Nicki Connors is happy to take a break from blogging, and writing spy novels, to enjoy a nice dinner at her favorite Italian restaurant with her sometimes-in-town boyfriend, Rob. But when he starts leading up to a serious commitment question, she starts looking for ways to distract him, and finds a big one when they discover the restaurant's hostess, facedown in a plate of pasta.
It was bad enough that she had to call the police chief and tell him she'd somehow stumbled across another dead body, or that Rob fled back to his safe apartment in the city, but this was different from the last time. Nicki knew this victim.
It isn't long before Nicki finds out that the friendly, outgoing woman had a long list of people who wanted her dead. And the only one Nicki won't believe is guilty, is Charlie, the town's favorite, seventy-year-old, eccentric winemaker. He's not only known for producing the very worst wine in the county, he's also the victim's boyfriend, and the Chief of Police's number one suspect.
On top of trying to keep Charlie from being arrested, Nicki has to deal with Matt coming into town. The editor of the magazine she frequently writes articles for is determined to be sure she stays out of trouble, and soon is neck-deep in the murder investigation, as well as vying for the spot as Nicki's boyfriend.
Armed with her usual bribes of delicious baked concoctions, Nicki, along with good friends Alex and Jenna, and her hilariously opinionated landlady, Maxie, is determined to unmask the killer. Hopefully before the lovable Charlie is forced to spend the rest of his retirement years behind bars.

Ho capito subito chi fosse il colpevole, ma questo non ha tolto nulla al libro, forse perché sono curiosa di scoprire se la protagonista capirà che Matt è l'uomo giusto per lei. Comunque sia, trovo che ci sia un bel cast di personaggi, ben amalgamato e senza caratteri sopra le righe come in accade in molte serie.

Perfect
Love this series! ALL the characters are truly wonderful. Hopefully romance will blossom between Nikki and Matt. Fingers crossed!😘 The mystery is fantastic! This book is full of love, laughter and mystery. A must read for all. My only problem is that the book ended. Please release the next book soon. Can't wait to see what happens next!

AWESOME
Another wonderful story by an amazing author, this is the second book in this series so far and I loved it!!! I am so excited to read more about these wonderful characters that live in Arson.
