A little heavy-handed on the "mean dad" angle. I get the comparison. Very clever to align Donald Blake's relationship with his father to Thor's relationship to Odin. Seems obvious once you're aware of it. However, Odin and Thor are gods and they do as they please. Donald Blake and his dad are flawed human beings. Do we ever get to meet Mr. Blake Sr.? If this were a Netflix series, we'd kinda have to. We'd be forced to, in fact. That's how they roll, for better or, more likely, worse. What do the gentle folks of Marvel Comics have in store for us. I'm curious to know. On to issue #2...
