This should have been better, but it has numerous problems, not least of which having to do detective work to understand that at least one story ("Dead Boy Detectives: Run Ragged") spans a number of #1 titles, under the umbrella of Vertigo Anthologies 2011.

Furthermore, there is a LOT of hit and miss, with the only really sold tales being "A Bowl of Red" and first tale with the too long title.

In "Bride", the art of Phil Jimenez is beautiful, but as is often the case, the story makes little sense, and then there is some sort of science fantasy by Pole Pope that beautifully resembles the work of Caza, but has nothing to do with ghosts.

The rest is barely worth a mention and the whole thing is telling of Vertigo's swan song, with editor Karen Berger leaving the line a year later, in 2012.
