Another installment in Bill O' Reilly's 'Legends and Lies' series that highlights the more well known events and tragedies of the American Civil War. Not a thorough history by any means but none the less a chronological look from start to end of the war with those events most in the public conscience. The author sets the record straight on the legends with known historical facts. Always entertaining and informative, the 'Legends and Lies' make for good reading.

The book takes an in depth view, complete with photos and illustrations of the CIVIL WAR. Mr.O'Reilly's love of history is shown in this edition .

As a lover of the study not only history but the Civil War I found information in the book even I did not know,along with reproductions of photo's and drawings of the war. Excellent book,well researched and well written.
