About the author

Kawashima made his professional debut with Daughter Maker, which ran in Kōdansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine Zōkan Great. From October 2003 to October 2009, Kawashima collaborated with Adachitoka to create Alive -Saishū Shinkateki Shōnen (Alive- The Final Evolution), which was published in Kōdansha's Monthly Shōnen Magazine. Kawashima succumbed to liver cancer on June 15, 2010 and died at the age of 41.

Terlepas dari romansa Nami Kusunoki, semuanya berakhir baik. Kawashima sensei masih mencoba memberikan "celah" untuk pembaca yg biasednya Nami, namun apa daya sudah kadung kecewa hhe.
Plot yg dibangun Kawashima sensei sejak jilid awal begitu intens. Sempat keteteran mengembangkan cerita pada saat pertempuran di lautan, namun cukup bisa mengakhiri dengan baik. Sayangnya, untuk mengakhiri kisah invasi2 sejenis ini, sensei memang harus lebih njelimet memberikan akhir yg memuaskan. Mungkin terkesan sederhana melihat akhir yg ditawarkan Mitama, tapi bisa jaadi itulah yg terbaik yg dapat terjadi pada serial ini.

Untuk artwork, harus saya akui, awal saya tertarik membaca serial ini karena gambarnya dipegang oleh Adachitoka sensei. Kaver2 setiap jilid menjadi bukti sahih, garis yg halus dan detail serta penempatan cat warna yg sangat baik dan memanjakan mata. Pada volume2 awal, gambar sensei memang masih kasar dan terkesan amatir. Sejak jilid kelima, saya melihat gambar sensei telah berkembang hingga menjadi gambar yg dikenal luas seperti karya beliau Noragami. Artwork sensei ini menjadi penyelamat utama utk serial ini menurut saya hhe.

Overall 7.4/10 menurut saya.

Pues es un poco pesada, pero interesante

Toda la serie trata sobre la temática de la vida, el suicidio y los poderes, las peleas son simples y creo que se pudo aprovechar mas los poderes de cada uno y la verdad el final se lo saco del sombrero, pero es interesante como van avanzando los personajes y superandose a si mismos, y hay mucha pero mucha muerte, no te encariñes muchos con los personajes

The first few chapters instantly got me hooked reading the book. It was a different power system. As nearing the end I wanted more to happen. Like to explain the power system and other comrades to appear but it seems it’s only writhing the group are the comrades. The ending was a bit meh but I still like it!

Argh! What an annoying ending, Though it was full of excitement from the last chapter of volume one, the last volume of this series ruined it for me. Why did Taisuke and Megu end up together? Nami was obviously have been through a lot tougher stuff with him, why do he have to break her heart? *sobs* Anyway, it's only because of Taisuke choice that I marked this last volume with two stars, overall this series was great. I still really like Taisuke but kind of hate him too.
