Bethany are a great couple in this cadre of amazing couples. I cannot believe all the things we’ve learned in this book and I’m so happy about all the things that have been resolved. Mason as always is a strong force in this book and I still love him too. I’m patiently waiting for Cassie and I don’t want this series to end.
This author has a great way with words. She draws you in and you can't put this book down. You want everything to work out for the main characters and the MC. Everything you want in a great MC, sexy bikers, strong women, romance, humor, danger. Great series. No cliffhanger and hea. Have a tissue ready.
This is an awesome book. I loved reading about Furry and Bethany. This series is so good. I love how the characters from the other books are in every book.
I have read this entire series and was very excited to see the new book was out. Then wah wah wah.....The author tried to tie up way to many loose ends in the over arching story line. Fury's story was totally lost. I spent much of the book confused about characters I couldn't remember and connections I could just not make. The last chapters made this feel like this was an end to the series, bummer of an end.
What the heck was this? This was a mess to read. There's no real plot what's so ever. A lot of rambling and takes from previous books. You don't really get to know Fury or Bethany better just random bits that aren't really that interesting. The over all story of the series doesn't really move forward... just... pointless book. I'm extremely disappointed.
Ok so I’ve read the rest of the series and found myself obsessed with the characters and their lives! I truly believe you will love these characters and become obsessed as I was, definitely felt like I needed more. I couldn’t tell you my favourite character as they were all different, went through different trials and have all different relationships.
