This was a bit different in the sense of how mean adults can be when in reality you like to think this attitude doesn’t exist. It’s written very well and the characters are strong. A fantastic performance from Kylie.

CLIFFHANGER
Living your life large for some people is hard because people can be extremely cruel. Not all have thick skin. So, don’t assume thick body thick skin. Words hurt. When you think no one's around, know walls have ears. So do the ones you talk about behind their back. As you will see in this story.
This is a story about Kayla, a woman who for the most part accepts her size. She eats healthy as possible when she can, for she is always busy. She is no longer afraid to confront the bullies and chubby haters. She dresses with a flare and style since she is a designer herself. Why hide who you are, just dress it. So, she does. Especially, her new venture, undergarments.
She is spotted at one of the photoshoots where she is a consultant/coordinator for the models and photo for a modeling agency. This day she is noticed at the highest level by sexy as hell, Justin. He is a new photographer who is contracted in. She didn’t know how to take him. You see he seemed to be flirting with her and even asked to take her pictures.
He does and then offers to take more later when her business is ready to launch. They meet again to do a shoot and boy things get sexually charged.
This was a great story until the end. If you are looking you are looking for a HEA you will not find it until the third installment. Since I got this Free on Amazon I would continue if you so chose it was a fun story. I give this: 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.

Sooo real life!
I enjoyed reading the 1st part of this story, it is so freakin real life. I can identify with Kayla and i admire her strenght. Also, enamored by Justin, such a fine male character.....can't wait to read the next one. Thanks Lexy!

Kayla Reid Fashion coordinator & Justin Baker passion for photography
Fashion Coordinator Kayla has a dream creating specialty lingerie for plus size women. Kayla has never felt beautiful or comfortable with her own weight. Which is why she wanted to design for the women who fit her size range. Working her full time job with Donnie T. designs as a fashion coordinator keeps her busy. The models respect her because she treats them like people. She knows how to calm the photographers & models when working a shoot.
An up & coming talented photographer has been asked to to work a Donnie T. shoot. This could be the brake that Justin Baker needs to prove himself in the fashion industry. Instead of just shooting wedding & small gigs to make a living. Though he has a degree in Accounting it was never his dream.
Walking into the studio Justin see a beauty, with the models. She might be larger than the average models but she is gorgeous. But Kayla is not a model but their fashion coordinator on the shoot I've been assigned.
Justin is mesmerized by Kayla. She is fierce, determined, smart. Justin starts taking shots of her during & after the shoot. When he tells her she should be a model. Kayla doesn't buy his bull. She knowns guys like him. They want a good lay... not a relationship with a woman her size. Justin says he is serious & when he starts taking pics of her. Kayla starts to believe she is beautiful.
Justin wants to prove that not all men are shallow & only want to date a toothpick as a partner. Though, he understands where Kayla's insecurities come from when it relates to how people treat big girls.

The title of this book on Amazon is "Capturing Her Beauty: BBW Billionaire Sweet & Sexy Romance (BBW Romance Series Book 1). This confused me and I will talk about how it did later in the review.
Kayla is a bigger woman who wanted to find her place in the fashion industry and make clothes to make people with her body shape feel beautiful. For now, she is working as a designer for a company and she manages the shoots.
Justin is a photographer assigned to work with the girls on a shoot, but he cannot help but stare at the woman working behind the scenes, Kayla. After a sexy impromptu shoot, they start falling for each other, and Kayla decides that if she is going to launch her BBW lingerie line, she wants Justin to take the photographs.
I read this book because I had enjoyed Lexy Timms' Managing the Bosses trilogy. I thought that this would be another story with a strong-willed female main character with the man lucky enough to fall in love with her.
First, the title on Amazon says "Billionaire" romance. Kayla isn't a billionaire and Justin also isn't a billionaire. In fact, the amount of money that they have, or in this case don't have, is pretty crucial to the plot. Why this was labeled as a billionaire romance, I don't know.
Secondly, there is no buildup to the romance. I don't mind "insta-love" in romance novels that much. However, Justin literally goes from seeing Kayla in one chapter, instantly falls in love, and has sex with her in what seems like or what could actually be the next chapter. Everything seemed far too rushed in their "romance".
Overall, I would not recommend this, the only good thing is that I didn't pay anything for it. It does not even end, but instead ends on a cliffhanger and tells you to read the next book of the series, which costs 3 dollars.
I will hopefully review the Managing the Bosses trilogy because, despite the disappointment that was this book, I still love that trilogy.

Just terrible. This book is missing something. There's an 'it' factor when everything aligns in a book. Plot and story, characterizations, steam, authentic drive, scene description and concept--and this is just lacking the thread that ties it all together. There's something missing that makes this read shy of any true recommendations or marks.
The one star is legitimately because it's 170 pages (taking out the dozen pages at the beginning listing all the books the author's ever looked at, and the end whatever-it-is-I-didn't-read-because-I-didn't-want-to-continue-the-let-down. ) and it's literally a third of a book. The plot is literally shorn into thirds and that's what you're getting.
Save your time--at least really cliffhangers aren't nearly this episodic.

Awful cliffhanger
Overall, I liked the message of this book: everyone has doubts about themselves; love and be proud of yourself for who you are.
Plus Justin was a sweetheart and I loved his character...right up to the end.
I'm so mad about how this book ended, I no longer feel good about Justin's character. The cliffhanger ending on top of the negative ending left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak, about Justin. I don't want to continue the series because I'm that upset about his callous behavior. I won't be reading book two because I'm so ticked off at Justin and where book one ended. What a jerk.

I wanted to love this book and for the first half of it I did. I enjoyed Kayla's confident personality and Justin seemed very level headed and kind.
The story was rolling along for me until the inconsistencies started. Combine location discrepancies (Kayla first lived in a house in one scene, then an apartment for the rest of the book ????) with severe personality changes and the book lost me 3/4th of the way through. By the end, I hated Justin, annoyed at Kayla (who was acting more like Bethany), and ready to give up on the series. Normally when a book ends on a cliffhanger, the author puts in an enticing blurb to peak a reader's interest at the end but no so with this.

Don’t love that it ends on a cliff hanger
I love that this is a book with beautiful confident bbw women. It’s hard to be confident when it seems like everyone is speaking about your weight and your body. But Kayla managed to do it even standing up for herself when she could have just heard the digs and internalized them. Bethany takes it to heart and I can’t say I wouldn’t feel the same. Justin is sweet and while he might not fully understand that Kayla is just trying to protect herself and maybe him he still thinks she’s beautiful and sexy. I hope they will find a way back to each other.

I want to be her…
The story immediately captured me and wouldn’t let go. I’m writing this at 2:30 in the morning. I couldn’t stop until I reached the end.
I really enjoy the use of dual perspective, allowing the reader to understand the motivations and thoughts of both the main characters. As a BBW I can totally understand her perspective, while empathizing wiry him.
I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happens next.

Where to start? With all the behind the back talking and yelling at others, low sel-esteem, and immature convo, I didn't know if this book was set in high school or the work force. Poor storyline and it's not over in that there are two more books. Why?!

This story is a total rollercoaster. I love how Kayla is so confident in herself that she goes after what she wants. But in the end I am sad for her. I hope the next book will bring them happiness.
