Marriage of Convenience

Rate this book
"I just want you," she said. "However you want. There'll be plenty of time later."

Her tongue swirled around him, drawing away his entire concentration. By the time he regained control of himself he was trying to force himself deeper into her throat. He pulled his hand away and she pulled herself off and looked up at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You like that?"

He wanted to be a politician, and that meant getting married. It didn't matter to him who he married. As long as she was presentable.

Well, I'd hardly call my messed up life presentable.

I just needed a way to keep my twins fed and warm, and away from their scumbag father.

He made me an offer I literally couldn't refuse. It helped that I wanted to be touched, stroked, pleasured by him in every way possible.

A marriage agreement. We get married, we both benefit. It was smart. It was clean. And it was all going great, until our feelings started making the situation messy. Really messy.

After Cole helps Sarah at court, he starts to think and offers her a marriage of convenience, Sarah agrees but also states that the marriage must be real in all way.
Everything was going as they both planned until one night at a dinner both Sarah’s ex Cole, and his father were there. Only then did Dan makes the connection that Cole was Sarah’s ex.
Somewhere in between the lines started to blur, and Dan realised that he was starting realises that emotions were getting involved when it was supposed to be a marriage of convenience, admittedly they were having a lot of sex, more than he normally would, but he also realised he could do many things to end the marriage but he didn’t want to.
They have their ups and downs but when Dan takes Sarah to dinner and after a phone call having to meet a client, dinner takes a turn for the worse with Dan being stabbed, Sarah under suspicion and someone dead. Although I enjoyed the book I felt the ending seemed rushed to get to the happily ever after.

A Good Deed

A wonderful story. I mean who would meet their Prince Charming at a child support hearing? Well Sarah did and got more than just a business card from Mr. Bryant in the end. A must read with a beautiful ending.

Sweet surprise

This was a sweet romance. More like every day Life instead of dating romance. Enjoyable read. Read it all in one 24hour period.

It was a great story line

Even though it was a great story.... Spoiler alert if you don't want to know don't read..

There was way to many flaws for me to really enjoy it... It actually skipped to a completely different time with no warning like when His driver was picking her up from her aunts and she and the driver Dave got the girls in the car and she got in then bam they are doing the wedding scene then after that instead of doing anything on the reception it went straight to going home and dealing the marriage. There was also quite a few typos where it should of been he but was her, etc. In some spots it actually confused me to the point I almost closed it to not open again. However I made myself finish it. I liked the change in POV's because I like to have reads where I can see the how each person feels however sometimes it would be a little hazy on who's POV's I was reading from. But even though all that happened I loved the story in itself
