Kindra Simone Carter, an in-demand photographer to the who’s who in the entertainment world, seemed to have everything a young, black woman could ever want. A career on the rise, money in the bank, properties, cars; family and friends who loved her. One thing she did lack, a heart. Swearing off relationships and love all together after suffering the ultimate betrayal, she began to use men as they’d always used her; as a sexual object. Using sex as her remedy of choice for what ails her; until her perfect life as she knew it began to spiral out of control when she meets Samaad and he attempts to chip away at the ice around her heart. Will she continue to live life as a monogamously challenged woman scorned; or will she allowed her heart to thaw and give love another try?
I find an audio books that this particular narrator is a part of tend to be extremely flawed. For example there is a ton of mispronunciation as well as repeating sentences until it sounds just right that means that one sentence or phrase may be repeated two to three times which is the case in this particular book. aside from the narration issues the story was not strong enough to warrant A Part 2. the characters were uninteresting, the plot for the story lagged in several places. I I am returning this flawed audio and I'm iffy on part 2 whenever it releases.
