Guinness World Records™, known until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records, is a reference book published annually, containing a collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself holds a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted book series of all time. It is also one of the most frequently stolen books from public libraries in the United States
This is a great quality official Guiness World Records book, slightly smaller than A4 and about half an inch thick. It’s extremely colourful throughout - literally from cover to cover - and packed with great pictures and interesting facts about animals. There’s not just interesting facts - “A Hyena’s laugh cane be heard 8 miles away”. There’s quick quizzes, - “ The Beaver is the national animal of which country” plus theres lots of jokes and other fun ideas. The text is broken up into short paragraphs and is very kid-friendly.
