The books is not bad, although I already know all the dangers of heavy metals and pesticides lurking in my blood, eating fastfood etc.

What made me give it two stars (maybe should have been one star) is that the book does not do what it promises to. I was waiting for the amazing all-natural plan to come for the whole book and then it was the end, and... where was that miraculous program again? Did I miss something? I thought it would include some directions about what to eat, how to cook it and maybe some recipes as well. After all, nutrition is extremely important, and the author herself stresses it all the time. Hey, I was looking forward for a complete plan, and what I got instead were some very vague and general pieces of advice, as well as tons of artificial supplements (something I strongly disapprove of).

Two stars are only for the fact that there was some useful information about how to keep your brain in shape and about the use of spices that are good for the brain.

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease about four years ago. At first, we followed the conventional route prescription meds, physical therapy, and regular doctor visits. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, his condition gradually got worse. His memory declined, coordination became a challenge, and daily life was growing increasingly difficult for both of us.About a year ago, feeling like we were out of options, we decided to explore a more natural route. That’s when we came across NaturePath Herbal Clinic. To be honest, we didn’t expect much. But we were surprised within just a few months of starting their herbal program, there were noticeable improvements. His alertness sharpened, his mobility improved, and he seemed to have more strength and energy.Today, he’s more active, confident, and independent than he's been in years. It’s been a transformative journey, and I truly believe this natural approach made a real difference for him. If you or someone you care about is dealing with Parkinson’s, I’d definitely suggest taking a look at what NaturePath offers. Their website is www.naturepathherbalclinic.com

I spent some time looking for a book that would address brain from a nutritional point of view as well as from an environmental point of view. I settled on this excellent book. I made some changes to my environment and lifestyle with (I feel) a measurable positive impact on my general health.

Understand your brain, keep it healthy, and life will be much, much better: an obvious point of view but how many people take the time to read a little about their own brains?
